This is my go-to spot when I want to avoid huge crowds and long waits. The quieter atmosphere definitely doesn't reflect the quality of the food. I think it gets overlooked because it's a bit tucked away, but it's honestly a hidden gem. I've enjoyed all of their savory dishes, and their pancakes are some of the best around. The coffee is a little too strong for my personal taste, but their lattes are always delicious.

Mushy/hard rice. Had to ask for new rice because it tasted horrible.

Never in my life have I eaten somewhere where the rice was mushy in some bites, and hard and undercooked in other bites. I ordered the loco moco and everything but the rice was good. The restaurant gave me new rice which after I complained and it tasted better than the first. Their food is normally spot on so not sure what happened.

Great breakfast spot! I was thrilled to see gluten friendly pancakes and waffles on the menu-- and there are lots of other appealing options too. My husband was super happy with his katsu curry. They also offer lots of different coffees and teas. I had the Hawaiian latte and it was a treat. The interior features bright, contemporary decor with sunny yellow accents. I've eaten here for a quick weekday lunch and found the seating ample, but it was predictably more crowded when we came for Sunday brunch. No problem, because there's plenty of outdoor seating too! Service was efficient and friendly. Looking forward to many more breakfasts here.

On a sunny weekend, Aloha Stacks is a great place to grab brunch. The line was out the door, but moved quickly. You order at the counter and then take your number to a table. They have indoor and lots of outdoor seating available. I tried their breakfast burrito, which at $12 is one of the cheapest around. It includes your choice of protein (bacon, Portuguese sausage, kalua pork, sausage, spam or mixed veggies) with eggs, cheddar and potatoes and comes with a side of refried beans and chips. It's one of the smaller ones out there, but at that price you can't argue. I chose kalua pork and there was a good amount in there. The salsa verde that comes with it is great, and really adds an extra oomph. My husband got the chicken teriyaki plate ($16) which came with two scoops of rice and mac salad. They use chicken breast so it's healthier, but not as flavorful as dark meat. Would like to come back for those ube pancakes and some Portuguese sausage! Ample parking the lot.

This place has a casual vibe, great food, and plenty of outdoor seating. The staff at the register was friendly in spite of the long line on a Saturday morning. We ordered the chilaquiles and the ube pancakes -- instead of coconut flakes, I added banana slices. The ube pancakes are my favorite now. They were to die for. Amazing texture and flavor. Their Mexican hot chocolate and aloha latte were amazing, too.

I was treated to a brunch / lunch at Irvine for Aloha stacks. It's is unique fusion of American, Hawaiian, Hispanic breakfast. Portions are large, food is tasty. Overall the restaurant is fast food style, and they do bring your plates to your table. Service is friendly. Aloha stacks is located at busy plaza and it's not a big restaurant inside. It also shares patio seatings outside with the other restaurants in the plaza. Vibe is new, clean, and American fusion Hawaiian style breakfast, brunch and lunch restaurant. Overall the taste on dish are good, and different enough to warrant visits.

Aloha Stacks is one of those spots that's easy to come back to when you're craving something sweet and satisfying. I ordered the ube coconut waffles along with an ube latte, and both came out to my table quickly and were exactly what I was hoping for. The waffles were fluffy with a light crisp on the outside, and the ube flavor was also fluffy and rich without being too sweet. The coconut paired really nicely and added a little extra texture that made each bite better. The ube latte was smooth, creamy, and not overly sugary. It was such a perfect balance with the waffles. Overall, it's a great place to grab breakfast when you're in the mood for something a little different but still comforting. Their menu also has savory options but I was here to satisfy my sweet tooth. If you're an ube fan, this is an easy recommendation, and I'll definitely be back to try more of the menu!

