Davis is amazing!!!!!! He made this difficult time for me as smooth as possible and got my baby home to me within a couple days!!!

    Patches, my cat

Losing my sweet girl Patches was one of the hardest days of my life, but thankfully I found Always Here Pet Cremations and was able to give her the care her remains deserved. David was incredibly kind, thoughtful, and patient with us. From the moment we contacted him to the day of drop off, everything went smoothly. David assured me that Patches would be taken care of very well and walked me through the whole process, making sure I knew what to expect. The cost was very low considering the sweet keepsakes, the pickup/drop-off service, rapid responses, and the private cremation. I got my baby's ashes back within 5 days. Thank you again David for your amazing care and compassion with Patches and our family.

When our dog Lambo passed away, it was already close to evening time. However David, answered our call and was quick to honor our beloved pet. Our pet was returned by the end of the week in a beautiful wooden box, his paw print, and a patch of his fur for our family to remember him by. Thank you Always Here Pet Cremations!

Our family's beloved 17-year-old Yorkie, Duke, crossed the rainbow bridge in early June. David embodies the mission of Always Here - "Your Family becomes our Family until we return your Loved One back home to you. Our Family Serving Yours." Although it is his family business, we felt like David is our family friend who deeply cared for us throughout the process. Their website is full of information on their service (pick up, drop off, individual and communal cremation options, pricing), etc. We could trust David completely from the beginning. His professionalism with empathy gave our family great comfort and words cannot describe how grateful we are. Looking back, we cannot help but think Duke led us to David to ease our pain. Thanks to Always Here, Duke will always be here with us.

Our sweet baby Grace was at the end of her amazing 19 year life. We contacted David to inquire about cremation services when the time came and he was so lovely and helpful and responded so quickly to every message. Our girl hung in there and it finally became evident that we needed to help her cross the rainbow bridge. David referred us to Dr. Taylor Campione at "Apawthecary" who came to our home to help us transition Gracie into a peaceful sleep. The whole experience was particularly touching because our adult son with Autism was having an extra hard time letting go. David has such a beautiful spirit and knew exactly what to say to make our son and us feel at peace. A week later, David delivered our Gracie's ashes, along with a clay paw print, and a clipping of her fur back to our home. As much as we were heartbroken, we were also incredibly thankful to David and Always Here Pet Cremations for the time and care they provided to our sweet baby Grace.

    Our Sweet Boy, Forky.

Very empathetic, responsive, and all around nice guy to talk to. We lost Forky April 27. I called David in tears; my husband and I were heartbroken. Forky was and will always be so special to us. I found Forky in Inglewood. He was in terrible condition! He was chipped, and I made contact with the owner, but the owner said to keep him. I take this sweetest boy to the vet. He has heart disease, kidney disease, skin infection, arthritis, blind in one eye, no jaw. I was not going to put him out or take my sweet boy to the shelter. We pay the bill, give him his medication and provide him with all the comfort we could. He meant A LOT to us. He lived two more years despite his health conditions. We were crazy about him and spoiled him so much! He had his own wardrobe, temper- pedic bed, baby blankets, CHI hair products, some of the best human grade organic dog food we could buy, and took daily supplements so he could continue his daily walks. Forky's birthday was March 9. We gave him a bone in New York Strip Steak and sang him happy birthday. He ate the entire thing, even with no jaw. He looked SOOOO happy! I miss his presence, but I'm at peace that he's running around free like a puppy in heaven with no pain. As you can see, we would have never handed Forky over to someone we didn't feel we could trust to care for his body. This is a very difficult experience, but David is in the right field. He will treat your sweet fur baby with respect and kindness. I made the right call.

Losing my cat Bamboozle who was with me 14 years, was the most confusing situation for me. David from Always Here Pet Cremations honestly was God sent he came and got Bamboozle immediately after talking to him made special arrangements for me. Returned my Bamboozle to me and home so fast. I can not tell you how genuine and kindly it was handled.

