I enjoyed our stay! Our room was spacious and the bathroom was beautiful. It's close to restaurants and stores. It's a quick 20 minute drive or ride share to South Beach and very close to the cruise ports also if that's what you have planned for your trip. The tram is not far and it takes you right to the Miami Airport. They offer a great bar for happy hour, and a great breakfast nook area where you can purchase snacks and even breakfast items like a burrito, breakfast sandwich, and coffees. The food was okay, not the best, but convenient for sure. The service was excellent. Everybody was very friendly. They provided a space to put your luggage when you check out if you want to grab breakfast or lunch in the area before you depart home or to your next location! We enjoyed our stay, and would come back for our next visit. read more

I don't usually write negative reviews, especially for a stay I didn't personally pay for, but the way this was handled afterward left a bad enough impression that it's worth sharing. I stayed here on March 21 after being bumped from a flight and given a voucher by American Airlines. At check-in, I worked with Ayesha, who was kind and helpful. I was traveling with a companion who also had a voucher, and I offered to share a single room with two beds to make things easier on the hotel. My intent was simple. Save the hotel the work of turning over two rooms, and still have the stay attached to my Bonvoy account as a Platinum member. What I didn't realize is that the hotel immediately checked me out of the system minutes after I checked in. I only discovered this the next morning when my folio showed that I had not stayed there at all. That's simply not true. I slept in the room. The morning staff told me to call later to have it fixed. When I did, I spoke with manager Elias Garcia. He told me voucher stays "never" receive Bonvoy credit. That would be fine if it were true, but it isn't. My travel companion, who was in the exact same situation, received full credit for the same night. When I pointed that out, his solution was not to fix my stay, but to suggest removing the points from my companion's account. That response was honestly pretty shocking. It came across as dismissive and, frankly, a bit condescending. I followed up directly with the General Manager, Kathlyn Tancrede, and never received a response at all. At the end of the day, this isn't about trying to game the system. The hotel was paid for the room. I stayed there. The record just doesn't reflect that because of how the reservation was handled on their end. I actually tried to do the hotel a favor, and it ended up costing me. What's frustrating is that this could have been a very easy fix, or at the very least a conversation. Instead, it was brushed off, and then ignored. For what it's worth, the front desk experience in person was positive, and the property itself was fine. But how a hotel handles issues after the fact matters just as much as the stay itself. The front desk staff were all amazing; every shift. Our room had very limited space and no place to put our suitcases. It's definitely a one person set-up. The bed was Marriott comfortable. The lighting in the bathroom and shower area was poor. Definitely could use daytime lighting. The wood door between the toilet and sink was heavy and hard to move. Our shower door didn't have a rubber strip therefore the water flooded the floor outside. We had to soak it up with bath towels. The lobby area was fun and festive. We enjoyed the games provided. DO NOT BOOK A ROOM AT THE Aloft Miami - Brickell because THEY HAVE BED BUGS. I was in Miami for an important Real Screen TV Conference so, I checked into the hotel on Sunday February 1, 2026 and I was awakened on February 2, 2026 at 5:00am in the morning itching. When I turned the light on I had red bites all over my left arm and I literally saw a bed bug marching across my pillow. I called the front desk and spoke with Stephanie who came up to my room and I showed her my arm and the bed bug. She immediately began saying that the hotel had to investigate. INVESTIGATE WHAT?? THE EVIDENCE WAS RIGHT IN HER FACE! She changed my room but I had to find another hotel to go to because I DID NOT WANT TO SPEND ANOTHER NIGHT IN THAT BED BUG INFESTED PLACE! The Aloft had the nerve to still charge me for the one night KNOWING they had bed bugs. I also lost thousands of dollars having to cancel meetings on Monday, February 2, 2026 in order to carve out time to move to another hotel. AND I HAD TO PAY ANOTHER $1,400 DOLLARS that I didn't have to spend, to stay at the new hotel. The Aloft didn't even provide me with transportation to the new hotel. The Aloft never offered to launder my clothes. THE ALOFT DOESN'T CARE ABOUT THEIR CUSTOMERS!! And further more, they really don't care about Black people. Great location. Easy to walk to the mall and surrounding areas. Was not given early checkin, and not called when room was ready. I am not sure what happened, but the gal that initially checked us in and took our luggage made some sort of mistake because we had to checkin again. I don't think she checked us in correctly, so that would make sense why we were not called when room was ready. No apologies from staff but stay was pleasant after checkin. Rooms a little dated but spacious. There is complimentary coffee and tea in the small room area behind checkin- they also sell snacks in that room. I believe valet was $40. read more

