I'm writing a 5-star review for a company I didn't actually do business with…read more A few weeks ago, I had what seemed like an emergency service need for my refrigerator. And, of course, it occurred on a Sunday afternoon. Knowing that the company handling my warranty would not be available for at least a few days, I searched out to companies that were available 24/7. Orlando Appliance Repair was one of those companies. Upon calling, the customer service rep put me in touch with their field-rep, Igor. I described the problem and he planned to show withing two hours or less ... on a Sunday afternoon! My refrigerator came back online and I contacted Igor to make him aware and cancel my appointment. He understood and just simply cancelled my appointment without fuss or cost. If a company can be this prompt and respective to new clients calling on a Sunday afternoon that they would end up not be getting business from that day, I can only believe that their actual work would be first-rate and I would not hesitate to connect with Orlando Appliance Repair for any related needs in the future.

I found this business on Yelp sorting by rating. I called,…read morethey called back right away. Appointment was a scheduled, I received confirmation. Igor, the tech, was on time. He explained the problem and ordered a part. He scheduled an appointment to return the next day to complete the service call. The next day, he showed up on time and completed the repair. It's been a few days and the problem is fixed. I am not sure if the fee was reasonable. It's the first time I've had to repair an appliance in over 10 yrs. I am very satisfied with the results and the ease of the process.

When our dryer broke down, we hired them to investigate and see if they could repair it. I called…read moretheir number and was greeted by a friendly representative, who informed me of the 20 dollar call free, as well as a 120 dollar fee for them to investigate and if we don't hire them to repair it. The specialist came within schedule, and investigated our dryer. He spent about 1/2 hour to investigate as well as disassemble the control panel and other parts, and mentioned something about the heating element and another component being broken. He informed us that it would be better to buy a new dryer as the costs of repair would not be worth it (around 450 dollars). We appreciated his honesty and told him we will buy a new dryer for a store. Thus, we paid 140 dollars for the specialist to come and investigate, but no repairs. It was definitely costly, but we did appreciate their honestly. I also noticed that he had what looked to be a body camera, which wasn't mentioned. Thus, if being filmed rubs you the wrong way, it may be good to hire someone else. While I would recommend their service, I may check directly with the manufacturers if they do repairs as just the cost of the investigation from Hartman's was quite expensive.

Great Customer Service!!!…read more I called Hartman's Appliance to schedule a repair on my whirlpool front load washer in my MotorCoach, after dealing with another appliance repair company in south Florida during a recent trip and totally getting ripped off but that's another story, I was relieved to find a appliance repair company with integrity. The other repair company I thought had trouble-shot the issue which was a simple door switch but after the Hartman Technician looked at the washer and lookEd online, he found the washer had issues with an interface module that whirlpool has issued a recall that will require me to get authorization through whirlpool before this issue can be resolved but the technician did provide me with all the information I need to get the problem resolved. Being the other appliance repair company stole the door switch part he removed and has refused to ship me the old part, the new replacement part or refund the $148 he required prior to ordering the part. The Hartman Technician installed a new door switch and put the washer back together and walked me through the whirlpool recall / repair process, so they will definitely be involved once things are settled with Whirlpool. I cannot say enough about the customer service they provided from the start of the process which began with Pattie who took down the details and set up the service call, she was awesome and I really appreciate her communication skills, I also know Christine was involved to ensure the tech was provided with accurate information and finally the technician I'm sorry but I think he name was Jason he was very knowledgeable, professional and took great care when working inside my MotorCoach while working on the washer. I hope to work through the whirlpool warranty process as soon as possible and have Hartman complete the repairs. I will definitely call them again anytime I have appliance issues...

Appliance USA Services Corp engaged in a pattern of deceptive and unfair business practices in…read moreconnection with the repair of my LG refrigerator. The company knowingly charged me over $800 for a compressor replacement that was covered under LG's 10-year compressor warranty -- a fact they deliberately concealed. The replacement compressor was defective, resulting in repeated failures over seven months. When I sought accountability, the company refused to provide documentation, concealed ownership information, and demanded an additional $500 to continue service. Specific Deceptive Practices: 1. Concealment of Manufacturer Warranty: Failed to disclose the LG 10-year compressor warranty, inducing payment for a service that should have been free. 2. Defective Workmanship: Installed a defective compressor that failed repeatedly within the company's own warranty period. 3. Failure to Honor Own Warranty: Demanded additional payment for repairs covered under the company's 90-day service warranty. 4. Refusal to Provide Documentation: Denied my right to receive invoices, repair records, and other documentation for services paid for. 5. Concealment of Ownership: Refused to identify the business owner, contrary to Florida law requiring disclosure of ownership for registered business entities. 6. Unconscionable Pricing: Effective rate of approximately $800/hour for labor, which is excessive and unconscionable. 7. Complete Non-Responsiveness: Ignored a formal certified demand letter, demonstrating a pattern of evading consumer accountability.
