Came to Aloha Sushi around lunch time on Friday and this place was packed. We were immediately greeted and sat by our waitress. The rolls are huge and very affordable. The rolls tasted amazing and the fish were very good quality. We got three rolls: Lucky 7, Judy's, and Jeff's Special. My personal favorite was the Lucky 7. We also got the spicy garlic edamame, hamachi kama, and miso soups. Everything was great and we'll be coming back!

Oooh I love this sushi spot! I will definitely be back to try their other rolls and their ramen! I ordered the Puff Daddy and absolutely loved it. My husband had the Aloha roll and I got to snag a bite and it was delicious as well with a bit of a spicy kick to it. You honestly can't beat their prices either, extremely reasonable. Can't wait to go back.

Came in with no reservations on a Sunday afternoon. We were sat down quickly for a medium sized party of 5 people. We were attended to quickly & the server was kind and attentive! The ambiance is chill & not too noisy. They gave some TVs that can be viewed from the tables. Now for the food: 10/10 for the rolls! All the rolls had a sufficient amount of meat, were made well, had full potions, & looked beautiful! This place is a huge hit!! The best sushi place I have found in the area for unbearable prices & fresh fish! Definitely will visit again!!

Pretty good sushi place! The food was tasty and fresh. The servers were all very nice and friendly for a super busy night. The vibe was pleasant and the restaurant was clean. My bento box was delicious! Thanks for a great meal!

DELICIOUS Sushi, nice staff, dim lighting and sports on the tv which is nice to catch a basketball game while out to dinner.

    Veggie Noodle

Love this place. The food is fresh and the preparation of the rolls are works of tasty art. The veggie noodle is amazing. In the past I would get it medium spicy. On this visit was told my the server that spicy was not available. Still a solid offering when you just want a lighter option but probably out of my rotation with out the kick . The spicy edemomie 10/10. Have had the romen before and that has spicy option levels probably my new go to when not feeling like getting there rolls.

The sushi is quite good and prices are reasonable. It's a smaller place and there can be a wait for a table as it's packed during the dinner rush. Our favorite rolls are the Mt. Fuji and the ninja roll. There is a good selection of vegetarian rolls, too.

Their Ramen was pretty good. I got the spicy and it was yummy not the best ramen but it was pretty solid. I usually come here for the sushi. The sushi was good as before. I really like this place. The service also was very good this time very attentive. The ambiance is simple here nothing spectacular but it was nice to be able to get a solid yummy ramen dish with my sushi. Their Folsom lover roll is so good my son loved it.

It breaks my heart having to leave such a low review, I've heard really good things about this restaurant before I came to dine in. While the food was delicious and the portion size was amazing; unfortunately the service did not match to the hype. Me and my friend were practically ignored by our server each time we tried to flag him down. When we tried to engage in conversation he would look away or ignore the statement. It took us 15-20 minutes after meal was completed to get out bill. I made eye contact with the server multiple times and he kept ignoring our table. We finally got it after we flagged down a different server who was much nicer. It wouldn't matter if he treated everyone in the restaurant like that; but it felt rather off that he was waiting on the table next to us in a completely different manner and checking in on other tables more regularly Unsure if it has to do with race as I am a woman of color! Would just be wary about it if you are POC.

The most delicious sushi spot is Aloha Sushi! I want to eat here every other day. I always get the Red Hot Momma or Folsom lover roll and the poke nachos are sooooo good definitely a favorite for us. The employees are always very welcoming and friendly. Shout out to the team!

We stopped in for dinner on a weeknight hoping to have found our new go to sushi place. We were seated right away , but service was really slow . It took a while to get our orders taken , and even longer to get our food . When our food came , I thought everything tasted good ! It was definitely worth the wait . If you're in a rush, I'd say wait to try this place out, otherwise check it out ! I think their prices and quality of food is worth it !

The interior is focused and intimate, utilizing wood booths and panel walls creating a serene space that is almost ritualistic in a peaceful and unwinding way. The waitress was very Kind to us and the chef was prompt. On top of our orders, the chef brought out carved fruit for our kids twice! Before and after our meals. We thought this was such a great gesture and make the kiddos happy and feel special. The food was great! Love that they have a protein section using no rice to skip the carbs. Their toro was fantastic, and the chef even placed 24k gold flakes on top when he presented the dish. This was a great experience and we cannot wait to return and enjoy another wonderful experience! Since it wasn't very busy when we arrived, we were seated right away. The dining room is fairly large, with a mix of tables, booths, and counter seating. Each table has a tablet for electronic ordering, but we decided to go old-fashioned and order through our server. We started with a large hot sake and six pieces of gyoza, asking our server to hold the entrées until we finished. The sake hit the spot and paired nicely with the gyoza. The gyoza tasted good but was just a bit harder than we'd like. For the main meal, I ordered a bento box with nigiri sushi and tempura, while the others chose a salmon teriyaki bento box and a Spicy Yellowtail Roll. My nigiri tasted fresh and nicely prepared. I also tried a piece of the Spicy Yellowtail Roll and found it to have a nice flavor profile. The salmon teriyaki was clean and sweet, with a natural salmon flavor, and was tender and juicy. The portions were generous, making for a satisfying meal, and everyone enjoyed their food, although my companions thought the tempura was a bit too oily. Despite the slightly firm gyoza and oily tempura, the good sake, generous portions, and relaxed atmosphere made for a very enjoyable lunch. The highlight for me was sipping the remaining sake and enjoying the nigiri.

Taste is subjective, and what one person finds delicious, another may not. However, there are certain universal aspects of dining, such as customer service, cleanliness, communication, and overall hospitality, that every restaurant should strive to deliver. My reviews reflect the complete experience, not just what's on the plate. We decided to try Hasu Teriyaki & Sushi in Folsom for the first time and brought the kids along. Unfortunately, the experience got off to a rough start. When we walked in, there were several open tables, but no one greeted us or explained whether we should seat ourselves or wait to be seated. A female employee saw us but didn't provide any direction, so we picked a table ourselves. After waiting for a bit with no acknowledgment, I had to get up and grab menus on my own. We spent about eight minutes deciding what to order (never easy with kids), but still no one came by. After another several minutes, I finally walked the few feet to the register and asked, "Are we supposed to order here or at the table?" The response was simply, "Yes, order here." After placing my order, I was immediately prompted to add a tip before receiving any service, which is something I personally find frustrating. Then I grabbed our cups to fill our drinks myself, only to find the ice machine was out of ice. At that point, it felt like we were striking out on every opportunity for a good first impression. It appears there's only one employee handling both the register and the dining area, which may explain some of the confusion. If that's the system, it would really help to have a sign letting customers know to seat themselves and order at the counter. There are only about seven tables inside, but without any guidance, the dining experience is confusing for first-time visitors. Once the food arrived, it was presented nicely. I ordered the Rainbow Roll and Dragon Roll, and visually they looked great. Unfortunately, I found the flavors to be underwhelming. The sushi was very mild, and even the wasabi had almost no heat. I added far more wasabi than I normally would, yet it barely had any kick. For someone who really enjoys sushi, the overall flavor just didn't stand out. The kids' non-raw rolls were also just average. To her credit, the employee did check on us twice after the food arrived, and she was friendly. I think she recognized that I was frustrated after spending roughly 15 minutes in the restaurant without any acknowledgment or explanation of how ordering worked. Overall, the experience wasn't terrible, but it wasn't one that makes me eager to return. Between the confusing service, lackluster first impression, and sushi that was simply average, I'd probably look elsewhere next time.
