I honestly expected I would need to wait at least a few days till my dryer was back to drying again. I called Tommy for my Speed Queen washer repair. He sent his tech over the same day and he found a broken and deteriorated drive belt needed to be repaired. He replaced it and then they found another problem with the motor. they tried to replace that, but it still did not fix the problem. He recommended at that point that the damage was total. He took back the belt and motor and only charged me for the initial diagnosis even though they spent many hours attempting to fix it. High praise for their effort and honesty. read more

Came across Alpha & Omega though our Home Warranty Co .. Our Dryer and Washer had issues. Co Owner Tommy came as scheduled and diagnosed the problems. Parts had to be ordered. They called back a few days later to schedule the appt. after parts came in. They were good in calling me on when they were headed to my house so I did not have cut out of work too early. I give them props for fast response. I had an issue with the paddle for my water dispenser on my refrigerator. They responded and were able to get a tech out the same day. Cost $49 that would apply as a credit against the repair. Great! But the repairman looked at the issue for less than 1 minute before declaring the entire unit had to be replaced. He then took some pictures and got the model number and left. When I received the quote for the repair, it was exorbitant. The paddle had broken on my water dispenser and it was $500. They also pestered me several times about the $49 payment which i had already paid and they demanded evidence. I did a bit of googling and found the part for under $40 and easy YouTube instructions to fix it. When I called to highlight this ridiculous quote, they said "congratulations on fixing it yourself". Never using them again but two stars because they were super responsive! read more

I used Yelp and the LG site to locate a company to assess and potentially repair our LG fridge. The lower, craft ice machine had broken and shortly thereafter the upper one did as well. I spoke with a few companies and paid a service for two to come review the issues. The other company was in our home 15 min, provided a quote for $900, and collected the service fee and left. He never followed up and provided terrible service. The total opposite is Alpha and Omega, who ended up being who we went with. They were so communicative, thorough, reliable and kind. They never pushed to go one direction and what I loved the most is that Tommy took the time to show me the issue, how he was testing, etc. This gave me confidence in their work. We even ended up using them to repair another appliance. I'm certain we will continue to use them should the need arise in the future. read more