First things first- all the staff were great. No concerns there. Concerns were around the quality of the room. Room was very spartan with a living room with a well worn couch but no lighting. Bathroom was very small and definitely had some maintenance needs. Ended up with an adjoining room but the connecting door wouldn't lock which would have been concerning if there were guests next door. read more

We booked our trip to Miami last minute and ended up staying at the Aloft for 4 days. We didn't experience anything horrible at this hotel but the stay was just mediocre. Our room was spacious and the decor was lot of of bright colors. It wasn't really my aesthetic but it wasn't ugly. We had two closet space, a desk, a large sitting ottoman, a queen size bed, and a cute balcony. The bathrooms were cleaned. They used Dry Bar products which I liked. What I didn't like was during our stay our shampoo bottle which was inserted in the shower wall fell and they came and fixed it for us quick. There was also no place to put your extra things in the shower since it was just one big shower without any ledges. I slept fine but the beds are very very soft. The pillows were soft too. I can see some people not like that. It was a little low for me as well. It was not very raised. They also had small gym and there were some weights missing. Overall I didn't have any complaints. The location was pretty central and it was easy getting everywhere. It's about 15 minutes from the port. I found the staff to just basically do their job. They weren't overly welcoming or nice. They didn't really say hi to guest that come in and out. It was fine for a short stay. I believe their valet parking is $30 a day. read more

This was a brief stay during a holiday weekend, and I was prepared to give a 'free pass' and overlook any service challenges. There were none present throughout and, in fact, it was some of the most initially welcoming hospitality of any Marriott property in all of 2023. The location is convenient to many shopping/dining options, and a short walk to both MetroMover and Metrorail. No great views from any of the rooms, but I wasn't desiring a view, so zero issues there. The placement of mini fridge was unique for sure and I initially overlooked it. The water pressure on top floor was very weak but a quality shower can still be done. Elevators were working fine and in good shape. The pantry in lobby offers minimal options, but it still works. Ice is only available in the lobby. I might have given this hotel the fifth star had I not been concerned with a safety issue. read more

Knowing we would arrive around 4am after nearly 24 hours of driving, I called the hotel to make my reservation so they could code it properly in the computer. We arrived and not only did we not have a room, but they charged us for being a no show. Eventually they found a room for us to crash in for four hours (we were getting on a cruise), but double charged us. Then, after forgetting a set of air pods, it took them two hours to find them because when they did not clean the room for TWO days, they were reported as found on cleaning day so they weren't attached to us in the system. After following their instructions to purchase a shipping label and email it to them, it took them five days to send the air pods. The location is convenient to the cruise port but we won't be staying here again. read more

The rooms are clean and well-maintained, though they are smaller compared to other Aloft hotels in Miami due to the central downtown location. We reserved for two nights but left after one. Check-in was smooth enough and the staff were professional and courteous. The room was clean. The pillows are pretty good, soft, but substantial enough so as to not vanish under your head. Comforter was warm. The room was really spare and sterile. Nothing on the walls. No coffee table. Just a sofa bed and a weird rocking chair, and then the bedroom. We were in a suite with a bedroom and a small sitting room so that we had a pull-out bed for our son. The hotel knew we were coming with a kid and going to use that bed. There were no blankets, so we had to schlep downstairs and get bedding for him. The lighting in the room has two settings: off and ZOMG BLUE GIANT STAR. There weren't even table lamps; it was all overhead lighting except the two reading lights on the bed. I like bright lighting, but this was too much even for me. It was too bright for an operating room. This was the week in January 2025 when it snowed in New Orleans, so Miami was chilly. There was no heat. The next morning, we called down to ask about it and they said they'd send a maintenance man up; he never came. I took a shower that only got lukewarm at best. And so we found a different place for our second night. read more

