We were sad to see the old vegan restaurant go, but this has been a huge upgrade from a food standpoint. Totally opposite kind of food, but delicious! The chef is serious about his food. Real life, Spanish tapas here!! We started with the appetizer plate of cheese and meat, which were top quality. We moved on to the gumba/shrimp and broccolini, as well as the carpaccio. Everything was top grade. Service was really good and not rush They didn't do much to the interior, and they didn't have to. They did put up one big mural of a Spanish scene. It's actually very lovely My only complaint is the noise level. I hope they do something about it. It was quite difficult to hear in there, even though the crowd thinned out as the night wore on. Acoustical panels would help! Highly recommend for the food, and happy to see a vibrant scene in here full of people.

Phenomenal from start to finish! A 3 hour meal. Each succulent moment was divine. The Tapas plates (shared) brought flavors and visual happiness! We ended with Paella Ibiza = our way! We added grilled octopus. Perfect!. Our server was a delight. He knew each wine, each tapas, the entire menu! Our dessert, burnt cheesecake with guava sauce, well let's just say I am still dreaming about it. We topped the night off with Don Zoilo Sherry - compliments of the fabulous chef and owner Elier. We will be back! So much more to try! And the prices are reasonable! Love!

We had a great dinner at Alma de Espana. Started off with the octopus, which was perfectly prepared. Then had the classic paella.

Service was excellent--the pacing of the food was especially well done, with dishes coming out at just the right intervals so we could actually enjoy everything as it arrived. Cocktails were well made, and our friends were very happy with the wine selection. We ordered a large portion of the menu, and most dishes were really flavorful and well executed, very true to what tapas dining should feel like. The only two things that didn't quite work for me were the vegetable paella and the mushroom toast, but everything else was solid to excellent. They also did a great job accommodating us with kids. We had a nice semi-private table upstairs, which made the whole dinner feel comfortable and easy for a group. Overall, it's a great place for both groups and date nights, and I'd happily return.

We ordered the watermelon salad and the Queso de Cabra. Both were very good. We then ordered the lamb skewers, the beef cheeks, shrimp and the potatoes. Everything was good except for the shrimp. We had the Flan for dessert which was great. The restaurant is very noisy so I would suggest getting an outdoor table. Our server was terrific with great service and suggestions. The restaurant has an upstairs, downstairs, bar and outdoor seating. We also enjoyed the Sangria. Our friend ordered a gin and tonic and a glass of white wine. He complained to the server how small the glasses were. Our bill for four of us was $260 which is way too high for the size of the portions.

It's got a relaxing beach vibe with outside seating and a nice patio in the back with enough shade. I could tell that they host nightly entertainment here with a small stage. Also ordered include the blackened grouper sandwich, billionaire burger, and tempura shrimp appetizer. Our group loved every entree. The cocktails were also refreshing. The parking place had ample parking where you needed a mobile app to pay for your parking. There was a larger souvenir store there if you needed to kill time before your seating. Once it was our time for our dinner reservations, we were greeted and seated at our table. Our waitress was a bit sarcastic or had a witty comments that didn't sit well with my kids. When ordering our foods, the kids asked what type of drinks they had since it was not listed on the menu. She said Coke but didn't elaborate that they had Coke products. Since she said Coke so fast our daughter didn't hear the response and asked her the question again where she just said that's a great question and ignored her and moved on. Food wise - we had the Peruvian ceviche, Peruvian chicken, I think I had a special grouper dish. The food was good. We were able to eat everything and the kids enjoyed their kids burger meals. Outside of the waitress comments, the place placed nice modern music to listen to and had the basketballs games playing on the tv at the bar.

While Bohemios is tapas, they also offer some full plate dishes such as the Paella and our other dish, Bohemios Churrasco. We definitely liked the food. The Paella had a mild familiar flavor. It could have used more seafood but for the price, I was more than satisfied. The Churrasco steak was cooked perfectly for me and their zesty chimichurri sauce made it excellent. I didn't try the side of Gallo Pinto, I don't really like most beans, but my wife seemed to enjoy it. The fried sweet plantains were delicious. Another thing I did enjoy was their Mediterranean Bruschetta, three pieces stacked high, what a great start to the meal. Bohemios is a smallish place with about 8 tables and maybe a dozen bar seats inside, a few more tables outside. Reservations are recommended. Our server was a fun, outgoing, memorable guy and we loved all our interactions. The pace of the meal was good, about 10 minutes for the Bruschetta, another 10 after we finished for the main course. We got a pitcher of sangria and they make it right beside the table. It was SO good. Wow. Each person got about 1/4 a loaf of warm bread. They did say it was cuban bread but it wasn't really. But hey the bread was good. We got their famous salad to try (one side order for 2 people to split and one person got it as their entree) and it was very good. They also make that table side. For our meals, we got the lechón, salad, and fish. The portions were HUGE. So much pork. It came with great tasing yucca, beans, and plantains too. For desert, we got the guava pastry and the natilla. The guava pastry was actually kind of amazing. Warm and so so good. The natilla was good but it was closer to a crème brûlée.
