Excellent poke option in Santa Rosa! A town that's been lacking decent poke for a while. Staff is always a little light but they work hard and fast to try and get orders done quick, which even though it can take awhile, they don't sit around and let orders pile up. Food wise this place is very decent, bowls sometimes are light and heavy depending on who makes it but the quality is always great! Fresh fish and don't sleep on hot poke bowls with chicken or beef, amazing . Teas are always well done and wether you order online or in person they follow the 100% 50% 25% sweetness/ice very well! You might end up waiting awhile but you will get a quality product! The wait times are not bad enough to lose a star but set your expectations, they are lightly staffed perhaps due to covid? Hard for me to take seriously a sushi place that uses canned tuna and labels it poké on the menu.

It was busy. Only one guy making the food so it took a long time. The poke bowl we got looked fresh tho. Tuna and salmon with fixings. Also got sushi rice instead of regular. We got Thai iced tea boba and the passion fruit boba. It was too sweet for my taste - will have to ask for less syrup next time. Definitely will come back to try other bowls and drinks. The ingredients themselves are fresh, but after filling out the card for a poke bowl, I was served up a bowl with 3 mistakes. I ate it anyhow.. I checked no ginger and no pineapple since I'd prefer not to have these surprising me every other bite. I checked the box for wasabi but there was none (I think I wouldn't have noticed). BY FAR the best boba place in santa rosa. hell, even the world. My boy did me up with a dirty pearl milk tea and it was like i was suckling from the tit of Jesus himself. The staff is very nice. This is my first time trying Aloh-o and I am writing this review as I eat! It's delicious! Walking into the restaurant, there are two stations set up for ordering Poke bowls that are appropriately distanced and have separate containers for clean pens and used pens. You may also order up at the register if you'd like as well. In addition to Poke bowls, they offer sushi, bento boxes, and bubble teas and desserts. The first thing I noticed about my to go order was the size of the container. I knew I'd be full before I finished it, and here I am, just about half way finished and ready to call it quits. The second thing, and probably my most important thing, is how fresh the fish tastes! I got three proteins in my bowl (salmon, tuna, and yellowtail was an extra $2.50) and all of them tastes amazing. A lot of places say they used fresh fish but man, here I can definitely taste it! I also order a House Black Tea with boba and even the boba tastes different, in a good way! The boba just had a different vibe than the others around town, and as weird as that sounds, I hope someone out there reading knows what I mean! LOL Not too chewy, not too hard, not too sweet. Got a poke bowl with salmon and ahi tuna. First of all the bowl was tiny. Salmon was horrible, tuna wasn't as bad but still not good. All the veggies were really fresh and crisp but for 19$ the quality of fish should be a lot better than that. Won't be coming here again. It's really good taste wise, but they always forget toppings and get my boba drink wrong. Sometimes they miss the tamago, sometimes they miss the boba. I don't even bother paying for extra stuff because they're probably going to forget it. I hope they're not doing it intentionally. This place would have 5 stars if they actually put in what you ask for and are paying for. I would always add a tip, but now it's not really deserved. I was craving poke on my way out of Sonoma county and had door dashed this place before. The fish was solid but there was a whole lot of rice in the bowl. First time here. No line, just some online orders ahead of us. We ordered 2 poke bowls. And it was a good thing we were watching as they were putting the bowls together, because if we had not said anything an important ingredient (Salmon) would have been missed as it was marked on the checklist as the protein. We also found many other ingredients missing (seaweed salad, mango, onions). And lastly, the sauce was a little too much and salty for the base of greens. This place is so good! Ingredients are so fresh! I've been wanting to try this for so long and this location in Santa Rosa just opened so I had to try it! I will definitely be back. very friendly staff, very clean restaurant, and the quality of the food is amazing. And I am very very picky about my Sushi fish. Have been here several times and usually like it, food is pretty good. I ordered today online--make sure you check your food before leaving. My bowl today did not have spicy tuna (so missing 1/2 meat options) and then had ginger which I did not ask for (confirmed on receipt). They were pretty busy, but for $15 for a bowl of mostly rice, I would hope they can at least get an order right and not forget items. It's good if you want something in a pinch. read more

Sticky and smeared and trash in corners. My sister used the bathroom and said it was even worse andthere was hair on the back of the sink . I'm impressed to say the least with Aloh-o quality. The sushi was great, I had the tempura shrimp; very freshly made with wonderful crunch and the rice was perfectly seasoned, no need to add soy sauce. My daughter had the bowl and she was loving the brown rice, seaweed salad, marinated cucumber, crunchy roe and the breaded chicken. We had boba teas, Thai and mango green, they were so good. Portion sizes good for the price. Poke bowls and rolls tasted good. Also got some boba which was decent. The tea was good, the actual boba was inconsistent. Workers need more training on proper mask wearing as one worker had a mask that wasn't being worn properly (under nose) and another was wearing no mask then put a mask on when they saw customers enter. read more

The boba is appalling, the Thai tea doesn't taste like Thai tea at all whatsoever. It just all in all pretty disgusting, I'm originally from Los Angeles and there are okay and decent and most are absolutely to die for. This place has excellent food. So happy to see more casual dining here in Santa Rosa. Love being able to order Japanese food at the register and take it to go. Everything I've had here so far is fresh. We actually really like the Bento boxes. They come with salad, rice, and two entrees with so many to choose from. I love the chicken katsu! Service is fairly quick. Price is fair, good value for what you get. It was 30 bucks for two bento boxes that's including a tip we left. We have already been 3 times since they opened.
