A lot of air conditioning companies in town get bad reviews and Justly so. Not alpha air. I got quotes from a half a dozen companies. Somewhere high somewhere low somewhere negotiable. Arthur came out looked at everything gave me a quote exactly what I knew it should be. No hi balling. He was so good I just set it on the spot to go with his company. He's the owner. He said he would be out on a certain day at a certain time and they showed up right on time. He said they would have it done in one day. They did. I had two large air conditioning units that they couldn't carryBetween my wall and the swamp box, they had a crane come out within an hour and put them in. I'm sure there are other qualified air conditioning companies. I only know alpha air Did a great job for me not use them again I'd recommend them to my family. read more

One of our A/C units broke down, unfortunately it was the one for our master bedroom. Alpha air was prompt and fixed the problem quickly. The tech did argue with me over how my zoned system worked and claimed one of the areas was blowing cold air when it wasn't, but once he dug into the issue, he fixed both issues quickly and got both areas blowing cold air again. This is the second time I've had Alpha Air work on my system, the first was on the HVAC blower. I'd work with them again. read more

When Alpha air employee came out for a/c maintenance, it was not going to work, I sent him away before he did anything. I called Artur the owner, explained that the employee they sent out didn't want to do the full job only part. He apologized offered to come out himself do it for free whatever it took he said his employee was new and he would deal with it he even also offered me a year free maintenance. That was very nice I took a couple days thought about it I called him back Arthur came out did maintenance on my AC very nice pleasant professional gave me a great deal on a part that that was needed showed me everything, cleaned up everything had informed me he talked to his employee and he's going under additional training I definitely would recommend alpha Air Artur really cares about his company and his customers. This was about as perfect as an A/C repair situation gets. I called Alpha Air, they called me back five minutes later, asked if they could come in THIRTY MINUTES because they were near the area. My dog had chewed through the AC wires, and they popped on over, redid the wiring, charged me a hundred bucks. Whole experience was like 90 minutes. From the looks of the other reviews, many other people are having similar great experiences. One of my favorite things: They gave me an initial estimate of $125 maximum, and then didn't charge me the whole $125. Highly recommended. read more

Had a 20yo York system that had given no trouble till this year (heat). Called the original installer (S---a) (900+ to fix) and think about a new system. Thanked him and sent him on his way. Called L----y they did a fix for 300. and a quote for a 16 seer 4T & 3.5T Amana. Called Artur at Alpha Air, came the same day and gave us a quote on the same system but in Trane. Got a 3rd quote that was off the chart. Decided to go with Alpha Air. Artur set up a day to do the instillation and showed up on time. My A/C went out in a middle of the day during this hot summer. I have a newborn just came home from the hospital that can get overheated with a 95 degree temperature in the house. I didn't get service from Alpha Air because they do not service the type of air conditioning unit that I have. But I still give this company 5/5 stars because of the customer service I received. The owner responded quickly to my Yelp quote request. He gave me the number to call to schedule an appointment to repair my AC unit. The receptionist that I spoke with asked me specific questions about my AC problem then explained to me that I have a Zoned system. She advised I notify future AC repair companies about my zoned system. She further explained in layman's terms what is probably the problem with my unit... all this within a 5 minute phone conversation. I learned more about my AC unit and the problem I'm having in a free 5 min phone call than the $90 diagnostic evaluation I already paid for 2 weeks prior when I had the same issue, but happened to fix itself on its own. I called Alpha Air to get a general idea on pricing to replace my broken AC unit. Artur was able to drive down to my house (while I was stuck at work) and gave me a free and very competitive quote within the hour. I also dealt with Lily (or Lilly?) to discuss loan options and she was extremely friendly and easy to talk to over the phone. I called a few other companies... Update 7/6/20 (response to Artur): Thank you for your response, Artur. That is not how I remember the details of your visit. The cost of the circuit board quoted was a little over $1,000. My handyman is a licensed HVAC repairman, however, he did not provide the second opinion. That opinion was provided by Action Air and I have receipts for the back-to-back visits by both you and Action Air. Action Air explained that my unit was on the older side and would eventually need to be replaced but in the meantime, the pilot light had gone out and that was a 5-minute fix. I told them about your "fire hazard" photos but they did not think the circuit board needed to be replaced. That second opinion saved me a needless $1000+ repair. We had an amazing experience tonight with Arthur from Alpha Air. He was very honest, professional, and fast. He even came at 10:00 pm on a Friday night to fix our A/C at no extra charge! There was no service call fee whatsoever! We got a quote from a different company before we contacted Alpha, and the other company tried to charge us an arm and a leg for a fan motor part they said was bad. What more can I say, that the other reviewers haven't? I want to echo that Artur is very professional and competent. I have a major pet peeve for contractors being late (without notice), he was on time and fast! We had him come out to provide a quote on another service, but he let us know that the job was better suited to a handyman. I figured since he was here I may as well have my furnace serviced and one of my new thermostats installed. He gave me some great helpful hints for how to keep my house running smoothly and safely. We certainly will be having him come back when he reminds us (at my request) to do ouf annual A/C servicing. BTW - I asked to have that servicing done now and he said he could do it, but it wouldn't be complete, because it is too cold to check everything right now. First of all, Art, thank you for answering the after hours request for service! I had been home earlier in the evening and the cold air was blowing. All this week we've been under excessive heat warning, so it always a good thing when you step thru the door and the house is cool. I go out for dinner with the family & return a few hours later and I was not so lucky on the return...thermostat was reading 81 and climbing. My AC went out last night, I didn't realize it until around 7:30 when I put my 6mo old down to sleep and her room was in the 90s. I saw our thermostat said 74 but nothing was blowing so immediately put quote requests out. Artur was the first to respond, literally within minutes. This was around 7:45pm, he arrived at 8:20p, noticed my compressor went out, had it fixed and running by 8:30. The whole process from quote, arrival, and fixed was less than an hour.
