Super disappointing... wish I could give no stars! The hours of business say 1pm -8pm on yelp and on sign. It also states on different sign they will close early at 6pm if weather is cold or slow. I will say the weather is cooler today but it's currently 338pm and the place is completely shut down. This place is not worth the gas if they aren't even going to be open when they say they are.

When you walk in there are several pictures of their sweet treats posted on the walls. It was nice to see what their menu items look like before ordering. There are also a few menus posted around so it's easy to decide what you want as you're waiting for your turn to order. The ice cream is blocked so you can't see it, but you are able to look at a list of their flavors. The young man working was very kind and patient as we looked at all our options. When I asked about something, he explained what all was in the treat then pointed at the wall and told me where to find the picture. I think many people would have just told me it was on the wall, but he took the time to explain how it was made step by step. We got a brownie sundae which was pretty basic - the brownie and cookies were slightly dry and it was plain vanilla ice cream so it didn't exactly feel worth the money. The Oreo one was definitely worth it, but VERY sweet! There are two Oreos and ice cream sandwich on top of an Oreo milkshake. Man was it good, though!! We wouldn't drive across town for it again, but if we're in the area again I'd try one of their mangonadas or another Mexican treat!

I love their sno cones. These are some of the best sno cones I've ever had. And of course, they have other great things to offer such as corn in a cup, etc.

So many flavors! I love there is an option to sit inside and not just a drive through. Love the options to have ice cream and cream. Employees are all nice and they were pretty fast. Cheerful environment and you can even play games while you eat.

This place was a very typical snack shop. With chips and cheese, shaved ice, corn in a cup, and even mini pancakes. It was slow/empty when i arrived and i was greeted and served immediately. Staff were friendly and ready to help. Establishment was clean, they have plenty of indoor seating. Chips and cheese (not pictured) were good, cheese was hot! Shaved ice is very much like bahama bucks and not raspa like :(. If you're craving it, check them out, prices were pricey so I wouldn't make it a habit.

Overall it was a cute place to grab a snack. The are was sketchy though so we probably won't be back. Orders: Cotton candy shave Ice Strawberry delight (I think?) It was all very good! We just popped in and out though so not much to say about service or snacking in.

5 star service from the friendly staff! Clean, calm spot (when I came anyway)! I've passed by before and there was lots of people! It's evident too from the laid out & roped off entrance & exit, which organizes how to line up w/ directions as you enter. Woman who I ordered with was really nice. Answered my question inquiring what was in the cucumber split-mango Italian ice and more! I wanted it to be smaller so I didn't order it. Ordered nachos w/ jalapeños and a small strawberry Italian ice. Nachos were the familiar favorite & exactly as expected. Italian ice was super soft and quite tasty. It wasn't at all overly sweet, in fact, I kind of wanted sweeter. I also didn't ask if it was an option to get two different kinds in the choice of flavors. I didn't even think about it. Honestly, for the taste I wanted, a mini with one scoop would've served me perfectly. Some of the other snacks looked like super sized snacks. I just wanted little snacks. Ha. Maverick, who is the assistant manager & prepared both of my things was super friendly & when I told him I wanted the cucumber split, but thought it was too big, he said to try it next time because it's served in the same dish as the nachos, so it's not very big. He also said the Italian ice does pretty well in the freezer if you don't finish it. Aguas frescas are also made fresh in house. I'll be back to try at least a few more things on their extensive menu! Only criticism is beyond their control, or maybe something to bring up with building management since it's outside of the store- There were a couple of unhoused people sitting next to the building drinking and tweeking. They weren't a bother but in that mental state, we all just have to be safe & aware of our surroundings (wherever we go, really), that's all.

Their snow cones are beautiful and taste great too. They add condensed milk to our that gave it an extra sweet flavor. The inside of the restaurant is a bit sticky though, which I suppose could be expected with kids and melting sweets. Service was typical. There was not a lot of seating, we ended up taking ours to go.

Place is overpriced and items don't even look close to pictured items. Lobby was empty when we walked in and the floors were filthy. It got busy a little while after we got there so maybe staff should manage better when to clean floors. I like to tip after service is provided, I asked for a small drink umbrella for my sons ice cream. The owner smiled and said of course! Mind you I planned on tipping cash after items were received, the owner saw me put no tip when I paid and his demeanor completely changed. He was rude and served me my corn and Piccadilly super dry then told me YEAH WE DONT HAVE UMBRELLAS. To make matters worse when I was in line he yelled at me to move over with an attitude instead of asking nicely. Second time I give this place a try and second time I get disappointed. Def won't be a third and wouldn't recommend to anyone. read more

This is the best little family owned local dessert place. First they have Blue Bell ice cream which is AMAZING. The mini pancakes are to die for - with lots of topping choices. The shakes are ridiculous and huge or just get ice cream. Worth making part of your trip! read more

Loved the Italian ice. Had the cucumber with Limon loco (lime and chamoy). I got the small sized and it was huge. At first I thought it was going to be too much but the sweet Limon loco went perfectly with the mild cucumber. I've never seen cucumber italian ice bwgore but I'm glad I tried it. It was midly sweet and went perfectly to balance the other sweet flavor. I probably wouldn't get the cucumber on its own but I complements other flavors super well. Often mangonada type Italian ices are too sweet but this balanced it perfectly. I'd come back in a heart beat. read more