I've been here 4x in a month. My daughter and I stopped by to have brunch with my my gfs after their Pilates class. We loved it so much. Then came back with the rest of the family and then 2x with my work buddies. Each time I've like everything we ordered. I tasted my friend's dishes too and I can't say I found anything I didn't like. 01. Blueberry Pancakes $4 (single stack) - 5 Stars - Fluffy and loaded with fresh blueberries, not the frozen ones. You can see the fresh blueberries in whole form. Light and fluffy, perfectly cooked. I get at least 1 pancake at each visit. 02. Breakfast Burrito - 4 Stars - Solid burrito and a good size. You can customize it to your liking, I got mine with Portuguese Sausage. The salsa that comes with it was tasty. 03. Strawberry N' Cream Pancake (kid's meal) $8 - 4 Stars - Great deal for the kids. The portion was big enough for an adult. 04. Chicken Katsu Waffles - 3.5 Stars - The Katsu was crispy (not seasoned enough) and the waffles were ok. Our least liked item from our visit. 05. Turkey Avocado Melt w/ Tater Tots - 4 Stars - Oh the Tots won me over. I haven't had a Tater Tots in so long. Good as I remembered. The turkey sando was simple but good. The bread was toasted perfectly. 06. Loco Moco w/ Fried Rice - 4 Stars - We sub the white rice for fried rice which is the way to go. The gravy was seasoned well and the eggs are done to your preference. If you want more gravy, just ask for more. PARKING - Lots of parking in the plaza so don't worry. CUSTOMER SERVICE - The staff are super friendly and always willing to help. The recognize you after a few visits. FOODS - I am a true fan. I haven't found a breakfast/brunch spot that has a great menu, good tasting foods and friendly service. This one checks all of my list. Food is tasty. Their drinks are good too. VERDICT - If coming 4x within a month doesn't speak how much I like them, I'm not sure what will. Try it out, it's definitely a hidden gem in Irvine/OC. I'll see you soon Adrian!!!

This is a solid brunch spot! There are a few tables inside but I love the outdoor seating - great for people watching while you enjoy a nice meal :) The portions are generous and everything comes out very quickly. The ube waffles are crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside, and the ube filling is not too sweet at all. The oatmeal is also tasty and generously portioned, I enjoyed the fresh fruit and the side of brown sugar to sprinkle on top! Staff here is also very friendly and sweet :)

Came on a Sunday morning so expected to be busy but overall did not take too long to get our food. Stood in line to order and then was given a number to leave on the table. Lots of seating outside and servers were able to bring the food out in less than 10 minutes. Lots of seating, especially outdoors so very dog friendly. Ube pancakes were very soft, coconut flakes were cooked into the pancakes and on top. Not too sweet as well. Loco moco was pretty decent, typically what you would expect but the hamburger patty was slightly dry. Would definitely come back for a quick and affordable breakfast option!

Loco Moco is a dish that holds a special place in my heart as my first breakfast whenever I kickoff my trip in Hawaii. I was delighted to find Aloha Stacks, a local gem in a great part of Irvine in close proximity to my home. Aloha Stacks to satisfies my craving. Eating at the restaurant is an effortless experience being in a fantastic area with lots of parking. The Loco Moco is excellent pick. It a dish piled high with the perfect combination of white rice, egg, gravy and hamburger patty (or your protein choice) and a very satisfying portion. The meal instantly transports me back to the islands and tastes authentic. If your looking for great Loco Moco without the flight, Aloha Stacks is a must visit.

This Aloha Stacks is nestled in a lovely clean shopping center with abundant outdoor seating spaces and some indoor seatings. The ordering process took awhile because of a snaking long line. I decided to sit outside and the food arrived relatively quickly. The chai I had was sickly sweet and had too much ice in it. I should have had pancakes or something instead of their limited offering omelet. It essentially had way too much meat inside and had an awful texture. Every bite I took was too salty and had a gritty meat texture or very rubbery egg taste. No bueno. I also had to go hunt for utensils, napkins, and condiments as none was offered. In short, I wouldn't mind revisiting in the future to try some of the other offerings. But.....I wouldn't go out of my way to eat there.

