I have been going to alpha nails for two years to get my nails done. They are super great quality for this area and I used to love them. My friend today has prom in three days and wanted to get his nails done for the event. The workers there told him that he had to wait for all the other women there to get their nails done first before him. They have lost my business for good. This is the best place in Stroudsburg or East Stroudsburg to get a pedi/mani hands down; much better than many fancy spa/salons. They are a family run business and they care about cleanliness of their salon and the quality of the service they give. They never rush through the service just to get through and to the next person. They also are very knowledgeable about nail health in general. I do not go anywhere else for a pedi/mani, including gel manicures. THE BEST!! read more

I witnessed the tech named Tracy being extremely rude to a client. The client politely corrected her for using the wrong color. Tracy insisted that the client should apologize for her "tone" which was in no way rude. The client politely stated that she hadn't been rude and that Tracy was in fact being rude to her. Tracy told the client not to come back if she didnt like it. I spoke up and the manager approached ME and refused to address the tech. I was asked to leave for speaking up about the disrespectful behavior. I already had a service done and asked for the price because it wasn't posted. The manager/owner told me I couldn't read and overcharged my card. I don't like to put race into everything but I saw them attend to a white client who came in with an open blister and a cracked toenail. So to see the treatment that the black woman received for politely correcting the tech was beyond acceptable. They do not respect people of color. They are only interested in the green. They do not deserve to be in business if they cant respectfully tend to the people who live in the community and support their business. read more

i made a appointment with tracy on march 1, 2022. she literally told me she wasn't available and i ask about tee said okay at 10 or 2pm. i informed her 10am with tee, i came in for my appointment waiting 10 minutes and i ask if tee was here and tracy stinking ass attitude said i told you we wasnt available. that was not clear over the phone! she said i put you with the owner or the guy i dont even know his name. i informed all of them i definitely made a appointment with tee. his big ass owner said well since you made a appointment with tee i can't do your nails. i said to him what was the difference when i walked in here. he got mad because tracy made a miscommunication over the phone with me and your going to decline me and get jealous i wanted tee, this place would never get my business ever again. learn how to speak clearly over the phone so people don't get confused. fuck tracy and the big ass man do not do business with them everrr!!!! this why i got to a private nail tech tipbybritt with reasonable prices!!!! with design introduced!!!! do not book with them read more

I came in with two other friends on a Tuesday afternoon without an appointment and they were able to take us quickly. First impressions are everything and the place was very clean and bright. I had a basic pedicure done by a very nice woman named Lee. She didn't rush through the pedicure and took her time painting my nails. I would definitely recommend this place. They do some great nails but customer service is terrible! I don't know if it's because me and my sister looked younger that they thought they can just push us back but me and my sister went to go get our nails done before we were to leave to a family vacation and we left school early because we wouldn't have time later on for we had to do other vacation things and we got inside and sat there for a short 15 minutes before they had us go and start soaking our feet to begin our pedicures. We were sitting there soaking our feet for almost two hours. Our feet felt disgusting. After almost two hours of us soaking our feet my sister said something to the workers because we noticed people coming in and getting taken care of even though we were there for much longer. A lady had come up to us and asked us if we would be able to come in tomorrow since they were getting busy. We had explained that we wouldn't be able to be because we would be in a different country by then. AND WE ALSO HAVE BEEN SOAKING OUR FEET FOR 2 HOURS ALREADY. She then asked if we could come back later which was even more annoying because if she would've told us that before she had us soak our feet for that long we could've done our other vacation errands with the two hours we had just wasted. Later on that day we ended up coming back which was a mistake and my father had dropped us off this time and he made a comment on how long we waited earlier in the morning and then the workers kind of laughed it off but then when I was taken in the waxing room for my eyebrows and lip, a female worker began to tell me that I should tell my father it wasn't their fault and it was basically our fault and how we had to wait so long and that we should've made an appointment but then if you were to call the salon and ask if you needed appointment they would proceed to say no appointment needed just come on in. Somethings not adding up. I understand some places can get very busy but at least say it when someone walks in and not have them soak their feet right away and then let them continue soaking their feet for that long. Instead of leaving w my feet feeling freshly pedicured they felt the worse they have ever been and felt completely disgusting. I will not be returning back to this salon. read more

I came here about a month ago to get nails done for prom and I was over the moon they were great a small wait even tho we had an appointment. Then yesterday we had appointments for 5:30 and didn't get in until after 6:00. Then I wanted to do a pink and white gel set the lady who did my nails used a nail tip to pop them off and the first nail she did was my pinky finger and she couldn't get the nail off and dug harder resulting in my nail breaking in half down the center and me bleeding. Instead of apologizing she said "why didn't you tell me it hurt?" And then went on to pop off my other nails leaving me bleeding and half my bloody nail was left on her table. She didn't tell me to wash my hands or help stop the bleeding she used some sort of powder to stop it and then just slapped a tip over it. Meanwhile my mom paid for a pedicure and sat there for over 1/2 an hour waiting with her feet in the water because her guy kept going back and fourth between 3 different people. And to top it off they still charged me 100 for everything even though u broke my nail in half. With no apology. Disappointed to think we found our new nail place and now the search is back on :( read more