Cute location that offers slushies, fresh fruit-made ice cream and fruit cups by itself, with cream or covered in chocolate. Service is friendly and they let you try all flavors. My husband and I decided to try this place after a long hike at a nearby park. Since we went during the pandemic, we weren't able to sit inside which is very understandable. I'm not sure what the setup was before COVID but I would have enjoyed being able to eat inside with my husband as a mini date. The service was very friendly and fast. Let me just say that the shaved ice was REFRESHING after that long walk!!! Soft and flavorful. The blue coconut tasted like being at the beach. Since I can't actually go to the beach right now, this was the next best thing. I definitely recommend this place. I can't wait to go back and try all the flavors! read more

Used to LOVE this place, I'm not sure what happened but service is horrible and so are the portions as well. The Italian ice cups used to be filled now it's only 1-2 ice cream scoops that don't even fill the cup like they did in the past, very disappointed. read more

I have never in my life had anything so amazing. I ordered the Picadilly and OMG!!! I ordered piña colada as the base and they topped it off with pickle bits, chamoy sauce and lucas. It is the perfect balance of spicy, sweet and sour. Every bite was perfectly made. I'm obsessed and recommending everyone I know to come here. The lady here was so kind and fast. read more

Awesome shaved ice with Piccadilly!! We had the Tigers blood shaved ice with Piccadilly and it was delicious!! My daughter had the Mangonada and that was good too. The customer service was great and the place was clean! Usually these type of places are full of sticky tables but you won't find that here. Happy customers! read more

This was our first time atAloha and it was amazing!! The Italian ice was a different way to try the mangonada (vs shaved ice) and it was great. We also ordered the classic Piccadilly which was also awesome - lots of pickles and chamoy :) we got a corn in the cup and that was also 5 stars for sure! The owners were really friendly and gave us free chocolate covered strawberries to thank us for trying them out. We used to go to the shaved ice place across the street but we will be going to Aloha from now on read more

The ice cream might be fabulous but...they advertise indoor seating on their website and unlike their advertisement, they DO make you stand outside in 100° weather. So as you stand outside with your expensive ice creams and watch them melt...there isn't even a trash can for you to use. False advertisement!!!! And poor customer service. Buy your expensive ice cream at a place that at least has a trash can. read more

I usually don't have any problems with my order. Today was a mess! They did not have cup carriers/holders, there was no strawberry in my strawberry milkshake and my mangonadas spilled all over the place bc the cups were overfilled. I suggest they invest in dome lids and extra cup carriers. I was so annoyed and frustrated. My son kept asking where the strawberries were in his strawberry milkshake....what a disappointment. read more

Mexican shaved ice is pretty much my favorite snack on any day of the year. Even on a cold winter day, I went to Aloha to try out their mangonadas. The store is really adorable inside. It has cheerful and bright decorations. I like that there is ample indoor seating. Many Mexican shaved ice places have some outdoor seating or just have no seating. So, this was very much welcomed! There are a ton of snacks to choose from (that I am dying to try next time). I ordered a mangonada and some flat lollipops (they're weird and sticky but I like them). The mangonada has a great shaved ice to chamoy ratio. Their chamoy sticks are home made! I think I prefer the store bought kind but I think it is cool they made their own. The shaved ice is the real star. It is soft and has chunks of mango throughout. There weren't any icy bits, just smooth, with tiny pieces of mango. I loved it! I saw some other snacks on the menu, like the watermelon and split cucumber. I definitely want to bring some friends next time to share! read more

I really enjoyed the Cucumber Split! It was delicious and plentiful! This place reminded me of some of my childhood days when my parents would take us to get raspas. A big thank you goes out to the owners for that! The product is great, the selection is great, and the service was excellent! The owners make you feel right at home and speak to you as if they have known you for a long time. This place is a hidden gem! We stumbled across this place looking for shaved ice in our work area and got so much more! The staff was amazingly friendly, the mangonada was so creamy and delicious (I would say the best I've had in town), and the chango was so made so perfectly, I just can't go back to pickle pops! This is one of the best "fruteria" style places we've been to. The management was so nice and helpful that I would recommend this place on customer service alone. The gentleman who's name I don't believe I caught that was working behind the counter was very interested in helping make the best selection. He also pointed out favorites and what they're known for. He asked us how we heard about them and I gladly shared it was a happy accident looking on yelp. It's definitely a place I recommend. read more

BOMBBBBB treats! Loved the food 100%. Customer service was pretty good, nothing spectacular but over all decent experience! I only gave it 3 stars because the environment is so wack. There is no seating. Nobody wants to eat shaved ice in their car... too messy. This truly takes away from the experience because people usually bring their kids out to eat. And if you have multiple children with no chairs.... You'll probably end up going else where. They do, however, have outdoor seating. No tables, just benches. While I sat there with my kids, I was attacked by a bunch of flies. Such an annoying experience overall. If I come back, I'll probably go without the kids! read more

I used to love coming here with my family. But after three bad experiences in a row I've decided this place doesn't deserve my hard earned money. They've made it clear that they aren't about serving their customers. You come in half an hour before they close and they aren't serving half of the food on the menu because they'd rather close it down early than close it down when they actually closed. Two of the girls working there are catty, have such a terrible attitude, and talk bad about you while you're inside eating (especially the larger tall girl who's always there, she's the owners sons girlfriend ). After tonight, I'm done with Aloha for good. Not treating your customers right is a quick way to lose business. Get it together! read more

Drove by at around 9:10 and saw Aloha had the lights on took a chance to see if they were open being that they advertise closing at 9!! Success they were open I ordered a strawberry dream to die for strawberry slushy with icecream in the middle and fresh strawberries on top!!! Highly recommend... also found out they won the Mangonada competition here in SA!!! The staff is so friendly, and location is super clean!! Now I know if the lights are on they are open!!!
