This aloft is nice enough to get you ear plugs as you're located next to an in n out and it's a college town in Tempe. I'm a fan of the aloft Marriot brand. While they never have much storage, they always do a hell of a job servicing the rooms at these chains. Aloft for the win! Cheers!

We chose Aloft Tempe because it's dog-friendly, and it truly lived up to that! There's a $50 per night pet fee, per room, perfect for us and our two small dogs. Behind the pool area, there's even a well-maintained grassy spot where dogs can go off-leash, complete with poop bags provided. There's a small parking fee (about $10/night), and a few casual dining options right outside, including In-N-Out Burger, which made meals easy and convenient. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, creating a warm, welcoming atmosphere from check-in to check-out. Rooms were spacious, clean, and comfortable with all the expected Aloft amenities. We especially appreciated the blackout blinds for a good night's sleep, and they even provide disposable earplugs--a thoughtful touch since the hotel is near the highway and you might hear some noise. The pool area is small, but it's big enough for a few laps if you want to swim. There's also a rinsing shower, and sunbeds available if it's not too hot to relax outside. Overall, this was a great stay for both us and our dogs--a solid option if you're looking for comfort, convenience, and genuinely pet-friendly service in Tempe.

Stayed here back in February when I was attending Innings Festival. Not sure what else was going on in the area because pretty much all the hotels were booked up and sold out, and this Aloft was no exception. The goods: super close to the airport; it took maybe 15 minutes from the airport to get to the hotel. There's an In 'n Out burger right across the street from the hotel so if you're hungry, you could just walk there, and this hotel was only a couple of miles away from the festival location and had plenty of electric scooters outside the hotel to get you to the festival. The hotel location was pretty close to pretty much everywhere else I wanted to check out while in town. Check in process was pretty easy. We came in kind of early and even though the hotel was sold out, they accommodated us and allowing us to check in early by giving us one of the rooms that had been cleaned up. Obviously, no upgraded was given but I was planning on staying away from the hotel the majority of the time anyway, so this was no biggie. The bad? Paper-thin walls! Lots of noises can be heard from the hallway while I was in the room. There's a bar downstairs but It was closed the whole time I was here. At least I'd never seen it operational while I was in the hotel. Would I stay here again? Sure. But not at the $300+/night they were charging for the duration I stayed here. Luckily, I was using my Marriott Points to stay here so I didn't have to pay for all that.

The staff were some of the nicest I have ever encountered at a hotel. They were always friendly, from check-in to checkout. They were also able to recommend places to eat in the area. The bed was extremely comfortable. The room was spacious and clean. I loved that the hotel uses Dry Bar products but my room had two body washes and a conditioner instead of a shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. I look forward to staying at this location again.

First time staying here, I picked this hotel since it was close to my office. Great and conveniently located and about 25 minute drive from the airport. It has has a nice ambiance when you walk in, friendly staff and bar area is pretty cool. The room was nice and spacious and a nice view of the pool. I also liked that each unit has a bible which is something you don't see in other hotels. The only minus is a little more attention to cleaning and dusting the room.

The fourth floor looks terrible -- there are empty, broken-down rooms and the hallways feel neglected. The carpet on both the fourth floor and first floor is in very bad shape and looks like it hasn't been maintained in a long time. Inside the rooms, the flooring is actually popping up in areas, which makes the whole place feel worn out and poorly maintained. Overall, the hotel just looks very old and neglected now. The elevators are another concern. They make loud noises and honestly sound like they could break at any moment. There is also an unpleasant smell in parts of the building. When you get off the elevator and walk toward the lobby, you can see construction going on, which only adds to the messy and rundown feeling of the property. This place used to be a great stay when we first came here, but now it's honestly pretty shameful to see how much it has deteriorated. The location and concept are great, but the hotel clearly needs serious maintenance and attention.

I came here for a really large work party and the best way to describe the ambiance was a nice wedding reception without a wedding. We had beautifully decorated tables with assigned seats, fun music, a bar, and photo ops. The drinks were good - in my opinion they were pretty standard event cocktails. Definitely tasty, but not craft cocktail level drinks. When it came time to eat and we all went through the buffet, I had pretty low expectations since it is a buffet to feed over 100 people. I have to say though, the food was really and truly wonderful. Best event food I've had hands down. Overall if you're looking for a fun place for your next large party this is a great option. I'd be happy to have a reason to go back!

We were anxious about the price, but it was absolutely worth it to have the details taken care of for you. From start to finish, she went above and beyond to make sure every detail was perfect. Casey is extremely thorough, communicates clearly, and takes all the stress out of the process. Our wedding weekend was such a success thanks to her dedication and hard work -- she truly made us feel like we were the only couple that mattered that weekend. Her knowledge of South Asian multicultural weddings was impressive (honestly, she knew more than I did!). We couldn't have asked for a better planner and can't recommend Casey and Bloom and Blueprint enough!

That said it's easy to let hubris kick in and think "throw a big party... how hard could that be? Maybe I'll do it myself"... DON'T. Of all the investments you will make into your wedding the choice of hiring a wedding planner might be the most important. Stranger yet is that you need to make this choice up front, but the true value is back-end loaded as you get closer to the event. Be patient. When you are feeling the pressure of pulling off one of the most important events of your lifetime and ensuring your 150 person guest list has an amazing time and that a venue you've never been to before beyond the tour is everything you wanted and more on the day, in your pictures, and in your memories, Bloom and Blueprint will be there. Casey was an absolute joy to work with. Up front she put in the work to help put us in contact with prospective vendors, give us guidance on the process, do some budget planning, and get some input on what we were looking for and generally give us an overview of what to expect along the way. She adjusted her style to ours letting us be as involved as we wanted to be and also present for anything we needed when we had questions. The truly heavy lifting started about 3-4 months out from the wedding date as the design meetings came about and it was time to start putting together a show-flow. If we had been left to do any of the design ourselves it would likely have been nice, but what Maggie and her team did was nothing short of stunning, and would have been impossible for us to come up with even with years to plan. We and our guests loved how original, fun, elevated, and high quality the decorations and florals were. We had a 14 hour day of ceremony, lunch, cocktail hour, dinner, and reception. Our requests were that we wanted it to feel effortless and unhurried to us and our guests. We wanted time to eat the food, drink the drinks, dance, and actually hang out with our guests. We didn't want to be ushered from place to place to check all the wedding boxes, we just wanted to have a good time on our wedding day with our favorite people. Casey organized everything in such a way that it felt seamless. Organizing the many vendors, working with the venue and advocating on our behalf, making sure none of the little details went overlooked and fighting any fires that come up to reduce the stress of the last minute unwelcome surprises. A story to highlight this was that one of our linens for the table coverings had become a central template for our program designs and seating chart etc. On the Thursday before our Saturday Wedding Casey and Maggie discovered that the linens were stuck in Chicago and were at risk of not arriving on time. Casey spent hours visiting other linen stores around AZ to find an alternate vendor, but the linens were proprietary to the original shop. In order to make sure their problem did not become our problem, Casey called me with a solution: they'd swap the tables and then do a custom wrap on the tables with the print. It turned out better and more impressive than if the linens had arrived as planned and there were no surprise expenses. We could not be happier with the way our wedding turned out and it is thanks in large part to Casey and Maggie.
