I tried to post this review on Google, and to respond directly to Bob's before posting a review but…read morethey don't have an easy way to give them feedback. They do have polite people and do decent work but I did not have a good experience with their repair business. An annual inspection turned up a couple of small problems - low refrigerant in a system and a nearly failed condenser fan in another. No argument with that conclusion so I said go ahead with fixes. Got the invoice and should have paid more attention - a price gouge of epic proportions. Here's what I sent them that got rejected by their system: PS - registered professional engineer who should have paid more attention. 'I was not here when this work was finished, and I have no issue at all with the technician and work performed. He was professional. I agreed to all of the work. But I regret now not doing additional homework on the cost. A one pound 410a add should cost more like $100 at the high end all in. Easy to find on google or Yelp), given you can get a 25 lb Jug in the range of $250. And yes, there is labor and overhead in that , but for for a 30 minute job $325 seems excessive. I also was able to source the replacement fan motor with an identical Lennox model# from a number of sources- from around $200. Again, that doesn't include labor. So if I'm generous, you got $300 in parts, add 20% for miscellaneous. And yes, I get that there is 'Bob's guarantee' and you have overhead, but an 1800+ bill for less than two labor hours of work, make it 3 with travel time and even at 150 per hour - and maybe 450 in parts and material -the total markup at 2x is to me excessive. Plus your billing is deficient in the level of detail so it's even hard to understand how you could add it up to that much. My wife paid the bill of course, but with these prices even though the service is good I won't be using or recommending Bobs for repairs in the future. I'll do my homework.' PS - last postscript. You may have noticed Bob's no longer responds to Yelp reviews. Must be too busy. Or they don't care. Neither one is a good sign.

We also lost our furniture due to last home making my whole family sick from mold in the HVAc due to leaks. I know the APCOX pricing wholesale, the model I looked at is approx $ 900 dollars. I know the company needs to mark up to install and make a living but the quote I got was way beyond the normal mark up and upselling. The tech quoted that me I needed a duct clean on a 2 year old home, and put a quote for an April Aire that I did not ask for nor discuss into the quote in addition to the APCO X. The quote was an eye popping $11,000 dollars! Not only is this insulting to my intelligence but when I called the company they didn't care.

She asked me all the right questions and explained that they would be able to help me today. She was very personable and professional, and she made me feel like my situation and I really mattered. I am a senior citizen, and I find that people don't always get that kind of treatment nowadays. Nick, the technician, showed up at my house less than 3 1/2 hours later. He was very thorough and knowledgeable. After running some diagnostics, he opened up the unit inside my home and then the outside unit as well. He explained to me each step of the way what needed to be done to repair my AC. I was amazed at how he had completed it all and had something like 50° air coming out of all of my floor vents in a little more than an hours time. Caroline and Nick are both assets to Mr. Cool's business, and I can honestly say they were my angels for the day as well. The cost was very reasonable, and definitely less than what I thought it might have been. Mr. Cool's has become my "go to" if/when I have any other trouble with my AC or heating. As a result, the system was not performing properly. There was a leak in refrigerant, was short cycling and wound internally shut off, and was not configured properly for zoned system. The existing system was installed when we purchased this house new in 2018 but was contractor grade. Ryan provided a couple of solutions but decided to replace. Very good price for a better quality system. The install techs, Roger and Dom, completed the install today. Very professional and went extra to be sure zone system was functioning properly. Definitely made the right choice.

Moving forward, my A/C needed repair as it was not working at all. They came out during regular business hours the next day and although it took Matt a few hours to diagnose the problem, I appreciated the thoroughness. He fixed the problem, a burned out contactor. The part was covered under the factory warranty. It took him approximately 40 min to replace the part. After the service was complete, the labor charge was $250/hour X 2 hours of labor. After some negotiation, they reduced it to one hour, however, from my research the usual and customary labor fee in Las Vegas is $75-150/hour. I was going to sign up for their biannual plan for cleaning and maintenance of HVAC but , heaven forbid they find something wrong, I can't afford the labor that would go along with the repair! I feel that while Alpha Air is a good company, their labor fees are extraordinarily high. I hope to find a more reasonable company for future use.

