The only regret I have is that I did not tip enough for the incredible job both men put into their work! I am not so happy about Always Green Carpet Cleaner. We got a low quote for steam cleaning. I don't remember exactly but it was between the $60s and the $80s. When the man from Always Green arrived, he looked at our carpet, which isn't very big, and said that you have to have a different treatment. The treatment cost $280. I was at work, but my wife was home. I don't blame her for giving in, and agreeing to pay the much higher amount because we had been trying to finish a renovation of our apartment before family members were going to visit and stay for a week. She reasoned that with clock ticking, we did not need looking for another carpet cleaning firm, and with the expected one-week turnover. I found that what Always Green did was an example of the old bait-and-switch routine. I would have preferred that Always Green quote all the different types of carpet cleaning, and not just their least expensive, the steam cleaning. They cited one low price for one kind of carpet cleaning, then on arrival their representative said we need a different, more expensive shampoo type of carpet cleaning. BTW, the more expensive cleaning was okay, not great. I felt that we were taken advantage of. I won't do business with them ever again. read more
