Outstanding service! The seamstress/tailor are very professional and amazing in providing you the best service. They have 6+ years of experiences. My appointment consist of 3 separate visits. The first visit is a consultation, than a trial fitting, and than a final fitting. They can work around your schedule if you have a busy work agenda or expedite your outfit if you need it in a week. Alteration Specialist perfected my beautiful embroidered lace gown. For being a very petite person, finding a proper fitting dress was very hard. Luckily, the seamstress/tailor was able to fit everything together flawlessly for my anniversary dress. I will be going back to have them alternate my next outfit. Do not take jeans here. Absolute disaster in doing anything more that simple hemming. Nearly $500 in alterations on 4 pairs of jeans. I have never seen anything like this - photo attached, but crooked belt loops, messy stitching and no bother to match thread color to existing rise seam. Believe most of the female customers I saw had dresses being altered, but I can't review for that. After a second fitting/fix when I spoke to the manager - I accepted a second set of alterations rather than a refund. She actually laughed in my face as I was describing why I was unhappy with the work. I gave up and just consider this an expensive lesson. Will look for personal/word of mouth referrals for future needs. read more

You must see Parvin! She worked on a very intricate bridal dress for me that required tons of work by hand. She was so thorough and friendly, and worked with me to make adjustments I was happy with. The end result exceeded my expectations tenfold, and the turnaround was so fast! During my pick-up appointment, another customer even left her dressing room to see my dress, saying unpromptedly that it looked amazing and "fit me perfectly," which was entirely thanks to Parvin since it needed adjustments all over when I first brought it in. She also altered two skirts for my honeymoon, which look genuinely untouched in the best way possible. Truly so kind and professional and amazing at what she does. read more

So.... I had to buy a size too small in my bridesmaid dress and was freaking out. Googled alteration spots near me and Alts came up. Consultation was quick, easy, and I have hope that this dress will fit!!! Zade is quite talented! Downside is that a hem and letting out will cost me a $440 ... Did the review for $25 off Also, on IG they have a "get $25 off if you spend $100 or more deal" and they didn't credit it. Then, on Yelp it says 10% off for new customers (which I am) and I couldn't redeem it, which would've taken a nice $44 off my bill... PROS: Tailors are knowledgeable. CONS: 1) They charge hidden fees which they don't tell you about until after they've started tailoring your items. 2) They charge different prices than what they show online. When I asked them about it, they told me the online prices are for "children's items". 3) Their prices are steep to begin with ($75 for a jacket sleeve shortening), and then they also upcharge the shit out of you during the "free consultation". read more

She transformed my dress and made me feel like the most beautiful bride! Beautiful job on evening dress hem. Was told to leave a review to receive $30 off of the $55 rush fee. Did not need the unlined dress hemmed for a full week, but was told that it was still a rush job. Oddly, my MIL 2 weeks prior was able to have her lined dress hemmed in under a week without being asked to pay a rush fee. All in all, the hem looks great, but the pricing seems a bit arbitrary and quite exorbitant (my single hem cost $225 before service and rush fees, my MIL's double hem cost $160. Both garments were stretchy fabric evening gowns). Probably best to go elsewhere for simple jobs like a hem and to maybe ask about pricing beforehand. read more

DO NOT GO HERE. BE WARNED... This place is an absolute joke of a company. Long story short, they promised they could make the proper alterations, so we paid them. Turns out they actually couldn't execute on what they promised. They altered our garment, tried to put it back into the original condition, and tell me they would refund me. That's fine, although they have altered the garment from it's original condition, which I think should be noted here. Now they are trying to force me to sign something that says I can't write a bad review of my bad experience, or they won't give me a refund. In summary, they promised something, couldn't execute, altered my garment, offered a refund as if they were doing me a favor, and now want me to sign something to the affect of a non-disclosure agreement. Who the hell operates like this...? It's a horrible company with disgusting practices. I hope the review is helpful because I think it's going to cost $150. lol read more

I had a leather jacket with zippers on the bottom of the sleeve, which I thought would make it impossible to fix, but they proved me wrong! I've been to many of the Alteration Specialist locations and they are all equally fantastic. From the moment you walk into the door, you feel like you are being welcomed into a beautiful living room. The staff is friendly, accommodating, and professional. They clearly know what they are doing and I don't know why I doubted for one second that they may not be able to alter the jacket for me.
