I am very happy with Allstar Smog. No one wants to add a Smog check to the long list of to-do items, but Allstar made it super easy to show up, get my car tested, and get on my way. I arrived a little after 8am and there was already someone who getting their smog test. I was immediately told I would be next up and to wait for 5-10 minutes. Less than 5 minutes later, I was up. The smog test took less than 15 minutes and I was on my way. Next time I need a Smog test I know where to go! Thank you Allstar! read more

I had the best experience at this shop! It's clean and organized, which indicated to me that the testing equipment would be maintained in the same way. Like other reviewers, my smog check was finished within 15 minutes. The Sunday business hours services the community well. Efficient. I brought in my RSX here to do a last minute smog check as the DMV was hounding me down to get it done. The place is located with several other auto shops and in a tight location so it may be difficult to find at first. Victor was super helpful and even though I came in 30 minutes before closing, he was still able to do my smog check! If you check in on yelp, there is a $5 discount which he honors! You just have to tell him about your yelp check in and he will apply the discount! I was in and out as it took only 10 minutes to set up the smog check and send it to the DMV! I will definitely be coming back here! Unfortunately they don't have Military Discount. Service 5/5 Price 5/5 read more

Went to get a smog check on a Saturday morning, around 10 ish. There was no line and I was helped right away. It literally took less than 10 minutes to get it done! Another plus is if you check in, you get $5 off. What a deal! So, 5 stars for fast and friendly service, for fair price and close proximity to my house! Will definitely come back if I have to get another smog check! read more

Yen took care of the muffler delete and Lee and two other very helpful gentlemen took care of my coil overs. I have to say I am very satisfied with the quality of work for the value. They quoted me way under anyone else that I had called prior to going with them. I will recommend A-1 Muffler Express to all of my friends and family. They all make you feel that you're part of the family. They offered me coffee and cold water while I waited for my car to be done. One thing to remember, they are experts in mufflers, exhaust systems, and not any other type of work. But it never hurts to ask if they can do it for you!

The gentleman on the phone said the transmission fluid is for life unless I'm towing or carrying heavy loads. When I questioned why I see that it's recommended online he says that dealers will recommend this service all day but if you check the Toyota maintenance manual it says you don't need it. Man! I haven't even been to this shop yet and I'm already getting a good feeling about this place. It's a bit more expensive for an oil change than other places that have quoted me, but I like that they use factory parts including Toyota oil filters. Stay tuned.... 6/29/26 - Brought my Sienna in for an oil change + complimentary 30-point inspection (since it was my first time there). Jared took the van for a spin, brought it back and lifted it up. They found a little oil seepage coming out of the transfer case. I let them know that I did see a transfer case drain/fill on the CarFax report before I bought it. Jared thinks they just didn't torque it properly so they were going to retorque and clean up around the area and keep an eye on it. Worst case scenario, they would need to order a new drain plug gasket and I'd have to come back to get it replaced. Thankfully, the drain plug just needed to get tightened. I was in and out in almost exactly an hour just as Robert promised. Thanks The Toy Shop team!! Pro Tip: they are booked out at least a week in advanced so make your appointment ASAP!

The next day o took my car to them to be serviced. I dropped it off and they called me a couple of hours later with an estimate. Yes the estimate was pricey but again he was using Merced's parts and we all know that those aren't cheap. But what I appreciated most was their honesty . He told me that the rotors on the back were shit and definitely had to be replaced but the front were fine and if the price was too much I could actually wait awhile (not forever, but a payday or two) before replacing the brakes . I thought this was the most honest expertise I had ever had with an unknown mechanic. If you want the job done right, with friendly, professional people I would recommend this business to you and anybody who needed a wheel alignment and or brakes . Hopefully I won't have to go back anytime soon but I'll definitely be recommending the to everyone I know .

These guys are great here. It was easy and fast I would totally recommend coming back. But they do charge $50 now and you can save $5 by checking in with yelp and using the coupon. read more