Our technician, Jeremy, was courteous, professional, and thorough throughout the entire visit. He followed all safety and cleanliness procedures, including wearing shoe covers, and clearly explained what he was doing every step of the way and what needed to be done to resolve the issue. Jeremy also pointed out other items he observed during the service that may need attention in the future. He explained which items were more critical and the potential consequences if left unresolved. I appreciated that he provided recommendations without any pressure and emphasized that the decision was completely ours. Overall, we had a great experience with Super Service Cooling. I've been meaning to contact them for a 3rd perspective so the raffle win happened to be perfect timing. Jamal came out to complete the complimentary tune-up & the experience was superb! He took photos of everything he serviced, offered to have me tag along so I can understand the processes he was completing & thoroughly answered any/every question I had. His findings were similar to the other two companies I received two quotes from... a new a/c system is need (oy...). The difference was, he was very thorough in explaining why he felt the replacement was needed & showed concrete facts of why. Even emailed me a copy of his photos/videos and notes so I could show my husband when he got home. Jamal completed his professional service, made sure all my questions were answered and scheduled for me to talk to a manager abut options and pricing. I was hesitant to move forward, but the replacement was inevitable. I could have rode it out until the unit was on its last string, but this is Vegas. I wanted to be preventative. Plus, 3 neighbors' units crapped out within the month. I didn't want to be the 4th in the height of a hot summer. Queue in Larry. He was beyond professional. Personable even. I was ready for the upselling and pushiness, but the experience never came. He went over Jamal's findings with me once more. Explained his recommendations for new units & even suggested an extra vent install for better performance. The kicker? He didn't deviate from his initial guesstimated price as he continued to include various extras that would help us put our best foot forward. Who does that? Bumble Breeze apparently lol. After everything was said & done, I told him I wanted to talk it over with my husband & make sure we can afford the financing. No pressure or pushiness on his end. We even agreed on a date of no contact if he never heard from me to ease the indecisiveness. He followed up with me & offered an additional incentive where I couldn't say no. BumbleBreeze with the install, maintenance/extended warranties & extra razzle dazzle of free dryer vent cleaning and sanitization ended up being almost $10k cheaper than my other two quotes!! No brainer. We came up with a comfortable number, finance plan/budget and the appt for install happened in no time. Jesus & Curtis came in and completed the install. Just like Jamal and Larry, both gentlemen were courteous, professional & friendly. They were mindful of my home and their mess during the whole process. They kept me in the loop as the process went on too. They gave me a tour of the finished product & explained filters and my new thermostat. Curtis made sure any of my questions were answered and explained how beneficial the new unit will be overall before they left. They explained a tech will be in contact complete the process with a duct sanitization and cleaning as well as the promised free dryer vent cleaning. Devin came a couple days later to finish the job. Just like all the rest, he was professional, courteous and friendly. He completed the vent cleaning & sanitization process. He took before & after photos/videos that I got emailed a copy of for my records. He made sure the team prior was thorough with the initial tune-up, inspection and install. He even took a photo of the filter recommendation sticker on the unit while he was in the attic to make sure I had all the info I needed. He explained the duct maintenance schedule and went on his way. As a home owner, dreaded big purchases like a new a/c unit in Vegas is traumatizing sometimes. However, Bumble Breeze made this experience as positive as it could be. I see the reviews and posts about post-install trauma and maintenance. I'll definitely update my review if I experience anything negatory like that. However, from this current experience, I'm confident with my experience moving forward. Thanks so much!!

A preliminary evaluation of the site requirements should have been carried out at the beginning of the process. This would have avoided unnecessary delays and wasted time for all parties involved. Based on this experience, I cannot recommend this provider for commercial HVAC assessments requiring planning, coordination, and technical qualification.

