I love alpha and their whole team. I was recommended by friends and have been consistently going since Dec 2024 and you can see the health, strength and quality of my nails improve through the months. The photos are my natural nails with hard builder gel and gel polish, no fake tips! I've never had a broken nail or any issue going 4+ weeks between fills and I am hard on my nails (cleaning, gardening, etc.) Each person is reliable, respectful, talented and fasttt. I'm out in under an hour and even with a simple design or pedi, 90 minutes tops which is so convenient. I'm quite picky (aka annoying) with the details, they've been patient with me and always receptive to fixing something I didn't love when it comes to shape, color, or design. Although you will be satisfied if you stop in for a one time appointment, this business is perfectly catered for long term customers. Came here last minute for a gel manicure and pedicure and was so happy they could accommodate me last minute AND that they schedule appointments using text! I am not great on the phone so using massive text for someone has awkward as me really takes some of the pressure off of tripping over my words! They have a great color selection and when I sent them my inspo they made a wonderful color recommendation! They also DO NOT do nail art for gel manicures without the gel extension, but for a little squiggly line on a couple fingers - they were able to accommodate! They are definitely more pricey than the other places I've been in the area, but honestly I'm pretty happy with their work and didn't feel like bailing at any point during the session. The environment is also calm, quiet, and relaxing - so it was just such a wonderful treat to get away. For both manicure and pedicure, plus a little squiggle it cost $100, then another $20 for tip so I'm glad only get my nails done maybe 3 times a year lol. This is definitely the spot! read more

It is a pretty quiet environment, but I don't mind that too much. Each appointment I've had has been about an hour of time. Love the results and would come back again! The vibe of this salon is great, and the women who work here are really kind. That being said, the quality of my manicure was low. The manicurist was very aggressive with the cuticle work, and almost half of my nails are now infected and swollen because she went way too deep with the machine. I told her it hurt, and to be more gentle, but she said she needed to clean them up. I've gotten Russian manicures before and it was upsetting to be told I didn't know what was painful vs not. Booking my first appointment here was so easy. The staff was extremely responsive, plus being able to book via text was a huge plus! I came on a Monday evening for a 6 PM appointment and I was pleasantly surprised that it was not busy. It appears that they refrain from overbooking (unlike most other nail salons) which makes for a relaxing environment and amazing individualized service! An did my builder gel manicure with french tips and chrome, and Sammie did my regular basic pedicure. They both did such an amazing job with such care and attention to detail. Their pricing is pretty fair but I'm not entirely happy with the way they shape your nails. I was almond shape nails and I felt that they could've been shaped better. The gel looks kind of thick and the gel polish only lasted 3 days before it started losing shine and chipping given that I do DO A LOT of chores without gloves. But when you get gel done instead of regular polish, it's because it's supposed to last much longer. However, mine really didn't last. read more

Any time I asked someone at Alpha Nails about the colors or design from a photo I brought in, they literally handed me the color books and walked away. I have tried Gel X at many places and Alpha Nails has outdone them all. I was so impressed with An - he was very thorough and such a good artist. He recreated my design inspo perfectly. It was exactly how I wanted. The pricing was reasonable too - $75 for a set and an additional $25 for design. There was a $30 deposit that was deducted from my total. For the quality of work, it was well worth it. I've paid $85+ at other nail salons and they've done really sloppy jobs. An did everything right. My actual nails were trimmed short, cuticles were removed, and the glue was put on neatly so it didn't pile up at the back of my extensions (I hate when this happens!!). An looked at the picture I showed him and asked a few questions to make sure he understands what I want which I really appreciate because I find from other times I got my nail done two people can look at the same picture but interpret it differently and the element you want from the picture is left out because the nail artist was focusing on other elements. I like the way An applied my gel x. He made sure to apply a lot of the base polish (glue?) on the bottom part of my nail. This way he has a thick layer of polish to work with when he files my nails. An wasn't accepting gel x appointments from new clients when I first reached out for an appointment. I reached back out a month after and was able to get an appointment! I was happy with my pedicure too. She took the time to file off as much of my dried skin as possible. read more

