Well... Unfortunately I will no longer be using them for my nails. They charge different amounts for their services every time I go in. This is my fourth visit here. This time was way too much. I was charged $33 for a fill. Last time it was $25. No designs. Nothing fancy. The nail tech I had left my nails very uneven also. Large dips in the acrylic. Thick in some spots and thin in others. I would ask for a price before starting your service. read more

The ladies working here were very nice and did a great job with our nails. I showed the ladies a photo from Pinterest and they did a pretty good job representing the photo. Me and my daughters go every two weeks Faithfully & we started at Panda nails on 83rd and Indian school it was absolutely horrible I stopped getting my nails done for months due to repeated bad experiences at multiple shops until I found Allora !! My daughters and I are very much respected and taken care of every time we go ! Allora is our permanent location I HIGHLY recommend! They appreciate and value their customers and you don't see that often in nail salons ! I was going here for almost 2 years, every 3-4 weeks, and I brought new clients in. I stopped going and I'll tell you why. The owner is part of the reason as she can get rude at times and not super friendly unless she's throwing their newest & most expensive pedicure at you asking if you want it even though she's not doing my feet or nails. I guess she's too good to do feet, so she does nails and needs to stop doing those too because I stopped letting her do mine after 2 try's because the quality is trash both times. There's only 1-2 people that can do a design in the shop, so if you don't want a solid color you may as well forget it. The last straw for me was the pricing, it's NEVER the same. You could ask for the price before service and every single time it's a different price when you go and pay afterwards. Well the last time I went in, it was me and my 8 year old daughter... I got a gel pedicure only (no nail service) and my 8 year old daughter got a gel mani and pedi - just basic pedicures nothing extra and fancy because I don't need to pay $25 extra for someone to rub oranges on my ankles. I get to the register and the guy tells me that will be $180... I told him that cannot be right and I read back to him the services I got and he called the owner over and spit out a new price of $160. I told them that's ridiculous and I don't need to explain why, the prices and the services don't match up. I let them know I was mad and I will not be back and I never did go back. After almost 2 years of small instances I was fed up and the pricing just pushed me over the edge. I've taken my business elsewhere, I spend way too much money each month on nails and pedicures for mediocre work AND mediocre service. read more

Went in to the shop and they had a few customers that they were working on. I was seated and was told to put my hands in a bowl to get my dip off. So far I loved how small it was and it seemed so comfortable being there. A lady who seemed like she was the owner bounced between customers and eventually started on my nails, which came out pretty good. I had also asked for eyebrow waxing. This is where I feel I should have said something or have asked to keep most of my eyebrow hair since it took forever to grow. Let's just say I walked out with almost no brows. I want to cry because I usually don't put up a fuss about things but it really bothered me. I'll probably only go there for just my nails from now on. read more

I had previously gone to this salon and Michelle did my nails. I loved them so scheduled my next appointment with her. I arrived for that appointment (the day before I was flying out early morning on vacation) and was told Michelle was off and "doesn't really do nails and does pedicures." Well the woman who did my nails shouldn't be doing nails and her name was Lee... I'm pretty sure she's the owner too. Walking out it wasn't great, but I was in a hurry, but that night the top began peeling, exposing WET paint underneath. Within a matter of 3 days basically all the nails had done the same and looked awful. I called and requested an appointment with someone else, for obvious reasons, someone else started and then she came in and insisted she fixed it. She initially blamed me for getting matte (I've gotten matte for years). I kept it basic because I didn't trust her and still there are obvious imperfections, but I just had to go so I settled. Hubby and I came in for a pedi. I also got a new set. Overall the salon was nice and clean. Couple of things I didn't like. First, as I was getting my pedi I was under the impression someone would be doing my nails at the same time. I mentioned it to my pedi tech. She said something to another lady who was kicked up in a chair looking in her phone. After a while that lady came and began working on my nails. She seemed nice enough but that put a bad taste in my mouth. Once she applied the powder to my nails she advised she'd be leaving and someone else would finish my nails. Wait what? Bad customer service! The owner finished my nails (her daughter started). While my nails came out nice, I would have preferred the owner did my nails to begin with, since her daughter clearly had a prior engagement. Not to mention both of our pedicures were horrible.