I lost my dear Skip unexpectedly. I had no idea what to do as I was in shock. Fortunately I found this company. When David arrived, I was so crushed I could barely speak. David was kind, patient and empathetic - which didn't go unnoticed. David returned Skip to me faster than I anticipated - which was great because it felt like he was home again. The box he came in is perfect and the paw print and clay print are keepsakes I'll cherish forever. Finally, I just want to say - I miss my Skip terribly. I would do anything to have him back. I live alone and have no family in California. Skippy was my family and I'm crushed he's gone. He was the perfect dog for me and I'm so thankful to have been his human. I miss you so much Skippy. I hope you're enjoying heaven.

This was one of hardest search on yelp that I have done. But I am truly grateful that I found David. I can't thank him enough for everything he did for us. He responds in a timely manner and was so gentle and caring when picking up our dog Rocky. He made sure he explained every detail from start to finish. He returned him back home in a timely manner, which we really appreciate. 100x THANK YOU DAVID !!!

I have not used this service yet, but I will definitely when the time comes. I spoke to David today for a pre-need inquiry. He was very helpful, patient, and comforting. When it's time for my senior dog Ty to cross the rainbow bridge to doggy heaven I will definitely use this service. David gave me peace of mind and end of time advice.

I paid approximately $380 for my dog's ashes and $80 for the paw prints, and the quality I received was nowhere near what I expected. I have a paw print keepsake from my first dog that was done by a different business, and I assumed I would receive something similar. Instead, the paw prints I received look rushed, unfinished, and unprofessional. The clay impressions have what appear to be fingerprints and handling marks left in the clay, the lettering is uneven and poorly done, and my dog's paw print is barely visible. One of the prints is also dirty and has debris embedded in it. These are supposed to be cherished memorial keepsakes, but they look carelessly made. I was also disappointed with the presentation of my dog's ashes. The ashes were returned in a plain plastic container, with the cremains inside a zip lock plastic bag. For the amount charged, I expected a much more respectful and dignified presentation. I understand that VIP Animal Hospital may not be responsible for creating these items and that the work was performed by Pet Haven Cemetery & Crematory, but as a grieving pet owner, this experience has been heartbreaking. These memorials are irreplaceable, and there is no opportunity to redo them once they are made. I would strongly encourage the crematory to improve its quality control and pay greater attention to the care and craftsmanship of the memorial items it provides. Families trust you during one of the most difficult moments of their lives, and the results should reflect that responsibility.

Not many crematoriums are open on Sundays. I called a number in Van Nuys that I found on Yelp, but the man referred me to Furrever Friends. I'm so glad he did. Heather at Furrever Friends was so kind on the phone and in person. She made the entire process very smooth and easy. She discussed everything with me - their strict cremation process, what to expect with the final package, etc. Honestly, I didn't ask; she just told me. I wasn't functioning very well that day. I picked up Franklin today after only a 4-day wait. At the shop, Heather surprised me with Frank's paw and nose prints on wood and paper! What a thoughtful idea! (I'm sure she told me about it on Sunday, but I really wasn't present.) I almost broke down in front of her when I saw his nose. We used to "boop" that thing! Frank himself is resting in a beautiful wooden box. He's coming home now. Heather, thank you so much for the amazing love and care you showed us! I won't forget you.

I contacted them immediately and was assisted by Heather. She was very kind and helpful over the phone, gave me all the info about the various packages they offer. They offer 3 different cremations packages (private, witness, and communal). I chose to go with private bc witness was more than double the price of private. However, don't be nervous about going with private bc they have numerous ways to ensure that you will be obtaining your pet's remains back even if you aren't able to witness the full process. The private package included a simple urn (a box), paw/nose impression, and fur clipping. In their viewing room, they have numerous urns to choose from and upgrade from the package. Although it was so close to the holidays, I was able to pick up my baby girl the day after christmas. They were kind enough to gift us with a bamboo impression of her nose and paw as an ornament as well. The whole service and communication was truly great. I had no doubt in trusting Heather and her family with taking care of my pet. You can feel how much they care about animals and their passion in helping families get closure and having a beautiful send off for their pets. I will definitely recommend Furrever Friends to all pet owners when it's time to say goodbyes to our fur babies.

