Nice clean restaurant. It looks larger inside than I would have thought. They were busy and it smelled great. The employee took my to-go order was very nice and the menu looked extensive. My son ordered the Tonkotsu Ramen with pork and spicy broth and I ordered the chicken ramen with mild broth. They give you a decent amount of food. When I got home, we did a quick taste test of the spicy and mild broth. There was not a lot of flavor difference and both were kinda bland. Broth is what makes the Ramen and it was good, not great. The rest of the meal was good and I had enough to eat the next day. Noodles were cooked perfectly and all the ingredients tasted fresh. I will try their Hawaiian food next and see how that is. I might give it some time and try the ramen again as you never know with a new business whether they had a rush and had to use broth that wasn't done yet to fill the order.

Fantastic Hawaiian dishes. Huge portions and very tasty food. Service is friendly and welcoming. I will continue to visit this place every time I'm in Santa Rosa, CA. Fried octopus is a treat and a must explore and unique dish. Katsu chicken, teriyaki chicken with Kalbi beef short ribs are some of my favorites! Everything on the menu is a treat! Bring your appetite and be ready to take plenty of food home for another meal. Love this place!

Brand new and they've already hit the ground running! You can't miss the numerous 'now open' flags by the street. It is a casual spot in a little strip mall. They have actual table service which we appreciated. A sweet server brought us water and there were menus under glass on our table. There were many take-out orders going out the door and during our time there, the tables quickly filled up. We were seated in a comfortable booth for our meal. For our appetizer we tried their karaage (fried chicken pieces). It came piled high and the chicken pieces were generous in size. It arrived at our table piping hot and crispy. We also ordered the curry ramen and Hawaiian plate with short ribs, BBQ beef and brown rice. I had requested medium spicy for the ramen and it is the kind of spicy that hits you in the back of the throat. The flavors had depth and warmth. The noodles were cooked perfectly. They also gave me three thick pieces of the roasted pork, bamboo shoots and an egg. I requested no onions and they got my order correct. The Hawaiian plate of beef was a generous portion and we brought the leftovers home. The kitchen was very busy the whole time and the one server was very efficient assisting everyone. I can't wait to return and try other items on their extensive menu. Located next door to Bubblecups, they replaced the Indian restaurant, Taj Café. Parking is very tight but we parked along the adjoining street.

The customer service is excellent. Food was ready within 5-10min. I'm very happy with the quality and prices. It's a very nice place to relax and eat.

Quick service and good portions for the price. Chicken was moist and tender. Great menu selection and I'll be back on a cold day to try a hot bowl of ramen.

Second time here and it was still great food, amazing prices , clean and nicely decorated and very friendly staff. The portions are like 3x anywhere else.

Inside it was bright and clean. Much better than the previous place. My Mom and I stopped in for a quick lunch. The waitress came over still chewing her food from her lunch. Didn't observe any hand washing so I'm not sure if she did before taking our order. We shared a poke bowl, musubi and I ordered some ramen to go for my husband. The food came out quick. The poke had alright flavor but the tuna tasted off to me. We let them know and they fixed it. Although the waitress did have to let us know that it was fresh and tasted fine to them countless times. I had to ask for sauce for the musubi, they were tasty. And the soup was hot even when I got home. There were some good flavors but over all my husband said he would not get it again. Although I would not get the poke again, I would go and try more of their Hawaiian food. Prices were great and staff was nice.

I wasn't aware of this grand opening but I was in the area and decided to go in. I was looking at the food on the storefront windows as my mouth began to water. I felt a vibe from the moment I walked in, it was where I needed to be. The sweet lady who took my order was multitasking, I could tell she knew what she was doing with a smile on her face. I ordered the garlic shrimp with chicken, it came with a side of macaroni salad, rice, broccoli and cabbage underneath. I will be eating this tomorrow as well. They serve you large portions. There were people dining in along with people coming in to pick up their food. This place looks like success already.

Got delivery on a busy night. Was excited to try a new place. Everything was packaged well for delivery. I ordered the beef ramen and added tofu. I am super picky about meat and don't enjoy it if it's fatty. The meat was flavorful and good though I did have to pick out some pieces. The broth was delicious! You can pick your own spice level when ordering which is nice. I also got a side of Mac salad because I love Hawaiian style macaroni salad. Also, super yummy. Portion sizes were great for the price and I have enough for tomorrow. Definitely will try again and check it out in person.

Came here for dinner. This place is in a tiny strip mall off Piner. Ok amount of parking spots. They have a wide selection on their menu from poke, ramen, Hawaiian bbq plates, and Japanese curry! I ordered the Hawaiian Mix BBQ Plate, my husband ordered the pork curry katsu, and we ordered the spam masubi for my son! Everything was cooked and prepared very well and tasted great! My mix plate came with chicken, beef, and beef short rib, two scoops of rice and one of Mac salad! My husband really enjoyed his pork Katsu and said that this place might be his go to place when he's having a Japanese curry craving! My son mowed down his masubis too! The portion size of everything is VERY GENEROUS! I ate half and look forward to the second half for lunch tomorrow. The lady serving us was also managing the take out orders but the service was still great! I was looking at their catering prices and they also seem reasonable! Will be back for sure! Overall 4.5/5

This place is excellent! The rice, chicken, lumpia, fish, Mac salad. Literally everything was cooked to perfection. We also ordered Malasadas and they reminded me sort of Leonard's on Oahu I mean it's close anyway! The portions were huge too!! Great value for the money. The staff was super friendly. Our order was ready within 15 min as promised. The restaurant itself was clean and welcoming. Great artwork on the walls too. Note: there is actually two missing from this box of Malasadas in the photo we couldn't wait to eat a couple!

    7. Kalua Pork Mini Meal

The price range awesome for the amount of food, was really well cooked and flavor was great! The staff was super helpful getting a high chair and ambiance was quiet but lively. The curry was and chicken was crisped to perfection and the curry tasted home made with the perfect amount of spice. The pork though it was plain to the eye the flavor exploded in the mouth! The sesame balls were so good too! Just the fact we got mini meal and the portions were so large! Still can't get over it, will be coming again Wall art is super nice too

If you plan on visiting during the weekend, expect a wait. The line can get pretty long, but after eating here multiple times, I can confidently say it is worth every minute. Some restaurants are all hype, but Curry Hyuga earns every bit of the praise it receives. The katsu is consistently excellent. Whether you order the chicken or the pork, the breading is always perfectly crisp while the meat stays incredibly juicy and tender. That level of consistency is something I really appreciate because every visit has been just as good as the last. The curry is what keeps me coming back. It is rich, comforting, and packed with layers of flavor. Every bite has a depth and complexity that makes it stand out from your typical Japanese curry. It is the kind of meal that leaves you thinking about it long after you have finished. One thing I also really enjoy is the atmosphere. The restaurant strikes a great balance between being lively and comfortable. There is enough energy in the room that it feels welcoming and full of life, but it is still quiet enough to have an easy conversation without having to raise your voice. I often find myself stopping in for a solo meal when I am in the area, and it is the perfect place to enjoy a peaceful lunch or dinner by myself.
