Went through a few shops and finally found this place! Most of the workers only spoke Spanish except for the boss and his brother who spoke fairly good English. Was able to ask them a few things using my broken Spanish. They were extremely helpful and did try to match and find my tyre size to replace for a very minimal cost. However unfortunately they did not carry the size of the performance tyre on my particular vehicle. They did not charge me for refilling the air up, the diagnostic fees, nor try to upsell me anything so I can slowly drive back to the West. Of note, a few of the workers here do smoke though so if you don't, just try to keep distance. Overall this is an awesome, friendly shop, and would come back again given the chance. I took a tire to them for repair. The tire was from a large ATV and it is old, but was still…read moreviable. The leak was easy to find, I located it myself before I went there by removing the tire and wheel assembly from the vehicle and running water on it with the garden hose--the leak was at the bead seal. Such leaks can be repaired with a small amount of sealer applied to the bead. There were no other leaks apparent at that time before I went to their shop. It was hot today so I waited in their waiting area to stay cool. They called me out to show me a different leak, a break in the side wall. I asked the manager and the "mechanic" if they had added air to the tire--the mechanic spoke only in Spanish to the manager and stated that he had put 20 pounds of air pressure in the tire. It clearly states on the sidewall of the tire, right above the leak he created that these tires are to be filled to only 7 pounds of pressure maximum. The additional pressure ruptured an otherwise good tire and now I have to buy a replacement for more than $300.00--I paid then the $15,00 for the repair to the bead, but I will never go back there again. It seems obvious that these people don't really know much about tires and are not really qualified to deal with anything beyond the simplest problems on only standardized materials such as basic automobile tires--they are surely not competitors to places like Discount Tire and other large tire companies. I cannot recommend them to anyone due to the fact that their incompetence will now cost me the price of a new tire when the old one would have been OK if they had not inflated it to more than double the recommended maximum.

Poor experience with quality of work at this place…read more Left with two error codes on check engine light that didn't previously exist and they opened up electric wire harnesses and left all the exposed wires out. Responses from management were wrong, as later verified by further analysis. They kept quoting for further work for problems that didn't exist. One of the codes they wanted $600+ more dollars to "fix" was turned out with second opinion elsewhere to be a cheap camshaft position sensor (under $30) on the exterior of the engine, a five minute fix, one bolt one wire clip. Unfortunately I can't recommend this shop. Still dealing with further damage caused by this shop.

My car registered a serious problem, one of my tires was down to 10%. I had only days to get to my new apartment and deposit the funds or I was in jeopardy of losing the unit. It was a late on a Sunday, so everything, EVERYTHING was either closed or closing. Somehow I found these guys who were the ONLY ones open, but I was 3 hours west of them. These great guys waited 3 hours, 3 HOURS for me to get there, in the pouring rain. I can not begin to measure my thanks to them. I would NOT have made the trip without them. Not only did they wait patiently, swapped my tires in no time flat, like 5 min, but they got me THE RIGHT TIRES. Thus pointing out how back in CA everyone had been giving me the wrong sized tires. The best, most polite, caring individuals I met on the entire trip. I cannot say enough good things about them. And they took 5 bucks off the cost of the tire, EVEN after waiting. Everyone, and I mean everyone, should be this professional. Shame I am never in that area, but if you are, this is the ONLY place to go for car maintenance. They do the job quick, and do the job right. I thank them both again for saving my trip. Now I compare everyone to them, 2 guys from Haiti. They made me proud and treated me better than anyone, and I mean anyone, I have ever gone to. If I am ever in the area, AMC New & Used tires is the ONLY CHOICE.
