Took my gaming laptop into this facility after getting recommend by a friend + it's close to my house. I had an idea of what was wrong with it, just needed someone to execute it. When the repair person called me the next day he told me it will be $400 due to needing a new screen and motherboard repair. Told him no and that I'm on my way to pick up. Went into the shop and asked for my belongings, took 5 minutes for him to tell me to come back in a few hours. After I realized they never called- the shop was closed - called back the next morning and the man on the phone said "I told you yesterday a few hours and you didn't come back." Got a second opinion and ended up taking my laptop to another shop and they told me it would be $75 and that the LCD just needed to be reseated. hello everyone i hope everyone is well through these hard times i have done business on let go my local pawn shop and treat everyone with respect but today I had the worst experience here and odd so i called the shop before i showed up and explained what i had and I guess the owner mentioned the laptop im am trying to sell him he would have to sell at retail for $350 i spent close to $600 for it but i understand they have to make there money and $300-$250 would be the price im looking at i said ok sounds fair and i showed up with original box and parts figured it would be an easy sale i was wrong so i show him my laptop its in mint contention keyboard has a rubber cover as well so he say do i have the receipt ? ok odd i replayed no but i have my DL not a problem so he goes on how he has to tell who ever buys it that my computer is of cheap value and parts ok rude then he says he could only give me $150 during his babbling it is obvious for some reason what could it be mmmm we know why .. it came to me there something other than my laptop is why he lowed balled me I explained to him you are obvious uncomfortable for what ever "reason" you acting strangely i put my laptop away in its box and i left /i will add pictures of my laptop you decide and look up the model is HP Notebook 15-dy1051wm you deside. thank guys read more

Alltech Electronics has been around for quite awhile. When I was heavy into upgrading and rebuilding my own desktop computer, I found this store because it was open on Sundays when many other local stores were not. Now that my son is taking computer classes at OCC, he's having to locate tools and various items to make his own network cables. Our first stop today was Fry's in Fountain Valley, but they were sold out of many of the items he needed. My next thought was that we should go to the Fry's in Anaheim, but then I remembered we have this strip mall of small electronics stores one block west of Grand on Edinger and that's where Alltech is located. So I went to Alltech Electronics today with my son in search of RJ45 connectors. They had a bag of 50 for $5.95. Check that item off the list. This store is filled with salvaged items for sale - some new, but most are old or used so it's not a showplace of the latest and greatest computer products for sale and that's O.K.. They carry pretty much anything you would want or need for a computer and then some. As I was walking around the store, I even found cash drawers for POS machines, industrial casters and all different sorts of power supplies. They also have a wall of bins with various electronic parts at the back of the store. It's not the first place that comes to mind when I'm looking for computer parts, but I'm surprised when I do go and they have what I need. read more

NOTHING SHORT OF A MIRACLE~ DO YOURSELF A FAVOR and DO NOT GO ANYWHERE ELSE! I don't normally do reviews, but I do not BELIEVE what happened today. I go in, ask an employee for a charger, he hands me one then runs off. Great service, however when I get to the counter the owner Lucien tells me that it is not the right charger. So he goes grabs me the right one but grabs my old charger and uses his machine to test it. He then finds out that there is nothing wrong with my old charger so he tests my old power cord and yup sure enough it was the cord that was causing the problems, he even cut it open to show me the wire that had ripped itself out of its socket. He was about to make a 25 dollar sale yet he gave me an HONEST evaluation and drops it down to 5 dollars! HOWEVER that's not it While I was looking around at his store which is so BEAUTIFUL and to the point I grabbed a nice mouse from a 5$ mice bin. A bin just for 5$ mice!! ANYTHING FOR COMPUTERS is in this one store and this store has AMAZING PRICES! It felt as though I was the one who put the price tag on everything! Laptops, computers, web cameras to endless boxes of screws, EVERYTHING had a price on it that was simply TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE! BEFORE I get too carried away (though I could) I take the mouse to the counter and I am all ready to pay for my purchases, mind you the whole entire time we are having a pleasant conversation about LIFE. He tells me go ahead and just take em. GO AHEAD AND JUST TAKE THEM!!!!!!???? WHAT?!!!!?!! ARE WE IN AMERICA?? ARE YOU GOING TO ARREST ME!!?!?!!! WHAT KIND OF PERSON DOES THIS????? You can get a great used laptop Windows XP laptop here for ab out $350 that is absolutely terrific! I am thrilled that I found out about this place. I've now purchased at least 3 or 4 computers and many monitors and other accessories including the Dell Latitude 610 and 620 laptops and I am completely satisfied. I love my 17" laptop but it was getting tired. Instead of having to buy a new one,Gazy updated my Toshiba with a new 1TB solid state hard drive, new keyboard, put my existing hard drive in a USB case, installed Windows 10 Pro, installed my security software and made sure I could get my internet connections. All within one day. I was out the door up and running. I would rather have a root canal without Novocaine that have to set up a new computer.
