I called Slava from AllSafe Appliance to fix my refrigerator. He was able to schedule an appointment on Sunday morning, arrived on time and was able to diagnose and the issue very quickly. He had the spare part that needed replacements in his van and he wasted no time in making a replacement. The refrigerator is now as good as new! After he finished with this job, I asked him to take a look at my dryer as it started to make some strange noises. He quickly told me what the issue is likely to be and after he troubleshot it some more he was able to confirm it. Latter on we agreed that he will order the spare part required. Once he got the part we scheduled an appointment, and once again he was on time, was very professional, and fixed the issue quickly and effectively. I would definitely call he again if I need any repair work on my appliances. --Alex

Excellent service. I had an issue with my oven igniter causing a large, rising flame to come through the vent into the cooking/baking area accompanied by a strong burning smell. I utilized Yelp to contact this business. Someone responded within minutes and was at my door 20 minutes later. Steve told me exactly what the issue was, replaced the igniter and cleaned the soot that may have been caused by food dropping into the vent. The problem was resolved in a timely matter. I have used Allsafe Appliance for all my repairs and Steve is the best, he is honest and fair he shows up when he says he will, is thorough and takes his time to explain things to you. Recently my LG refrigerator condenser died. The part was covered by warranty. So that I would not have to wait without a refrigerator Steve installed a condenser for me. I paid for the part and labor and when Steve got the condenser from LG he came right over to refund the money I paid for the part. I would not use anyone else and highly recommend him. read more

i have used the expert appliance center several times, both for repairs and to purchase new…read moreappliances. also i have had Jose come in 2x in the last 4 years to check out and clean my now 30 year old GE refrigerator. when i inquired about getting a new one, he told me my current one was functioning well and advised me to keep it. he noted that new appliances are just not as well made. on a different occasion the large wand head on my miehle vacuum stopped working. so i went in to buy a new one, Alexi, the man in the store, told me that they could try to repair it for $40. if it couldn't be fixed, the $40 would be applied to the price of a new wand head (which was well over $100.) well, they fixed it and also showed me how i could open it to clean it more thoroughly than i had been. finally, i recently had to buy a new microwave and figured i might as well buy a new electric range to replace my genuinely antique old one. so they sent me to the internet to find the appliances that i wanted and then return and tell them what i wanted so they would give me their price. they had the items i wanted in stock, were competitive and their installation fee reasonable, which included removing the old appliances and taking them away). we scheduled the installation for a date not far off and they provided, in advance, a certificate of insurance as required by my coop. the delivery was as scheduled and the 2 men who removed the old appliances and installed the new ones were professional, pleasant and efficient. it is really great to have a place like this, where one is dealing face to face with real people in the neighborhood.

Being handy, I had changed the door seal that corroded with a brand new original factory seal but still saw a small leak so i called Expert who I used many times before. They sent their dishwasher "expert" who said the seal was perfect, fiddled around, and when he could not fix it, said try it for a couple of weeks to see if seal molded into place, but he didn't think it would so plan to buy a new dishwasher. I told him it looked to me like the door wasn't sealing tightly enough and he insisted it would not turn on if that was the case. A couple of weeks later the leak persisted so I called back and spoke to a manager who said if the tech couldn't fix it, a repair wasn't possible. He said they'd send the same tech out again but he insisted he was positive no repair was possible and there would be another charge. I called a local competitor who did exactly what I suggested to Expert in the first place -- make the door seal tightly -- and what do you know-- no more leak! Of course, now having two techs visits I paid twice for a repair that should have been done the first time. I contacted Expert last week via their online appointment site asking for an apology and for wasting my time and money and a refund. No response. This is no way to treat a 20+ year customer. I'll never use Expert again and will make sure I suggest their competitor to everyone I know.

I hired Vita Appliance to inspect and repair my washer and dryer. I was charged $500 plus…read morematerials, supposedly for cleaning lint and fixing a dryer door latch that stopped the machine from running. At that price, I told Olzhas I might as well buy a brand-new washer and dryer. He convinced me not to by promising a 1 year warranty on the repair. Since I was already spending heavily on renovations at the time, I trusted him and went ahead with the repair. Once he received the deposit, communication became a nightmare. He barely responded to texts or calls, and I had to chase him repeatedly just to get updates. Seven months later, the dryer broke again, same issue. When I contacted him, he claimed it was a different part of the door latch and therefore not covered under the warranty. To make matters worse, he wanted to charge me another $400 for the repair. I again had to chase him just to even come take a look. At that point, I gave up and bought a brand-new washer and dryer. I ended up wasting hundreds of dollars on repairs I shouldn't have needed, when I could've replaced the machines months earlier and saved myself the stress. After all this, he still had the nerve to ask me to leave a 5 star review. I don't recommend Vita Appliance. Poor communication, questionable warranty practices, and a complete waste of money. Save yourself the headache and go elsewhere.

He examined each piece individually as he removed them. He quickly isolated the problem and corrected it. Then he cleaned out the dust and cleaned each part he removed, oiled the moving parts and put the machine back together. He then tested the machines stitching, using various stitches, while making sure that I was satisfied with the operation and the way the stitches looked. Finally he asked me if I had any questions about the machine. It was a quick, easy and pleasant experience. It was easy to see Mr. Joseph's expertise problem solving and repairing sewing machines. His pricing was reasonable. I will take my machine to him for regular servicing to keep it working smoothly.

Omg! Steve surpassed my recommendations. He had my oven fixed quickly & expertly at reasonable cost. The oven was bought in 2003 and Steve had the part needed to get the temperature issue resolved on the spot. He's very respectful of your home, too. He removed his shoes without having to be asked which I truly appreciate. He is smart, polite & friendly. On top of this, I asked him about my refrigerator coils, which wasn't even part of the original service request. Embarrassingly, I have had no idea how to clean them, even after consulting the manual. He immediately got down & checked out the situation. He removed the plate covering the coils & started pulling out enough cat hair to created a third cat, (I have 2, one long-haired!) He asked for a vacuum & really got in there to clean them up! My morning started not with coffee.. When I opened my freezer in the morning, I found all my food defrosted. I was extremely disappointed! Just got it day before at Costco. I contacted AllSafe when my oven stopped working. I was called back quickly to schedule an appointment. Steve was punctual, even calling to let me know exactly when he'd arrive. They were very prompt, professional, and friendly! My Bosch washing machine was leaking The technician came by found out the problem and fixed it, 123.!! Helped put my dryer unit back on top as well. even give tips to prevent it from leaking again. The cost of everything was pretty good as well.