I loved this hotel, from checking in to check out. I had to use the business center, the computers are fast internet connection is great. The staff is amazing, everyone was so accommodating and so polite and kind. The rooms are gorgeous with balcony and a great view of Miami. It's not near the water which is the only downfall but you're still in the center of a bunch of things. There's a 24-hour CVS, there's a Wendy's and other food places to eat within walking distance. And they also give away complimentary water which they keep colds in their fridge. The only disappointment is and there was no breakfast though it stated that they would be, they do have items for purchase but it is not a big option. The hotel smells so great still from the time you walk in and walking through it it has just this wonderful smell. And again shout out to the staff for being so accommodating and wonderful read more

Stayed here for a quick weekend getaway. It served its purpose. We needed somewhere clean and decent to stay and Aloft provided just that. Aloft is located in the heart of Brickell minutes away from anything you would possibly need. We had leftovers from dinner and we're able to go to the main level and use the microwave to warm it up. We discovered on our last day that they offer complimentary coffee. We used the valet service for $30 a day. It was much cheaper than parking in the street and using the PayByPhone app. Street parking has to be paid up until 4am and then again starting at 7am .. every hour is $3.25 ..so the valet was def a lot cheaper. read more

I'm a bit surprised at the current low rating for this Aloft as I had a great couple of days here. I flew in on Wednesday and stayed through Friday. The rate wasn't the cheapest not the most expensive I've paid for a stay at an Aloft. Considering it is Miami in April I think it was fair. Checking in and out was a breeze. My room was large and well cleaned. The bathroom was well scrubbed and my bed was well made. If the hotel was highly booked I couldn't tell. My sleep quality was high and I didn't hear another guest in the whole floor. Breakfast was included, which was a nice bonus for me. It was nice to have cereal and almond milk. The eggs were also decently made. TV was easy to use, there is ample street parking or valet if you drive. Lastly this is a good location. You are close to Wynnwood. SoBe is about 20-30 minutes away with traffic. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. read more

I so wanted to give it a five but a few things wrong. First some clarification. This is not a four star hotel compared to JW Marriott or Ritz. It is rated compared to a Courtyard or similar. To me it's a millennial minimalist courtyard with louder colors and peppier music. OK why only 4? Very minimal almost dorm like rooms. No microwave in room but they do offer a small fridge that will hold drinks or small takeout containers , and breakfast is light ala cart offerings that are a bit pricey. Lastly no ice machines on the floors or alternating floors. If you want ice you have to go all the way down to the lobby. The room is clean and the cleaning staff polite and thorough. The west side can get a little noisy with Miami Fire Station 4 being one block away but the guys do a good job of avoiding sirens later in the night. Why did I rate it so high? Staff and location mostly. The desk and cleaning staff were awesome. Location, you are one block away from the metro mover( free), metro rail, trolley (free) pick up across the street You are 2.5 blocks from the Brickell party scene (Blue Martini) and a variety of restaurant 1.5 blocks from a grocery store. Pool side sun is limited with it being at ground level surrounded by tall building and parking is expensive but it is Miami. A good short stay hotel. Not sure it's good for longer stays.i read more

One of my best friends wanted to celebrate her birthday and we got a good deal on some rooms here. There were 8 of us and we got 3 rooms. The lobby was pretty nice, modern and sleek. They had a bar, some TVs and a pool table. The room itself was decent. We had a room on the 14th floor so there was a nice view from our balcony (especially at night). The bed was super comfortable and the ac was really cold (thankfully). There was no self parking, however, and valet was $25 a night but there was no other option. The location wasn't really near any good going out areas but it was still worth it. read more

