This place is just ok. Many yelp reviews complain about the small portions of fish and sadly we experienced the same thing (even when we paid for an extra portion of ahi tuna). The customer service was pleasant, the facility was clean, with 3-4 booths inside. We ordered four poke bowls and, at almost $17/each, it wasn't a cheap meal. The bowls are 75% rice, small amounts of protein, and various toppings you can choose. I tried to order a 50/50 split with brown rice and lettuce and received white rice instead. There wasn't enough sauce to get to the rice on any of the bowls. This was our last time eating here. read more

Stopped by here yesterday to grab a boba tea. The young girl taking my order was very nice and the price of the tea was the usual price at other restaurants.... HOWEVER, the restaurant itself was disgustingly dirty, greasy and very warm with poor ventilation. Upon entering, the floor was sticky, tables and booths looked greasy, and the air smelled rancid. While waiting for my order, I noticed a huge rolling air conditioning unit in the middle of the dining room that looked even dirtier than the floor, which was not running despite being a very warm day. I felt terrible for the employees and gave a good tip, but this place needs to be inspected by the health department. These employees should have better working conditions. read more

There are two poki bowl places in Santa Rosa and this one is my favorite. The ambiance is not as nice as the other place. It's a bit dingy inside. But the poki bowls are bigger and better. Avocado is standard, not an extra charge. Good fish selection that includes tuna and hamachi. Lots of things to go in your bowl including Tamago, cucumber salad, edamame, roe, seaweed salad, tofu and crispy onions;steamed rice or sushi rice and/or salad as base. Good selection of sauces, too. Ordered the Sukiyaki Ramen for $18.50 ($21.30 after tip). Diabolically overpriced for the quality of food. I'm open to lighter flavors, but this dish was bland, and lacked any actual flavor. The texture of the beef was tough and chewy, and it felt like I was gnawing on rubber. A friend recommended this place and I was pleasantly surprised at how good the food was! The portions are fairly large but the price is also higher than what I expected to pay for a bowl ($17). Food was fine. Service was not great. Me and my partner were sitting outside waiting for our food, the man told us 10 minutes. It was extremely hot inside so outside waiting felt better. All of the sudden we hear our number being screamed through the door and when I went inside the heavier man with a light pink shirt with glasses proceeded to yell at me and stated " your number 31, look at your receipt, number 31" his tone was awful and yelled in front of other customers. Treat your customers better. If you said 10 minutes and it hasn't even been 10 minutes. Don't yell at me.wont be coming again. I do not understand why this place is not rated at least four stars. I eat here regularly, when I'm in Santa Rosa and staying at a hotel in its relative proximity, and have never been disappointed. I literally eat here every single dinner (and some lunches) when I have the chance. It is very tasty, quick, affordable and the staff are always friendly and welcoming. I usually get pickup to take back to the hotel and it is always ready on time and handed to me by someone with a smile and I'm always asked if I need silverware, etc. It's the little things that matter and ensure you leave happy. I would highly recommend stopping here if you need something delicious, healthy and quick. Especially if you're a poke, sushi, bento type of foodie and on the move. I have been coming here for THE longest time! I have always loved it & it's been my go-to for poke The last time I ordered here it had sooooo much sauce I couldn't even taste anything else . I reported it & the cashier said I wasn't the first one to complain . I stopped by today to give it another try & this time I requested the sauce on the side just in case BUT now it was the rice . It immediately smelt bad . Therefore unable to eat this meal either . I also ordered Boba & sushi . They forgot to add the Boba straw & the rice in the sushi was hard practically uncooked It's disappointing this place seems to be going downhill read more

After one time here, I would definitely never go back. It's a terrible value for the money. The food is just so so, we got a Poké bowl and a roll with tuna and avocado, both were marginally acceptable. The $18 Poké bowl barely had any meat in it. We said something about it, but they just shrugged. They don't care. If you look on the menu photo in here you'll see that this bowl used to be $12 not long ago now it's $18. The only thing is they didn't make it bigger. They just charge 60% more. The roll was very average mediocre at best and not worth the eight dollars. Noticed on the menu here in yelp that the rolls used to be five dollars I would say that's more of a fair value. I spent $40 between me and my daughter and when we left, we both agreed that it felt like it was just a snack. And not even that good to boot. The 60% price boost is totally unacceptable and makes this place on par with much nicer restaurants around town in terms of cost. It feels like a panda or fast food at best anyway so I recommend not going here. They don't ask if you're gonna eat the food there they just give it to you in plastic bags with to go plastic forks. So you sit down at a table with all this plastic that you don't need. What a waste. The Boba tea was the best part but not redeeming at $6. Because they didn't respond when we complained about the food, they get a middle finger zero and I would never come back or recommend it to anybody - big huge fail. read more