This place is amazing! Food and service were great! You know it's amazing restaurant when the line is out the door. Solid menu. Their eggs Benedict are scrumptious and hearty. Don't skip on the crab benedict; it is quite good! Perfect brunch place! They're located next to OneZo and within walking distance for people who live in the Great Parks. You order first, pay, and are assigned a number, which you can take to their indoor or outdoor tables. The food is then delivered to you, and they're fresh and quick. Staff is polite and nice. The restaurant is super busy and the kitchen is always working, so they're really streamlined! I appreciate the amount of volume their staff is able to handle. It's honestly really impressive what they do. One things that might annoy some people is the plaza has a high-pitched sound emitter to discourage birds from flying down and feasting on your foods. But it also means if you're sitting outside, you'll hear a high-pitched tone the whole time you're eating. Some people didn't seem to notice, so ymmv. read more

It was a beautiful day, and my friend and I sat outside. The service was quick. The food was really good and the prices were fair. There was good portions. I do wish there was a little more sauce on the katsu because at the end I was eating dry rice. I liked this location much more than the other stacks location in Irvine. read more

Still the best waffles around! Love the outside patio tables in the center. Service was fine. The best thing about any of the Stacks locations is consistency. Great waffles. Great crepes. Great French toast. Great breakfast. I thought this location might have some different menu options in addition to the new name, but no such luck. Also wish they had more vegetarian and Turkey/chicken options for alternative protein, but at least you will still get all your favorites just like any other Stacks location. read more

The service was nice. The portion of these crepes are insanely big for irvine and in this economy. Ive paid $18 for crepes and got less than this. They have 4 crepes stacked with generous amounts of nutella and banana. Only issue I had is they taste more like eggs than flour for my liking but its still good! read more

This order at the counter eatery is located in Woodbury Town Center and has a good flow of traffic on the weekends. There is some interior seating and plenty outside in the communal eating area. I've been to their other locations and would put this one right in the middle. Glad they're growing. Still prefer their Mission Viejo location more and Plumeria. read more

I've had better cheeseburgers at Carl's Jr. nothing special about this burger, especially for 11 bucks go to "The Cut". Thousand times better if you want a hamburger like this, you could make it yourself at home throw the Patty on the ground pick it up and stick it back in and eat it Very plain Nothing exceptional What So Ever about this burger. And pretty sure that patty is a cost 1/4 lbs patty not fresh for sure frozen. On the menu it does state 1/3lbs. Don't ever bother to eat here. If they can't make an $11 burger taste like an $11 burger imagine how crappy everything else is. read more

Friendly staff but food very over priced, paid almost $20 for a cheeseburger combo with fries and a drink, burger patty was very small and could barely taste any meat due to how thick the lettuce was, literally 80% lettuce 20% patty also not to mention the patty itself was very bland and no seasoning whatsoever, fries were okay but the burger itself was very disappointing read more

Food is super tasty but not greasy feeling. I highly recommend the Loco Moco with fried rice, anything with Kalua pork in it and the ube pancakes (light and not too sweet at all). Place gets jammed packed so be prepared to wait if you come at a rush hour. We typically just order online for pickup. Staff does a great job of managing the madness while being kind and responsive! read more

Great menu options and outdoor seating area! The food is always delivered fresh and nicely plated, sadly however the drink quality is always very inconsistent. Coffee was delivered cold. The staff is unenthusiastic, not the friendly Aloha experience that you would get on the island. We told the order taker we were celebrating a birthday today and she said "oh". read more