My A/C went out last weekend (of course during the hottest part of the summer) and I had no idea who to contact. There seems to be 10,000 A/C companies in this town which makes it difficult to know who is good and who is bad. I asked my neighbor - who has been in the Las Vegas Valley for over 40 years - if they had anyone who they knew that was good. He told me he has used Right Now Air for 10+ years and they were the only company that I was allowed to use! I called and spoke to a very nice lady who was able to get someone to my house later that afternoon. Just like they promised, they called me when they were on their way and when the gentleman arrived, he was incredibly friendly. It's always a little uncomfortable letting people like that into your house but Tyrone was so nice and funny that I felt like we had known each other for years after 5 minutes! He inspected my unit and attic for about 20 minutes and determined what the problem was. He came down and gave me several different options. I never once felt like I was "being sold". Since my house is about 10 years old, I was concerned that my unit is in the early stages of maybe needing to be replaced. However, Tyrone was very honest and professional. He told me we could fix the problem for a few hundred dollars and that should hold me over for several more years. He said my unit was in great shape except for the one part that went out. He had the part there that needed to be replaced so he fixed it in less than an hour. Tyrone was incredibly ethical and straightforward. And he has a great sense of humor as well! I have dealt with a number of different contractors over the last few decades and I have never felt so comfortable and taken care of as I did with this company. I even bought my neighbor a thank you card for referring such a great company. I know i'll have to replace my entire system someday and I will DEFINITELY use Right Now Air. As a Las Vegas native, I see my share of HVAC vehicles driving throughout the valley, hear several commercials on the radio and receive a great deal of promotional mail with deals and discounts. With that said, when it came time to have my A/C unit serviced before the heat of the summer (which as we know, we will hit triple-digit temperatures in May), there was a decision to make. Right Now Air did not disappoint. From the moment I called, the friendly office staff got me scheduled right away and even worked around my schedule to ensure they came at a time that was convenient. On the day of, they called in advance to let me know they would be dispatching the technician, what his name was and when I could expect him. That was a big deal for me and made me feel safe knowing in advance who I could expect. He introduced himself upon arrival and was extremely friendly, thorough and serviced my two units in a timely and efficient manner. To make a long experience short, I will never use any other company when it comes to my HVAC needs. Have lived in Las Vegas for over 50 years, and have had many service Companies over the years. These guys might not be the cheapest, but as the old saying goes you get what you pay for. Honest, on-time, reliable and stand behind their work, and yes, they have been around a while and will probably be here for years to come, pretty hard to find that in Southern Nevada. When we look for people to work in our home, we are looking for professional work to be done at a fair price, and we always get that with these guys. We have had 3 different technicians at our house in the last 4 years, everyone of them have been top notch guys, and never tried to give us the high pressure sale like I hear from my friends and neighbors they get from other Companies. Also have recommended these guys to 1 other family member and a couple of friends, all report back the same honest, professional service that we have got from them. I am not one who writes reviews, but with A/C guys in Vegas, it is tough to find one that you can trust and want in your house, so felt like we should "blow their horn" for them!!!! read more

I had used Right Now Air to maintain my HVAC unit ever since I bought my house and when I had a cracked heat-exchanger and it was time to replace the unit, they showed me pictures and fully explained the problem and its possible consequences. Having accepted their quote for a new system, they installed it professionally and cleanly and have maintained the new system for me ever since. They make sure that their employees meet their high standards from the first contact with the office staff to training the technicians to be able to diagnose and fix the problem. They operate with a high degree of integrity and honesty but for me, the really good thing about Right Now Air is the fact that they have been around for a long time which give me the confidence to know that if my system has a problem while it is under warranty, they will be there to fix it for me. read more

