We needed all new plumbing mainlines after we found some leaking under our house. I was referred to Almighty by a mutual contact. They did a huge job of digging up our yard, working under our house and replacing everything up to the city's pipes. Then they cleaned it all up and worked professionally the entire time. It was four days worth of work and they knocked it out of the park. Fast forward a few months and we needed to upgrade some minor exterior areas for our hoses, they came out the next day and fixed everything in just a few hours. Well first the good. They got here the quickly and did quality work. The bad: The surprise billing at the end of the job. They quote me $125.00 per hour. They were pulled up and finish in 1 1/2 hour and charged me for two. OK fine. They replaced foot and a half of rubber hose cost $30.00. Very high price but OK. $15.00 for "parts off our truck" with no explanation of what those might be. The final straw, $175.00 for two shut off valves (for which you can buy for $10.00 for the single connection model $20.00 for the two connection model.) I refused to pay $175.00 for these parts. The plumber called his boss and his boss said "how much do you want to pay?" and offer to take $50.00 off. I said no. I got him to take off $100.00 Nice work but the pricing was a rip off. read more
