Super disappointing... wish I could give no stars! The hours of business say 1pm -8pm on yelp and on sign. It also states on different sign they will close early at 6pm if weather is cold or slow. I will say the weather is cooler today but it's currently 338pm and the place is completely shut down. This place is not worth the gas if they aren't even going to be open when they say they are.

Aguas Frescas - authentic, fresh made with real ingredients. Italian Ice, tastes like a scoop of paleta. Buy local, support friendly family-owned. Store is fun and clean, A/100 inspection.

So many flavors! I love there is an option to sit inside and not just a drive through. Love the options to have ice cream and cream. Employees are all nice and they were pretty fast. Cheerful environment and you can even play games while you eat.

When you walk in there are several pictures of their sweet treats posted on the walls. It was nice to see what their menu items look like before ordering. There are also a few menus posted around so it's easy to decide what you want as you're waiting for your turn to order. The ice cream is blocked so you can't see it, but you are able to look at a list of their flavors. The young man working was very kind and patient as we looked at all our options. When I asked about something, he explained what all was in the treat then pointed at the wall and told me where to find the picture. I think many people would have just told me it was on the wall, but he took the time to explain how it was made step by step. We got a brownie sundae which was pretty basic - the brownie and cookies were slightly dry and it was plain vanilla ice cream so it didn't exactly feel worth the money. The Oreo one was definitely worth it, but VERY sweet! There are two Oreos and ice cream sandwich on top of an Oreo milkshake. Man was it good, though!! We wouldn't drive across town for it again, but if we're in the area again I'd try one of their mangonadas or another Mexican treat!

This place was a very typical snack shop. With chips and cheese, shaved ice, corn in a cup, and even mini pancakes. It was slow/empty when i arrived and i was greeted and served immediately. Staff were friendly and ready to help. Establishment was clean, they have plenty of indoor seating. Chips and cheese (not pictured) were good, cheese was hot! Shaved ice is very much like bahama bucks and not raspa like :(. If you're craving it, check them out, prices were pricey so I wouldn't make it a habit.

5 star service from the friendly staff! Clean, calm spot (when I came anyway)! I've passed by before and there was lots of people! It's evident too from the laid out & roped off entrance & exit, which organizes how to line up w/ directions as you enter. Woman who I ordered with was really nice. Answered my question inquiring what was in the cucumber split-mango Italian ice and more! I wanted it to be smaller so I didn't order it. Ordered nachos w/ jalapeños and a small strawberry Italian ice. Nachos were the familiar favorite & exactly as expected. Italian ice was super soft and quite tasty. It wasn't at all overly sweet, in fact, I kind of wanted sweeter. I also didn't ask if it was an option to get two different kinds in the choice of flavors. I didn't even think about it. Honestly, for the taste I wanted, a mini with one scoop would've served me perfectly. Some of the other snacks looked like super sized snacks. I just wanted little snacks. Ha. Maverick, who is the assistant manager & prepared both of my things was super friendly & when I told him I wanted the cucumber split, but thought it was too big, he said to try it next time because it's served in the same dish as the nachos, so it's not very big. He also said the Italian ice does pretty well in the freezer if you don't finish it. Aguas frescas are also made fresh in house. I'll be back to try at least a few more things on their extensive menu! Only criticism is beyond their control, or maybe something to bring up with building management since it's outside of the store- There were a couple of unhoused people sitting next to the building drinking and tweeking. They weren't a bother but in that mental state, we all just have to be safe & aware of our surroundings (wherever we go, really), that's all.

Their snow cones are beautiful and taste great too. They add condensed milk to our that gave it an extra sweet flavor. The inside of the restaurant is a bit sticky though, which I suppose could be expected with kids and melting sweets. Service was typical. There was not a lot of seating, we ended up taking ours to go.

This place is amazing! The first thing I noticed as I walked into the store was how clean and tidy it was. The owners are behind the counter serving their customers. I felt like a five year old in a candy store. The owner explained the different flavors of shaved ice. I tasted several different flavors before making my final decision. I had the Mango and Strawberry it was delicious. I enjoyed seeing the teenagers enjoying their shaved ice and ice cream cones over laughter and friendly conversations. read more

It's some good shaved ice, I've only tried one kind of drink. Shaved ice(vs Italian shaved ice that they also have) service was great, order was ready quickly. They let you add 2 flavors at no charge, that's a good deal. so I suppose my only complaint would be about the product being the absolute best, it's not quite there, but it's darn close and maybe when I try the Italian shaved ice I'll change my review to 5 star, like I said I've only been here once so far. But keep up the good work! read more

Very disappointing to get a corn in a cup and strawberries with cream. The corn in a cup had way too much lime and at that point you can barely enjoy it. The strawberries with cream was just whipped cream and strawberries, I would recommend going to a different place for better quality snack and better pricing as well. read more