Ahhh, this one is hard! I want to give it 3 stars but when you know what to expect, it delivers. Is the fish amazing and fresh, no not at all. But at those prices you don't expect fresh off the boat seafood. It serves a need, are you hungry for something lighter (like sushi/poke) but don't want to break the bank, perfect, come here. Do you have young children that are interested in sushi but again, don't want to break the bank to find out if they like it? Come here. We live just around the corner so the convince definitely boosts the score. I think for poke, T4 across town is better, but their hours are tough and it's more expensive. We have gone here for quick meals when it's late and don't want something heavy, or when one of our sons who loves seafood earns a date day. Overall like I said I am torn, stay away from the hamachi, the different poke sauces are a bit bland... But and it's a big but, for the price it fits a need! read more

I've been waiting for more Poke bowl options to open up in Santa Rosa! I'm not sure if I just got lucky or if this is every time. But both bowls were so full of the proteins and add ons, it had a good amount of rice but not too much rice! The service we nice and the amount of avocado they give is a full scoop without charging extra! The only thing I would change is that they only have normal crab salad, and I like spicy crab salad. My husband and I decided to check them out a couple weeks ago, we've never had Poke bowl before and was interested. I have to tell you, it was delicious and affordable. The Thai milk tea was almost $5, but you get a tall cup of it and it tasted great! A couple weeks later I decided to treat my friend to it. I decided to do an online order so it would be ready when I got there. I said in the order that I would be picking it up at 2. I called at 1 to make sure my card went though and they said it did and it was ready to be picked up. This is the only thing I didn't like. I had put down 2pm but they went ahead and made it over an hour early. So when I got there, the food was already cold. The food was great as ever and my friend loved it but for now on, I will only do an online order when I am on my way to pick it up. I've learned there isn't many great Poke places around here - or even asian restaurants, so I was excited to hear that a Poke place opened! S E R V I C E: They're taking the right precautions for COVID-19. Only a couple of people are allowed inside to order, while everyone has to wait outside. To order, they have a couple of stations where you can check mark on a piece of paper what you want in your poke bowl. They have clean pens accessible, and all staff are wearing gloves, and masks. F O O D: I ordered a poke bowl with double tuna scoops, and literally every side option available haha, except I had salad instead of rice. The bowl was a pretty good portion size, I just wish the spicy tuna came in chunks instead of it being mushed. The regular tuna was tasty and not fishy at all. I also ordered a boba drink as well because...you always need some boba!! Unfortunately I was underwhelmed with the flavor of the tea. The boba itself was cooked perfectly though. Because these people did not give me any meat on my bowl. You go to poke to get fresh fish. They gave me... fresh rice. Bland garbage. Like barely a scoop. We ordered food and a coke. We wanted the coke while we waited for the food to come out, so we showed the younger girl working the register our receipt so we could grab it. She shoos the receipt away with her hands, so we grab the coke. Then, when we grab our food... she asks for us to pay for the coke. So I show her the receipt again and remind her that we were trying to show her the receipt for this reason and that she had refused to look at it. Then she said something about the situation being confusing... I thought the only confusing thing about the situation was her lol. This a very new restaurant and I was very pleased with this restaurant! This is a grab and go concept almost like Chipotle, but with Poke Bowls, Sushi, Tempura, Mochi, etc. I enjoyed my poke bowl, toppings are unlimited and I like the sauces on it. Sorry lost a star from last week! I decided to order online to see if there's any difference and there's a big one! I had three items that I didn't ask for Corn and tofu And I was missing the two made ingredients for this dish which was wasabi and Ginger!!! So sticking with my first review great yummy tasting salad but definitely skimpy on the fish!! I watched them make the last part of it as I walked in and they used a little small ice cream scooper which I believe would be 1 ounce scoop...But please correct me if I'm wrong? Simple ordering systems are great when the ordering process is complex. With so many choices, it's nice to be able to mull things over on your own time and not feel like you are holding everyone up. We got two bowls - one katsu on brown rice and one spicy tuna on sushi rice. The katsu was warm and hearty, and the spicy tuna was light and fresh. The milk teas were refreshing. (Just know: The half sweet is nothing like an American palette's version of half sweet.) I really liked the jasmine tea version.