Came to Miami for Miami Music Week 2019 and had heard good things about this hotel from my friends who had previously stayed here before. It also didn't hurt that I managed to score an AMAZING deal for six nights. Seriously, if I told you how much the room was you wouldn't believe me. Anyways, we had a block of four rooms with two queens. We elected to take an accessible room since that guaranteed us a walk-in shower. Pros and cons of our room: Pros: 1. Really spacious room, although a lot of it was dedicated to the front entrance of the room where a lot of it seemed like wasted space. The part of the room itself with the beds could've used the space, but it's definitely NOT a small room at all. 2. Every room has a balcony, although your mileage may vary on your view. We decided to pass on the corner view room since we didn't want to be bothered by traffic. But they definitely got the winning view compared to us. Our view was...of a back alley lol. 3. Beds were really comfortable, never had a bad night of sleep here. Cons: 1. Lack of lighting on the wall where the TV was just seemed like insanely bad design to me. I know W hotels are supposed to have a modern twist to them. No, the lack of lighting just made the room a lot darker than necessary. 2. Not impressed by the shower drainage situation. I knew we were going to have issues when I walked into the bathroom and there were towels ready to block water from coming out. Yeah, after a few days, we had to change those towels. I know it's an accessible room, but come on. I'm actually surprised that the flooding wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. 3. Again, I know it's because they're to have the modern flair. But god damn, it was really annoying to only have one central bedstand. Ended up having to smash a bunch of pillows together to create my own "bedstand." The main reason our stay was so memorable was due to the amazing staff here. Francine and Jonathan both were on top of everything we needed (doesn't hurt to have Platinum Elite status!), and made sure all our needs were met. Staff seriously made our stay way here better, and I'm really thankful to everyone here for treating us well for our week's stay here. Another major plus is that the hotel has an amazing location. Publix was right next door, so it was easy for us to grab supplies for the week. There's a huge mall that's within walking distance too, which actually helped a lot because I had to make an emergency run to Apple to fix my camera. And it's super close to the highway...by the time I was done here, I basically knew how to get back to my own hotel because of all the Lyfts I had taken LOL. Aloft Miami Brickell is definitely a dated hotel when it comes to its rooms, but it makes up for it with its staff and location. Considering the price we paid for it, I can't complain whatsoever about my stay here. Wouldn't mind staying here again if I ever decide to come back to Miami! read more

We stayed here for Art Basel weekend and while the location is good/easy to get to spots, there was little else that impressed. For starters, the front desk seems to not be well managed. It took far too long both to check in and check out since we wanted to have our luggage held both times. And what we noticed is that other guests were as equally agitated by the lack of service. The lobby is meh and so was our room. rather than feeling like a hotel the overall vibe felt stifled. On the flip side, the view of downtown from the room was nice. While the bed was comfortable the bathroom was small and there wasn't any sort of mini bar or snacks in the room. In short, this wasn't up to quality and service of other Aloft hotels we've stayed at, so I'd skip this if I needed to book in this area in the future. read more

This was another Aloft Hotel that I had high hopes for but in the end I was kind of disappointed. Like all hotels downtown in major cities, you do have to pay for parking. When we were sent up to our room on the 10th floor, it was pretty warm in there. I guess the air conditioning had been running the whole time but things were still just not cooling down. The room is pretty cool-looking as it was a suite. The bedroom is very separate from the living room with the bathroom in between and you have two balconies off of each side. That was something I've never seen before but I was really glad to experience. We called maintenance to have them fix the air conditioning and a guy came down to do so. He didn't speak any English but he mimed to us to wait at least 10 minutes. It actually got warmer in the 10 minutes so we had to switch rooms. The desk staff wasn't the friendliest at accommodating our request but we switched rooms and ended up in a room just a floor down that had a much better air conditioning. This is a great place with nice rooms but I just feel like a staff could have been a little bit friendlier. Usually when someone is inconvenienced in a hotel and they are paying good money to stay there, one just needs to make more of an effort to be friendlier. That's all I'm saying. read more

