I was also advised to take photos to document the date in case I couldn't come in right away. When I came in today, I was told I would be charged because I had gel builder, as if a gel builder manicure is only expected to last four days. I showed the picture and let them know what I was told, unfortunately they do not keep their word. This was very disappointing and completely inconsistent with what I was originally told. To make matters worse, after fixing the nails, the staff did not help me find a color that matched my existing nails and instead rushed me to "make a decision." The entire experience felt unprofessional and customer service was clearly not a priority. Unfortunately, this experience reminded me why I stopped coming here in the first place. It seems the focus is more on making money than on standing behind the quality of the work or taking care of customers. I left feeling disappointed.

For that they put oranges in the water and have four different packets of lotions and things they put on your feet. Only feedback is the selecting of your polish color was a little discombobulated. They don't have all of the choices in one spot and they sit you down before you have a chance to pick and so picking color was a bit of a rigamarole. They need a better system for that. She gave me plenty of options while also offering her expertise on which tones and colors she thought would complement me best--and I really appreciated that. LOVE this place!! Winnie has done my gel manicure twice and it has lasted for 3 weeks both times!! After going to many places for gel manicures, they always end up peeling within a week or turn out bulky and uneven. She makes my nails look natural and it is always perfectly shaped and groomed. Then, it started to chip as soon as I got home. The middle finger just peeled right off as I was washing my hair this morning. I don't do any manual heavy activities, just daily activities like cooking, laundry, etc. 100% of my nails are at least 1% chipped. For that price, I would expect it to last at least a week with minimal chipping. I understand that price goes up with supply costs but quality of service should still remain high. My pedicure still looks good. (Hence the extra star).

First, instead of properly wrapping my nails in foil with acetone (the standard and safe method), the technician placed my hands into bowls lined with produce bags filled with pure acetone -- without even telling me. I thought it was water until my skin started reacting and feeling painfully dry. The smell was so strong it gave me a headache, and at one point she had to cover my hands with a towel because of how overwhelming it was. Next, she used the wrong tool to remove my Gel X nails, which damaged my cuticles. On top of that, she skipped basic cuticle care altogether -- something you expect as part of any manicure service. My nails looked worse leaving than when I walked in. I called afterward to express how unsatisfied I was, and when I returned with my boyfriend, he had to point out how unacceptable the results were. Only then did they fix the damage, and they persuaded me to remove my initial Yelp review. Out of fairness, I did. However, when I came back later for an eyebrow service, the same technician openly gave me attitude -- even sucking her teeth at me -- clearly because I had complained before. That level of unprofessionalism is not okay. Overall, I would never recommend this salon. The lack of proper technique, unsafe practices, and unprofessional behavior toward paying customers is unacceptable.