I've been going to Alpha Nails since 2017 and there isn't any other nail salon that can provide the quality of service you get here! Please note they are ALWAYS booked & busy, so make sure to schedule your appointments in advance. I generally get a hard gel manicure with Design & gel pedicure. An's designs are amazing & if you show him any inspiration or style you're trying to achieve he will do it, but add his own flare to it. Coming to Alpha Nails has also improved my nail care health and my nails are longer and stronger than ever. Generally you should get a fill every 2-3 weeks, but with hard gel the longest it has ever stayed on was 2 months, which is a long time for a gel manicure to last! My nail technician Emma had great attention to detail and delivered a beautiful gel builder manicure. The appointment lasted 1 hour. I made an appointment 1-2 weeks ahead. Wow after my first appointment at this location, I was SUPER impressed. I booked my appointment via text about 2 weeks out from an event I was attending. They sent a text reminder the week prior to my appointment which I appreciated. They even texted me 30 min before my appointment that they were available and asked if I was able to come in earlier. At my appointment time, there was only 1 other customer getting a pedi done. This was probably the most quiet nail salon I had ever been to! The nail service itself was very efficient and quick. I did a classic french gel mani ($55) which took about 40 min and probably the best french mani I've ever had. I appreciate that the "nude" color they used for the base wasn't just a regular ballet pink color and actually matched my skin tone nicely. To note, they currently only do nail designs on gel-x, not regular gel manis (but I was told classic french was fine). So far, it has been 3 weeks and the mani is still going strong without a single chip. My cuticles still look great as well, and my cuticles are usually the first to go bad lol. read more

Let me start by saying I really had high hopes for this place. The owner, An, offered to do a gel design over my natural nails instead of extensions, which I preferred so it worked out since I have strong nails. However, there was no engagement at all and the customer service wasn't that great. I was happy with the design and afterward asked to book my next appointment in advance. The woman at the front desk asked to text the number. So, I did and I asked for another appointment with An. I was told ok, but was told they will not do another gel design. I asked why? Confused because it was offered to me without asking the first time. They stated because they are short staffed and they only do extensions with designs. I stated okay, I'll do extensions with An. And they then stated they will notify me when An is taking new clients.... Why not just say that the first time? The runaround is ridiculous and the lack of consistency in their "policy" makes no sense. This salon does not seem organized or eager to provide good customer service. read more

I asked for a light pink marble design that I had seen on their website/social media, and he delivered! It looked exactly like the pictures, and the quality has been amazing. So glad I discovered Alpha Nails! The service is excellent, the staff are nice, and the place is very clean. I was able to walk in and have my gel nails removed without an appointment. The procedure was smooth, and my nails were not damaged. They then allowed me to get a regular manicure. Nikki at the front desk was very accommodating and nice. Phillip did an excellent job with my nails. He was so thorough with my cuticles i almost told him he didn't have to be because I was running late. I hate to post this review because I do like how this salon does my nails. I just hate the vibe. My friend who referred me warned me no one talks there which I was okay with because I like to just chill when I am getting my nails done. I like to look online for colors I like and then try and find something similar at the nail salon. Every place I have gone to has always helped me find a color if I needed help. At Alpha Nails, not the case. Every time I ask the lady who runs the front desk (I think she is one of the owners) she clearly is not interested in helping me, no matter how many times I try to ask. Instead she keeps shoving the book with the nail colors in front of me asking if I have chosen a color yet. Pretty comical. Today, I wanted to know what chrome polish does to the base color. It was like pulling teeth so I just went ahead and chose a color hoping it would be similar to the one in the photo. Meanwhile, the owner just went back to her desk and was glued to her phone. Trust me, she was not busy. Needless to say, when I left the salon, my nails were nowhere near the color in the photo I had shown her. She DID NOT have time to help me with the nail color(s) BUT she sure made herself available to collect my money. The owners could learn a lot from the nail techs who do the pedicures. I really wanted to find a nail salon that I can always go to but sadly this won't be the one. The girl that did my nails was super careful and detailed and did exactly everything that I wanted. She was super sweet and kind! But the reason for this 3 star review is because of the overall price and my nails. I left pretty happy because my nails seem pretty okay. I get my nails done every now and then so I know what exactly what to expect. But just a few days after getting a gel manicure from them my fingers were extremely dry and my skin started peeling. The gel polish started to develop some type of bubbles? There were bubbles and weird coloring that was really off putting. Never have I ever saw this before because I've never experienced bubbling on my nails a few days after getting them done. When I make an appointment, I always find that I don't have to wait and they don't seem to overbook. All of the staff are super friendly.