Amazing brunch place!! Their crunchy French toast is amazing, not too sweet and the flavors are so good you want to keep eating more. Their omelette is great too, keeps you stuffed for hours. If you go on Saturday, there's live music and it makes it a great place to just hang out on the weekend. You pick a spot and they bring the food to you, the service is pretty good! Our new fave neighborhood breakfast joint. Good food, quick service and plenty of seating inside and out. My children ask to come here once a week. My son loves the pancakes, my daughter loves the breakfast sandwich and I love lite bites which has a little of everything - eggs, choice of protein and choice of crepe, waffle, French toast or biscuits and gravy. Woodbury Town Center opened a couple new and hot restaurants in the last few months. And this one is the long awaited since the pandemic. Overall, there is a lack of places that serve good breakfast. The places that do serve good breakfast usually has a line that is a mile long. So when I saw the coming soon sign up for Aloha Stacks, I am like the Marvin commercial..."open open open." This morning, I finally had time to visit this place with my wife and my foodie son. First of all, the indoor space is not very big. However, it has plenty of outdoor seating. Unfortunately, because of the overnight rain, the seats are all wet outside. We were able to find a 2 seater table that can fit the 3 of us. The service is great and the food comes out really fast. I am constantly hunting for the best loco moco. So of course I had to order the loco moco with the hamburger patty. My wife ordered the breakfast burrito with Kahlua pork. And my son ordered the banana Nutella and cream crepes. My loco moco was good. The grevy was tasty and the hamburger patty was well cooked. The patty seems like the frozen Costco patty. Which I don't mind at all for my loco moco. The only complaint I had was my rice was cold and not enough grevy. Not the best loco moco that I ever had, but, it satisfies my craving. I didn't eat enough of the breakfast burrito and the crepes and do a fair assessment. So I will leave that for the next visit. Aloha Stacks and a convenient place to get breakfast that I will for sure visiting again soon. read more

So.... I'm back with another one (in my biggie voice) this place is sooo delicious. The first time I came to this location I ordered a breakfast burrito it was great! But it didn't top the second time I went and ordered biscuits and gravy and a Belgium waffle with the works! (Check out my pics below) the food is AMAZING and the service is great. Go here now . Ps. Complete disappointment. I have a pretty decent standard with Hawaiian/Filipino fusion. Knowing this was in Irvine, I had high expectations, considering it's pretty hard to mess that type of cuisine up. I ordered to-go: UBE latte and breakfast burrito. A breakfast burrito is so hard to mess up! But unfortunately I was let down. The burrito had absolutely no flavor. Even both sauces it came with, o Lu made the burrito tolerable. The UBE latte was mid. It tasted like there was only one shot of expresso and barely taste the UBE. With that said, the price was in par with what it SHOULD cost, but I wasn't happy with the quality. I will give it another shot for the pancakes and etc. until then, they get 2 stars based on what I had. read more

I would rate this place a 4/10. Starting out, the lady who took our order wasn't friendly whatsoever so that set the mood of our experience. We came on a Monday morning so it wasn't busy and the outside seating was nice. We sat next to the water fountain so it was quite peaceful. Luckily, we got our food quickly. The only thing that I would say was good about our food was the Macnut French toast and the Maui ice tea. My steak was cooked nicely but other than that, it went downhill. It was a bit too salty and the potatoes were dry. The omelette had over cooked meat, the egg itself was oily, and the rice was dried out. Overall most likely wouldn't come here again but it was a nice place to try our being in the area. read more

Aloha Stacks is a great spot for a large variety of breakfast and brunch options. BE WARNED - this location ALWAYS has a very, very long line. The employees are always extremely friendly and attentive, which is very appreciated! There is seating both inside and outside, which is perfect for whether it's a party of 2 or 10. The food is delicious! Never had something I didn't like & have tried many items on the menu. My go to lately has been the breakfast egg burrito with Kalua Pork! If you were a fan of Orobae's rising phoenix oolong milk tea before they closed, this is probably the closest thing I've found to it. The service was quick and friendly. The inside of the shop is super cute with a clean, minimalist vibe. I'd definitely order the phoenix oolong again. It's easily one of my favorite drinks I've had here so far!!
