When looking for a place to get a pedicure done, I looked at the reviews first and I did see some good and some not so good but I went in with an opened mind. I went in let the receptionist know I wanted to get the deluxe pedi and I was seated not even 5 mins after coming in which is always a plus. Anna was the one who did my service and she was amazing. I am very happy and satisfied customer....I used to go across town for my nails but with gas prices on the rise, I needed to find somewhere close to me. I live on the Northeast side of Bakersfield. I just happen to google nail salons near me. And looked at many and their reviews until I seen Allure with 4 stars. I decided to call and right away they were friendly. Then I did a walk in and right away I was greeted by the lady employee then seated with Mr. Brian....made conversation. I recommend Allure Nails for their friendly and professional service. The salon is bright but quiet and relaxing. They have enough staff that you can usually get a manicure and pedicure simultaneously, even as a walk-in. They offer different types of massage with hot stones, etc. for the full treatment. I like the Deluxe gel pedicure & gel manicure. They do an excellent job and it lasts about a month. A great value! read more

I will only come to Allure after my experience today. The entire staff was so kind and did a fabulous job. Tracy did fantastic job on my pedicure and Mia did my acrylics EXACTLY how I wanted them. She even worked around my wrist brace, which is a challenge all on its own. I usually have a lot of anxiety getting my nails done and being able to explain what I want, but Mia did a wonderful job making sure the were perfect for me. Highly recommend read more

New to the Bakersfield so tried Allure which is close to my house. This is my fourth Mani/Pedi at Allure and can't say enough great things about the service I received. The last two times I was lucky to have Linh for my Mani and or Pedi. What a nice job he does. James is new but also does a great job. Definitely recommend Linh. I hate having to write this review but I feel like it's needs to be put on here. I have been coming here since this place opened because it's closer to home and I've never had bad service until today. I got an older gentleman with glasses as pictured. He never said hi or mentioned his name or anything , he came up and said what do you want. I let him know I wanted French tip gel and acrylic overlay on just my big toes. he said "we don't do that here" so I said ok that's fine I'll just take pink gel then . I had previously gone to another place before coming back here because my friend paid for my birthday nails so I went to where she took me . I usually always get gel but this last time I had gotten acrylic overlay. He asked if I wanted a fill but I said no I just want it off and want gel on my nail. He then said "I can't take that off you have to get the gel over the overlay." So I told him I would just go somewhere else to get it off first ,then get a pedicure after cause how ugly would it look to have a gel poli over the overlay outgrown? He then called brian over and I told Brian what I wanted and he said "yeah he can do that" and the guy changed his attitude real quick and was like "I'll do it but it's gonna take time" so I feel like he just didn't want to go through the hassle of doing it that's why he had said no. I was going to pay for it so I don't see why he would lie and say he couldn't do that. THEN he cuts my toenails super short to where they're stinging and burning from how short they are. When he did the hot stone massage it wasn't 5 minutes he didn't even set a timer like I saw other people doing but his was literally 1 min. I STILL paid for my service because I'm not going to just not pay for it but I forsure and Never coming back here again, will just go back to taking the drive to the other side of town if it means getting better service. I just hope they do something to change this customer service. read more

I am not from the area but was visiting and took a chance on this place. Everyone there is so nice my nail technician was Dani and another lady at the end for my design and she did amazing. My nails looked exactly like the picture and I was very happy with everything. They greeted me with water and the entire spa is super clean. If I'm up there again I would most definitely go considering it's so hard to find a nail place where they are gentle and kind. To all the locals please go you will be very happy. read more

You have to know who you are going to, let me repeat, know the nail techs name and service before you walk in because if you just walk in you will be getting half fast service. For as much as they charge you should be getting what you pay for not just going through the motion of what they are supposed to do. The guy I had was supposed to be cutting my cuticles and he was just tapping my nail bid like he was clipping, just going through the motions. Not all techs are like that but I've been going there too long to put up with that, looking for a new nail salon as we speak unfortunately. read more

UPDATE: I had originally given them 5 stars however, 2 of my nails came right of after like 6 days (today) and I was only able to take one in and they charge me to get the other one fixed which should not be the case since they just came right off. Still great service and friendly staff. So now it's for like a 3 star as quality is a must for me. Also when we schedule to be fixed we asked for the same girl so nails could be consistent and was told okay but when we got there she was busy for the next hour and got someone else that left the nails good but not matching the shape of the other ones, quite a bit thicker. Ballerina shape vs square. They are so friendly, and because if that they don't get a 1-star. It was my first time coming to this salon and I had an amazing experience. From the moment I walked in everyone was attentive. I have previously gone to salons and I do not like their work.
