    Spicy Tuna Roll

The restaurant doesn't have much seating but the menu is quite big! I ordered the Shoyu Ramen & a spicy tuna roll. I found the tuna roll to not be spicy at all but that could be based on spice tolerance. The ramen just didn't have much flavor. Overall, everything I ordered tasted okay. It was packed when I visited with many people coming in placing take out and dine in orders, and my food came out quickly!

This is the worst "ramen" I've ever tasted. The pork is dryer than the Sahara desert. The broth is basically water and the flavor is non existent. How does this place have 4 stars? I think I would've been happier eating cup noodles.

We stopped by for a quick lunch on a Tuesday. I've been wanting to try this place for a while now. We walked in and the restaurant was pretty empty. Overall the restaurant is very clean. You order at the front register and then they bring your food over. My ramen was not very impressive and to be quite honest did not taste very fresh or good at all. The pork smell and taste was very strong and not ideal. The pork belly was not fresh and tough to chew. The chicken bits we received were good, they were probably the best part. Overall the experience was just okay and I probably wouldn't be back.

Pretty basic like top ramen with added ingredients. Staff was nice but could have made this at home

Hands down best ramen in town! I just moved back to town and have missed this place so much. The menu items are priced so well for the portion size, always friendly staff working, and a cozy dining area. The Raku Ramen with pork belly is my go to! 10/10!

Service was slow I ordered only shrimp tempura roll, seemed stale, the wasabi was like thick paste. I hate to think it's because my tip was low, which I find extremely annoying when you haven't even had your food yet that you're supposed to tip..

Came in on a Sunday afternoon around 1:30PM and it wasn't very busy. You order and pay at the counter up front, and the food is then brought to your table. Seating is self-service, as are water, utensils, napkins, and condiments. There is also an area to return dishes after eating. The service was friendly and the interior is cute. I ordered the salmon katsu rice bowl and was unfortunately disappointed with the portion size. The dish came with a lot of rice and one slim slice of salmon. For a $20 entree it was disappointing that this was the amount of protein given. The flavors were actually quite good, the sauces paired well, and the panko breading had a nice crunch to it. I just feel weird paying that much for such a small amount of the main item in the dish. If I had finished all the leftover rice I probably would've been plenty full, but I left unsatisfied. My boyfriend got the shoyu ramen with pork belly, which also fell flat for both of us. The broth was kind of bland and just didn't taste like typical shoyu ramen broth. The noodles had a pretty good texture and thickness, but pork belly was also just okay and not too flavorful.

The food is always really yummy and fresh tasting here! The staff are polite and the food comes out fairly quick. The location is in a good area and the restaurant is clean and pleasant!

I love this spot! Finally got a picture! The steak ramen is amazing!!!! I 10/10 recommend. Never disappoints, service is always great, the staff is friendly and accommodating. They are also always on top of picking up after tables. This spot always has a mellow vibe to it, I come here probably 2x a month if not more. Fave ramen!

The food was delicious and super yummy. Food came fast. The food came with really good portions, especially the Ramen. I love the music they were playing. The service was amazing.

Omg this place is the best! I strongly recommend to anyone who is looking for some good food around this area! The ambience and vibe is just pure magical Mina, a employee here, is the best! Very kind! If the manager of this restaurant is reading this please give her a raise and a promotion!!

The weather is cold & stormy and I wanted a nice bowl of ramen to warm me up. Raku Ramen has a vegetarian/vegan-friendly ramen listed on the menu so I decided to try it out! You walk in, order at the counter, then take a number and find a seat anywhere you'd like inside. Help yourself to utensils, condiments, water, and to-go boxes on the table to the side. The menu is split, half ramen & half sushi rolls. I did not try any of the sushi so cannot speak on the quality, but I did notice a few vegan/vegetarian rolls on the menu. I ordered the steamed edamame (the stir-fried one has oyster sauce in it so not veggie-friendly) and veggie miso ramen made vegan. They swapped the egg noodle out for rice noodles and there is no egg. I loved the creamy miso broth! I thought it had excellent flavor and was not too overwhelming or salty. It is topped with broccoli, spinach, corn, bean sprouts, seaweed, and tofu. I saw another reviewer mention they requested the tofu fried and I would like to try that next time. However, I'm personally not a big fan of the rice noodle, they got soggy too quickly and broke apart. I enjoy non-egg yellow noodles more for ramen bowls, but I understand that it is probably more difficult & expensive to source. I'm just a tad bit spoiled by the ramen shops in San Francisco (recognizing that they are also much more pricey!). However, for a quaint quick-service style restaurant in Santa Rosa, I think this is a great option for the neighborhood and for those who want a comforting bowl without having to drive to the big city and spend the big bucks. When we arrived right past 5, we were one of the first to sit down, but the restaurant was full when we left an hour later. If you're going with a big group, you might have to wait a bit to get a table large enough to fit!

I came in for an earlier ramen lunch and ended up wanting to get all their appetizers. There's a variety of apps but I wasn't too hungry so I ordered mini sesame balls for the table ( 3 for $1!!!) and octopus ball/sesame balls to go. At the end, I also got the homemade sauce just to try bc it was packed in a glass mason jar and relatively affordable. For food, I got tonkotsu ramen and the broth was good. I think it was missing the condiments and some umami flavoring. I'm not sure. It was 3.5 imo. The sesame balls were good and so was the octopus ball. The salmon looked plentiful and came with lots of sides but I'm not sure how it tasted bc I didn't order. All the dishes were cleared out though so I'd say it was a successful lunch trip. They have a long fish display in the front and plenty of seating too! Reminds me to go back to Japan soooon.

I was also thrown off by the macaroni salad. It also had no flavor. I really enjoyed the bean sprouts and wanted to get another serving but was told it was a sample serving and that they don't do more than that. I could pay two dollars m Overall, I think my biggest issue was that a lot of the food was much sweeter than I expected. I was especially surprised by the grilled shrimp because I never imagined it would taste that sweet. I'm not going to lie, I still ate everything because I paid for it and didn't want to waste the food. The highlight of the meal was the Love Boat sushi roll that they light on fire. Visually, it was really impressive and made for a fun presentation. Taste wise, though, it was just an average sushi roll. I couldn't tell that the fire added anything to the flavor. I didn't notice any smokiness or anything that elevated the dish, and I honestly think it would have tasted the same without the fire. For what I paid, I don't think the meal was worth it, so I probably wouldn't come back just for myself. That said, I can see why other people might enjoy it. I did really like the jalapeño on the sushi roll because it added a nice kick, so I would order that again. This is also one of the few times I've had Thai iced tea that was simply too sweet for my taste.