What a great company and a great experience. Our unit went out late weekend evening and was able to get an early morning appointment. Their tech person, Jose was super polite, courteous and beyond professional. He showed up on time, wearing a mask and put on shoe booties before entering our home. Was more than happy to have me watch him while he worked and made sure to put on and remove his shoe coverings each time he went from inside to outside our home. We ended up asking for additional work/inspection and it was done with no issue. Their prices are very completive if not better than many places in the area. The tech was not pushy in any way, did not try to upsell me things I didn't need. Coming from an HVAC background it was nice to see and to say the least, very impressed. Joey was my tech yesterday and today. He came yesterday in 114 degree heat. Diagnosed problem as needing a new expansion valve. He told me he would be back in the morning assuming part was available. He arrived next morning about 930am. He spent a couple hours on the roof installing the new part. A super nice guy and very professional. I would recommend him personally to anyone. Very knowledgeable. Thanks Joey. Bob Pringle Mark had to come out today to correct a minor problem that the technician did yesterday. He got here early and corrected and explained what the problem was. Very informative and made sure I was satisfied before he left. This outfit is just first class. Many years ago they replaced our HVAC system out here in Las Vegas and each year we have them look in on our system a couple of tmes. We've been lucky for some time to have one of their top techs, Bob, take care of us. Last week he replaced our old thermostat with a Honeywell Prestige Wi-Fi unit. We spend time each month in both our Las Vegas and Chicago area homes and have three of the Honeywell Prestige thermostats back in the midwest. Love 'em. Bob did a superior job--extremely knowledgable, professional and, at the same time, friendly. Right Now Air has been servicing my air conditioner and furnace since our home was built in 1996. Scott and Larry were able to keep them running for 20 years when, in December of 2015, we decided it was time to replace them even though they were still working. I am sure that Scott and Larry were pleased with the news that we were going to retire the "Old Faithfuls" My wife and I called Right Now Air and told them the good news. I'm not sure, but I think that Scott and Larry had a party that night. In 20 more years, when I am 110 years old, I will replace both units again. AMAZING COMPANY! We had been taken through the ringer with our home warranty sending out non reliable technicians. Our entire unit shut off and in a panic we called Right Now Air. We got connected to Craig who calmly scheduled to come and see our system, he was over within 2 hours, climbed on the roof to look at our unit, explained what was wrong, fixed it, and even took the extra step to clean out the dust so that this problem would hopefully stop happening, mind you in 115 degree weather. This company is affordable, fast, efficient, professional, and so kind which is what you need when you are in full on crisis mode! My A/C went out on a Saturday afternoon in the middle of 110 deg heat wave. When I called the on-call technician he was very courteous and thought ahead to see what kind of motor was in my outdoor unit fan to make sure he had one in the work truck before heading to my house. The mechanic gave me a fair appraisal of the situation and didn't try to upsell me. He ended up replacing the fan motor and threw in a capacitor for the fan and compressor with no extra cost. When a home inspection revealed some problems with the air conditioning systems in a home we were buying recently, Bob at RIGHTNOW was the only person I thought to call. He came out very quickly considering the demands for service all over the valley with 110+ temperatures; he identified the problems and submitted an estimate to the seller's agent. After we closed escrow, Bob came out as promised and took care of the items needing attention at a reasonable price. I have been a client of Right Now Air for many years. I never hesitate to recommend them to anyone. I have lived in Las Vegas for 60 plus years and finally found the best when they were recommended to me. Their technicians are extremely knowledgeable and always explain what they are doing. Two days ago at night my AC unit was not cooling. Yesterday I called Right Now Air at 8:00 am. The lady at the front desk was very friendly and helpful. At noon Harry showed up and did a very thorough evaluation. Turned out the expansion valve was not working right. He called his office right away and ordered the parts. This morning Joey came before 8:00 am and completed the job nicely. The unit was up running within a day and with reasonable price! My heat stopped working. I contacted the original installer and found he had retired selecting this company to take over his business. Right Now had a technician at my home within one hour. Always consistently good, and professional. Have been a customer for many years and belong to their seasonal routine maintenance club. I have never had a problem with anyone there, or with any scheduling or appointment times. I just had my latest check-up and Kevin G. (one of the Techs that I had never seen before), was as courteous and professional as any of the "old veterans" that we've come to know over the years. I have a service contract so I get a free air conditioning and heating tune up every year. The Technician...Chad Filbert came today to do the tune up on heating system. He was very through, efficient and professional. Upon completion of the tune up he explained in detail what he had done and said everything was in order. We have been with Right Now Air for over 10 years and have always been very satisfied with their service. We have used Right Now Air in the past for HVAC services. The reason we continue to use them is their excellent service, prices and most of all, their technician. Our tech Jose is quite simply the best HVAC person we have encountered in Vegas is the last 6 years. Right Now Air is prompt, courteous and honest in their work and prices. Not one did we feel pressured into having work done that was not needed. Jose was polite, patient, tidy and thorough. I highly recommend the company and if possible, ask for Jose . Right Now Air has been taking care of our AC systems since about 1990. I wouldn't use anyone else. They are always fair and always friendly. We had to replace a few units recently and the new York units are amazing. I probably could have found cheaper units around town, but as the old saying goes, you get what you pay for. We will be staying in this house for many years and we don;t want to have to deal with new units again for a long time. These guys can be trusted, and that is the most important thing for me. read more

Great company to bring to your house. I left on a special trip and left my wife and 3 kids home . Next day motor condenser went bad and this guy Marc came right away and replace it in less than than one hour after he knew that i have a new baby born in the house. I contacted him from overseas and he was so helpful and he did all he could to do the job on friday after he knew that my family passed a horrible night without the ac. The motor on my AC seized last summer and despite the fact that my unit is almost 16 years old the tech replaced just the motor like I asked. They just did a tune up on my heater and I told the tech I was hoping for another year or two; he showed my the wear on the system and said as long as I was aware of the age and intended to replace it that it should make it another year at least, and didn't push me into any costly repairs. I will definitely have them out again to keep my AC tuned up this summer. read more

Additionally, the thermostats are set to 62 degrees which she was advised was too low and could blow out the unit. Unfortunately, here we are again dealing with issues with the AC.
