Our Yorkie London passed away on August 25, 2026. We received a couple of pet crematory recommendations from Paws Cause, and this was one of them. This was the best place for us. We were able to drop her off by 10:00 a.m. that same morning. They had a bed ready for her, and we were able to witness her cremation the very next day. When we returned on August 26 for the viewing, the setup exceeded our expectations. London was on the same bed with a blanket over her and looked peaceful. We had about 30 minutes with her and were never rushed. After the cremation, we received her ashes an hour and a half later. Everyone we met was compassionate and helpful. I wish Furrever Friends existed when my other dogs passed. Our dog, Franklin, died on Sunday. For over 11 years, he was a very important part of my family and friends. We are devastated. Not many crematoriums are open on Sundays. I called a number in Van Nuys that I found on Yelp, but the man referred me to Furrever Friends. I'm so glad he did. Heather at Furrever Friends was so kind on the phone and in person. She made the entire process very smooth and easy. She discussed everything with me - their strict cremation process, what to expect with the final package, etc. Honestly, I didn't ask; she just told me. I wasn't functioning very well that day. I picked up Franklin today after only a 4-day wait. At the shop, Heather surprised me with Frank's paw and nose prints on wood and paper! What a thoughtful idea! (I'm sure she told me about it on Sunday, but I really wasn't present.) I almost broke down in front of her when I saw his nose. We used to "boop" that thing! Back in April, my bsf lost her dog and used Furrever Friends to help her with her services. She put her dog down at a vet's clinic and FF offered a service to come pick up her dog directly from the clinic and handled everything that she wanted/needed perfectly. Last week on the 23rd right before christmas, my dog of 14 years passed away at home. I remembered my bsf used FF and I reached out to get their info. I contacted them immediately and was assisted by Heather. She was very kind and helpful over the phone, gave me all the info about the various packages they offer. They offer 3 different cremations packages (private, witness, and communal). I chose to go with private bc witness was more than double the price of private. However, don't be nervous about going with private bc they have numerous ways to ensure that you will be obtaining your pet's remains back even if you aren't able to witness the full process. The private package included a simple urn (a box), paw/nose impression, and fur clipping. In their viewing room, they have numerous urns to choose from and upgrade from the package. Although it was so close to the holidays, I was able to pick up my baby girl the day after christmas. They were kind enough to gift us with a bamboo impression of her nose and paw as an ornament as well. The whole service and communication was truly great. I had no doubt in trusting Heather and her family with taking care of my pet. You can feel how much they care about animals and their passion in helping families get closure and having a beautiful send off for their pets. Long overdue review - it has been a while, and I finally am able to write about it - something I grieve over and think about every single day: the passing of my dog. Losing him was the hardest experience of my life, and finding the right place for his final goodbye was so important to me. This was the only place closest to Orange County that offered witness cremation, and I am so grateful I found it. Heather showed genuine care and compassion during the worst time of my life. Her kindness, patience, and sympathy made an unbearable situation a little more comforting. The customer service here is truly top tier - I could not have asked for better support during such a heartbreaking moment. The only thing I wish for in the future in a witness cremation - is to be able to stay around the entire time, and see my baby's bones come out of the chamber. As crazy as it may sounds, that would have been very comforting to me. I was told we had to leave briefly and come back because another family had to come in - but even leaving made me feel like I was abandoning my boy. I truly hope in the future, for a witness cremation, that they allow grieving pet parents the option to remain closeby throughout the process. Overall, I am very thankful to have found this place. This is a very late post, but next month marks my pups death anniversary, and I can't stop thinking about how upsetting my experience was with this crematory. When my first dog passed, the vet clinic handled the arrangements and worked with this crematory. I was told he would be cremated privately, and I also specifically requested a fur clipping--which I never received. At the time, I was grieving and trusted that everything was handled as promised. A few months later, my second dog was at the end of her life. A mobile vet came to my home for her euthanasia and asked where I'd like her cremated. I mentioned this place, since it's where her brother had been cremated, and the vet said Furrever Friends does home pick-ups. So I called to ask, and the woman who answered the phone was shockingly rude. All I did was ask if they offered house pick-ups, and her response was, "I can't just go around picking up everyone's dog." That alone was completely uncalled for--she could've just said no. Then she contradicted herself and said they do pick-ups but for an expensive fee (I honestly didn't care how expensive it was, I just wanted to keep my dog a while longer after she was going to be euthanized). I was already emotionally drained and overwhelmed, having to say goodbye to my dog in just a few hours, and instead of empathy or simple clarity, I was spoken to with condescension and raised tone. She kept going on about how busy they are and how much work it is. I honestly spaced out at that point because the stress and sadness were too much. Eventually, she seemed to realize how harsh she was being and abruptly changed her tone--offering advice for my dog's final moments. But by then, the damage was already done. I ended up choosing Pet Haven Cemetery and Crematory instead, and they were incredibly compassionate and straightforward. I'm grateful for them, but I wish I didn't have this upsetting memory tied to the same day I lost my dog. To make everything worse, a few months later