When we contacted Fraser, we were looking for a solution that would alter our Stove Gas fixture so we could push it back closer to the wall (new stove, bad fixture placement). Ladies beware! Called pic plumbing for a toilet install and it took them two several days to install. Granted some of the issue where not there fault like the city water but they took that opportunity to up sell their services. They dragged out the delays and suggested many more other services that were not needed to complete the job. I grew up with a family of certified plumbers and the on-site guy was trying tell me I needed this and that knowing damn well that was not needed to compete the job. Once he realized I know to much he than refused to complete the job and said that he would leave the cocking so I can finish the work. Wtf! Ladies! Ladies! I contacted PIC plumbing for the installation of 3 ultra-low flow toiletsv and replacement of a kitchen grinder back in November 2021. My original interactions with this company were very positive. PIC Plumbing quickly responded to my questions and quickly and professionally installed those 3 toilets, and removed the old toilets. The problem actually occurred afterwards in February. I noticed that sometimes the toilets would leak a bit of brown smelly liquid on the bottom side. After making sure that it wasn't people not hitting the bowl right (peeing), I called PIC Plumbing again to check out the problem. The operator forwarned me that this is not covered by their only 30 day warranty and that it would cost an unspecified amount. The operator did NOT give an estimate of range. I was ok with it. Javier quickly came out after confirming that it would cost $375. Javier quickly found that the wax ring was only present in pieces (improper installation?). He then quickly cleaned out the area, replaced the wax ring, reset and resealed the toilet. Upon telling him that it was PIC plumbing who previously installed the toilet, he ended up only charging me $300. To be clear, Javier did what he could - quickly and professionally. He deserves a 4 star rating! I am just disappointed that the operator did not take more ownership of the lacking work that was done previously, and PIC Plumbing as a company is not owning up. I am aware that by agreement there is only a 30 day warranty. But I am hoping that when it clearly is the improper installation of a wax ring the same company, would go the extra mile of making things right. I am acknowledging what Javier was doing. I am wondering if the business owner is willing to do more. As of now, I am forced to give PIC Plumbing 2 stars only which I hate doing. I had two service techs come out last Thursday to replace the hardware in two bathroom tub faucets. while nice they left with the hardware replaced but a leak now. Great communication and really honest with you up front about what will need to be done! Initially it was Nick who we were talking to about our upstairs toilet. We thought it was just some parts that needed to be replaced. Turns out, it was the whole entire toilet! And he was able to address what needed to be done without even coming to look and gave a rough estimate for the price. Unfortunately, the day we reached out we weren't able to actually have him come and fix it right away. Darn HOA rules. However, he was very patient and understanding as we tried to get everything situated with our complex in order for our toilet to be replaced. It took a few weeks but he was so kind to us the entire time and eager to help out. On the day we were finally able to get the green light for repairs, Leo ended up being the one to replace the toilet. He asked me a few questions and I only knew the answer to about 2 of them LOL He was not annoyed at all that I did not know the other answers so that made me feel better about being so unhelpful and ignorant. I had two no-shows for two other companies yesterday. One of which who texted at 11pm to say he will arrive this morning. I called PIC yesterday 4/13 when my 2nd appointment did not show. I was scheduled the next day (today) and Joshua arrived on time. In fact he called to inform my that he is available a little earlier than scheduled. THIS NEVER OCCURS- it seems professionalism and punctuality are completely foreign courtesies for most contractors/plumbers etc. So to say the level of service I received was outstanding is definitely an understatement. Josh was patient, punctual and professional. He recognized my acute anxiety when he gave the diagnosis of the problem. Unfortunately it was not a leak as I expected it was more damage and complex than I could imagine. Needless to say, The work could not be completed in this visit. But josh reassured me I'm in good hands and referred me to another individual (Robert) who explained the process of repairs. I contacted my homeowners insurance to file a claim and currently waiting for instruction of the next step. Referral: I was looking at replacing 2 shower faucets due to incorrect installation when I purchased the house a few years ago, I was looking to upgrade my faucets as well. I saw the reviews from Yelp and decide to get a quote. I send quote messages to 5 companies including PIC and I received a response within 10mins of my message from PIC. I researched a few other companies and they were the best of the others very reasonable and helpful for the price and service I wanted. I received a call and text that Joshua will be my plumber. Work: I received my quote invoice and schedule texts 48 hrs prior to schedule day. On the day of schedule appointment, I received a message that Joshua is coming at the schedule time. He arrived early and was ready to assess the situation. He followed all the COVID-19 protocols, wore a mask, gloves, maintain social distance. He said that the work can be done, during the check he notice my toilet needs to replace the flushing faucet and he said he can do it too, no extra charge. He need to order the faucets as my shower faucets were older versions so the work was delayed for about 10 days to get the new faucets. I received a message from PIC that parts received and ready to schedule the work for replacement. Joshua can over and replace all the faucets and replace the flushing faucet in my toilet. He tested all the faucets but noticed that it was still off, so he rechecked and found the gaskets were off so he added the gaskets and my shower faucets are good to go. I was offered a military discount and saved some money and received a Great service. Overall great experience even though the COVID environment it was very professional.