I've stayed at a ton of Marriott properties, and this was the worst I've been to. Definitely would not stay there again. Pros: -nice people working there -balconies are great -free coffee and water bottles -good location Cons: -smells like smoke everywhere -pool is freezing - you basically can't even use it -got stuck in the elevator twice -got locked out of my room and no one was able to get in for 30 min -was not well maintained - for example, the toilet paper roll was broken so the roll kept falling off -rooms were not very nice - cheap looking Overall would not recommend. The cleanliness was laughable. Actually disgusting. It was clear they hadn't swept the floor in multiple stays. The corners of the room were full of crap and most importantly there were long hairs and fake eyelashes all over the floor by the bed. And a clump of hair in the shower that did not belong to me. I will never stay here again. If a Marriott representative is reading this I would love to speak and discuss a credit of sorts to my account and also I think you should have a discussion with this place because I can't imagine a place with such low cleanliness standards (especially coming out of a pandemic?) would help your reputation. read more

There's nothing special here. The rooms feel like something of a combo between a dorm room and a prison cell. Furnishings are boring and the lights are super bright and in all the wrong places. Old school AC with the temp lights out so you can't tell what it's set to. People can see directly into the apartments 50 feet across the way so there is no sense of privacy either. Everything feels dark and claustrophobic after you close the blinds. Just not a great stay and I'm glad we were only there for one night because I couldn't imagine spending a whole week there. read more

Came here for valentines weekend. And the service was horrible don't know if it's due to covid. But at this point we can't keep blaming covid . Refrigerator went out requested a new one took forever for that. Also ask for house keeping to come in and clean up the room they took forever for that as well. Now i understand the whole short staff story due to covid and etc but if you all would like to maintain being open. You should do better with that type of stuff. Had to keep going downstairs for towels. It was just a big inconvenience. For it to be a Marriott chain hotel i am very disappointed. And for the price i paid very disappointed. After a long search for hotels to stay the night after a basketball game we chose Aloft. For the price it's not a bad pick. The room is pretty basic and the amenities are scarce BUT it's not a deal breaker compared to the pros. This hotel is in a GREAT location as far as access. 1-4 blocks from the free metro mover, Mary brickell village, and brickell City centre. Customer service was good as we had a small issue with our room as something broke. They weren't able to fix it that day so they had a new room ready for us immediately. We were able to valet our car for $25 which is lent bad compared to some other areas in Miami and other cities. So new that in mind when you are pricing the hotels out. The good thing about the valet you are able to come in and out as many times as you want for $25. We were able to get a room with a balcony which had a nice view of downtown and Marlins park. There's a full service bar in the lobby with a pool table and some TVs and couches to hang out. I would definitely stay here again due to price and location. If you have ever stayed in Miami you know that hotels are expensive. This hotel though minimal is a great value. It's a trendy modern hotel with enough to keep you comfortable. Besides you didn't come to Miami to stay inside of your hotel I hope. read more

I have been to other Alofts so I know about the bat specials and their bright decor. Check-in was sweet! We were there post cruise around 1030-11am but check-in usually isnt until 4pm; our rooms were ready by NOON (YAY)! I had some minor issues: 1) the air filter in our room could have stood a change because there was a stale smell with the AC running; this room didnt have a pop of color either. Everything was grey and white so it was a little boring & cold 2) the wall with the tv mounted on it was so huge that the TV needed to be a little bigger (forgot to take pics; post cruise & was exhausted) The only major issue was the barking dog the following morning. Any noise made, we heard the dog bark. He was loud enough as if he was in our room..lol! He was obviously not a toy dog (and yes I am a dog person before you guys attack me). Dogs were probably OK to stay but they need to be on a different floor with other pet owners (just a thought)‍. read more