I bought matching urns for both of my pups. While transferring the ashes of my first dog (the one cremated here), I found a license tag in the urn that did not belong to him. He was not cremated with a collar, and I didn't recognize the tag at all--it was another dog's. That's when I realized he was likely not cremated privately like I was told. Either they did a group cremation or gave me the wrong ashes. I'll never know for sure. It's heartbreaking to think I might not even have my dog's remains. I honestly wish the vet clinic had never used this crematory's services. No grieving pet parent deserves to be treated this way, and no one should ever have to question whether they're holding their beloved pet's ashes or someone else's. Update: Thank you, Heather, for taking the time to read my review and clarify that the tag I found was an identification coin used in the cremation process, not another dog's license tag. I'm not quite sure how to review a crematory place. I also wasn't hoping to be in this situation, I mean I don't think anyone ever is. Robin, "Appa" was my little koosh ball of floof. She was the best thing to leave Arizona 12 1/2 years ago. When I noticed her decline I scrambled to figure out a "what if" option. I called FURREVER FRIENDS in January, choking back tears. Heather understood. Appa had fallen over and I feared the worst. She reassured me, told me the options, she said when the time came, they'd be there for me. I explained that hey, since she's aged she's no longer her luxurious floof self and has become a mess, I've tried caring for her as I did, but it's getting rougher in her age, and she said they see it all, and they don't judge. I reached out fairly recently and let her know Appa was going to the doctor potentially for one last time. Heather was on vacation but still managed to let me know hours, comfort me, and let me know who would be there for intake. I'm forever thankful for that. My beloved Snoopy passed away after 12.5 years in 2015 and I took him to a pet cemetery that did an amazing job with his cremation. I was very grateful and decided to return to them this year when my beloved Goju passed away at the age of 10. I heard that this place had gone under ownership change, but I decided to give it a try. Big mistake. The place was virtually deserted. The only one to help was the groundskeeper since no one was in the office. There were literally no choices for an urn. They also no longer do cremations onsite. They would send him to LA and I would get him the next day. Such a disconnect and rush at a difficult time. Since he was the groundskeeper, I would have to call in to pay. This was already a hard time for me. I'm not jumping through hoops to pay a vacant office. No thanks. I did not feel this place would give Goju the dignity I felt he deserved. I called up Furrever Friends and was immediately greeted by Kaitlyn. She told me they could help me and was upfront about the pricing. I drove more than 45 minutes to get there. Kaitlyn greeted me and gave me options right away and there were plenty as I would expect. She was very empathetic to my connection to my little Goju. She told me, interestingly, after I left she got a few more birds, which she never had that many in a row. I picked a package upgrade and it still cost $100 less than than the other place's base package with NO UPGRADES. I knew I picked the right place. I picked up Goju at the end of the week and the care package was exactly that: CARE. Nothing was rushed. Immaculate attention to detail. Empathetic to the major hole left in my heart. It was a process figuring out what we wanted to do after we had Dr. Nguyen from Dr. Marchi Pet Euthanasia perform her service at our home. The folks at Furrever Friends were so kind and understanding as we went back and forth. We finally decided that keeping the transaction local and close to home was the best way to go. A rep arrived at our home promptly after the Dr. was finished. We worked together wrapping our girl and getting her into the company van. Super respectful, quick without being rushed and easy on us on a real hard day. We got a call a few days later that her remains were ready for pick up and I went to their location in West Long Beach. What a godsend this place was for me and my wife. We look after a colony of stray cats in our neighborhood as best we can, and one of the females had a litter before we could get her spayed. We kept tabs on the kittens with the hope of getting them adopted when they were old enough. Unfortunately, one of them didn't make it that far. (An awful reality of surviving outdoors.) My wife and I were devastated when we found the kitten outside of our home on a Sunday. We tried calling around to local vets and rescues to no avail. Other cremation places were closed. Most charged upwards of $300+ for a private cremation, but didn't have more affordable alternatives. When I tried contacting the city (via animal control), I learned that I'd have to put the kitten in a "sealed plastic bag" and leave it outside, like garbage. My heart couldn't handle it. Luckily, we found Furrever Friends. They told us to come by without an appointment. Even though the kitten had no name, we loved it, and the woman who helped us was kind and compassionate. She made the process easy and simple. She explained how the communal cremation worked, and that the ashes would be spread at sea in an ecologically-friendly way. Everything about the experience was handled as though the kitten was our own. (Which in some ways, it was.) Our beautiful girl Nova survived with cancer for almost two years, when her quality of life declined significantly we knew it was time to let her cross the rainbow Bridge, we choose one of their partners (Dr Marchi) to help our baby, we were told that it would be 1-3 weeks before our baby would be ready to come home, less than a week after our girls passing I got a message that she was ready to come home. Their location is very nice and easy to find, the staff is very friendly, our baby's ashes were packaged in a nice box with a heart name tag, certificate of cremation and a beautiful card. Virina Family, Our german shepherd Napoleon passed away on April 29,2025. It was early morning around 1:09AM. We are not prepare for something like this. I found furrever friends number in the internet. I called but nobody answer since it's too early. To my surprise Heather called me back right away. She was very compassionate.