My husband and I are visiting from Clarksville, TN. This is the second time I've had shaved I've while visiting Texas. We decided on this place because I was craving it again. The strip mall that this place sits in, is very deceiving. The inside is very cool and bright. I can be very indecisive and the woman behind the counter was very patient, kind, and helpful. I really love the service here. You guys are doing excellent!! Seeing my sons rainbow shaved ice cups, I had to get one. I got the large which was 5.25. Pretty good price considering that it is HUGE and my husband and I could barely finish it. The establishment is very clean. There are so many options!! Aloha Shaved Ice provides a welcoming, laid back environment where you can get a good afternoon treat. Love, love, love this place. Sad to go home and not being able to take it with me. Where do I begin? First of all, customer service is A1, the corn was so delicious! Everything tasted amazing! My mother & father got 3 flavored shaved ice of strawberry, pina colada, & mango. Soooo delicious! Then I added in some hot Cheetos with nacho cheese, awesome as well. This was such an amazing experience & I highly recommended! I wish they had 10 stars because they deserve it! read more

1st visit here and I think I'm officially addicted. I have been to a few of the shaved ice places and where they were tasty they lacked in different areas. This one however I couldn't find a negative thing to say. The have so many choices from ice cream, nachos, corn, shaved ice, fruit and the list goes on. My husband had the cucumbers with lime and they were so good. The homemade chamoy gives it this sweet flavor (very mild) that you don't get anywhere else. You can also ask for a spicier powder than just the lucas and that just made them top notch. So the real deal is the sandia.l something. Basically its a watermelon carved out and loaded with all kinds of fruits, Lucas, chamoy, candy and of course whatevwe kind of shaved ice you want. Seriously this is hands down the best snack around. It does run $13 but it's seriously worth every penny and sharable if you decide. Besides the food the place was clean and the son and girlfriend were so very kind and accommodating. We will definitely be back very soon. My husband was glad because now we don't have to drive across town to wait an hour in the sun for a fresadilly EVER again. :) read more

Awesome shaved ice with Piccadilly!! We had the Tigers blood shaved ice with Piccadilly and it was delicious!! My daughter had the Mangonada and that was good too. The customer service was great and the place was clean! Usually these type of places are full of sticky tables but you won't find that here. Happy customers! read more

I love this place so much. The staff are so friendly and the owner as well. They greet you right as you come in and ask if you've been helped if it's busy. The only thing though is it's kind of pricy. There's another place 10 minutes from here that's at least half the price with more selection. but other than that I love this place it's perfect. read more

Google maps initially directed us to the plaza area where the stores were instead of the parking area where the food truck was. The New Orleans style intrigued me and they were so nice to provide us with samples of the shaved ice and different flavors. Pillowy soft ice for sure and very reasonable prices! My husband and I both had the Cajun sizes though after I got started, it felt like a lot for me. I had the Blueberry and Pina Colada combo. I think the Blueberry took over the Pina Colada taste and color in my cup. That's the only reason why I didn't give it 5 stars. My husband had the Root Beer and Strawberry and enjoyed his. Strawberry is one of their more popular flavors. Until I looked at the reviews, I didn't realize that this food truck has been around for several years already! The meal is spent looking down and hoping my beloved or other guests don't see the schmear up to my nose. By the end, we are having to reconstruct our bagel, as it looks like roadkill on the table. It is not a user error, as we eat slowly and carefully. I even have friends who refuse to come back here because it was the messiest eating experience of their lives. It's so unbelievably messy. We have to rinse off in their bathroom before leaving. I have to take my rings off and put my hair up. It's a commitment, one we are not strong enough to make at this point. All the proteins were cooked perfectly. The real winner was the lemongrass Banh mi with once again perfectly proportioned ingredients. We also ordered the fresh spring roll, which never came but wasn't missed except that they did try to charge us for but did remove them. They definitely have some work to make this a comfortable dining experience but I wouldn't let it stop you from trying some phenomenal Vietnamese food.

I used to love coming here with my family. But after three bad experiences in a row I've decided this place doesn't deserve my hard earned money. They've made it clear that they aren't about serving their customers. You come in half an hour before they close and they aren't serving half of the food on the menu because they'd rather close it down early than close it down when they actually closed. Two of the girls working there are catty, have such a terrible attitude, and talk bad about you while you're inside eating (especially the larger tall girl who's always there, she's the owners sons girlfriend ). After tonight, I'm done with Aloha for good. Not treating your customers right is a quick way to lose business. Get it together! read more

Drove by at around 9:10 and saw Aloha had the lights on took a chance to see if they were open being that they advertise closing at 9!! Success they were open I ordered a strawberry dream to die for strawberry slushy with icecream in the middle and fresh strawberries on top!!! Highly recommend... also found out they won the Mangonada competition here in SA!!! The staff is so friendly, and location is super clean!! Now I know if the lights are on they are open!!!