I brought my two rabbits in for a visit and ended up being charged for services that were never clearly explained or approved beforehand. One charge was $22.50 for "brushing out poop" from one of my rabbits, which is something I easily could have done at home. I wasn't given any notice that this would be a separate service or cost. They also added a "wound service" charge, which confused me even more. When I asked what it was for, they said they think one of the rabbits might have a soft spot and suggested adding softer padding in the bedding area--but they also said they weren't sure and that nothing else needed to be done right now. It didn't make sense to charge for a wound service when there wasn't a confirmed issue or treatment. My main concern is the lack of transparency. If a clinic plans to perform additional services or add charges, they should explain them and get approval before doing them. Pet care is already expensive, and clients deserve to know what they're being billed for. Unfortunately, this experience left me feeling like unnecessary services were added without my consent therefore we will not be returning.

Earlier that day, he had already been seen by my regular veterinarian, where bloodwork was done. Since they couldn't determine the cause of his illness, they recommended I take him to an urgent care facility. The only reason they referred me was because they did not have the equipment to perform X-rays or an ultrasound. They had already done everything they could at their clinic and wanted my dog to receive the advanced imaging he needed. When I arrived around 12:00 PM, the receptionist told me the wait would be about two hours. I completely understood because it's an urgent care, and I appreciated that they took my dog into the treatment area. I assumed he would at least receive IV fluids to keep him hydrated while we waited, especially because I specifically told the receptionist he wasn't eating, was weak, and needed an IV. I was willing to pay for whatever treatment he needed. As the hours passed, I repeatedly asked for updates. Around 3:00 PM, then again at 5:00 PM, I was told my dog was doing fine and that I would be seen soon. Finally, at about 7:00 PM, we were taken into an exam room. The veterinarian came in and immediately asked what was wrong with my dog. I was surprised because it seemed she hadn't been briefed on why we were there. I had to explain everything from the beginning while feeling overwhelmed after waiting seven hours. When I asked if my dog had been receiving IV fluids during that time, I was shocked to learn that he had not received any IV treatment at all. That was extremely upsetting because I believed he was at least being kept hydrated while waiting. After briefly reviewing the bloodwork from my regular veterinarian, the doctor told me my dog "might have leukemia (CANCER)" before performing any imaging, such as X-rays or an ultrasound. Hearing that was heartbreaking. She then recommended additional testing, including more bloodwork, X-rays, an ultrasound, and other diagnostics, with an estimated cost of around $12,000 just to determine what was wrong. I understand that diagnostics are important and that emergency veterinary medicine is expensive. However, after the lack of communication, the seven-hour wait without IV fluids, and hearing such a serious possibility mentioned before additional testing was done, I no longer felt confident continuing care there. I decided to take my dog home. Over the next two days, I focused on keeping him hydrated, monitored him closely, gently massaged his abdomen, and followed supportive care at home. Thankfully, he eventually passed a large mango pit in his stool. Once it came out, he quickly improved and made a full recovery. He did not have cancer. What scares me the most is thinking about how many pet owners may feel pressured into making heartbreaking decisions because of an initial possible diagnosis or because they simply can't afford the recommended costs. I kept thinking that could have been me. If I had accepted that my dog might have cancer without seeking another opinion or waiting for additional answers, I might have made a decision I would have regretted forever. Thankfully, in my dog's case, that wasn't what was wrong. Looking back, I understand that an X-ray may have helped identify the obstruction, and that is exactly why my regular veterinarian referred me there--they did not have the equipment to perform those tests. However, my experience left me feeling that communication was poor, my concerns were not taken seriously, and my dog waited far too long without the supportive care I believed he would receive. This was my personal experience, and unfortunately, I cannot recommend this facility based on how my dog and I were treated. I truly hope no other family has to go through what we experienced.
