We found black mold in our shower area and it turned out that water was leaking into the shower pan causing mold etc. Am:Pm restoration came out to inspect (for free) and found out that there was a lot of humidity in the shower floor and walls. They came out and did demolition and mold shower and completed a mold remediation and water mitigation. The team who came out worked very hard and did a tremendous job. They left a clean bathroom and were communicating everything they did including showing pictures of the damage and remediation steps. In particular Jezus was great. We had a water damage/mold issue that needed immediate attention. We were in a financial bind with our house in escrow and needed to get quality work for an affordable price. We shopped around and received 4 estimates in total. AM/PM was literally about half the price of most of the other estimates. My fear was that maybe we would be charged more later or the quality of work would suffer. Neither could be further from the truth. The estimate we received is what was owed at the end and their work was fantastic. I investigated reviews for the other estimates to see why the estimates were so high. I found out there were numerous complaints of price gauging with a couple of the other companies. AMPM's reviews were fantastic and accurate. Veronica......Remember that name when you call. If you decide to use this company, please do yourself a favor and let them know from the start that you will be using your own company to do the mold testing after remediation is completed. They assumed we would be using the company they recommend for their customers, which I never informed them we would be using. There is such a conflict of interest for a remediation company to be recommending a mold testing company to do the job after. Long story short, we were clearly informed that the mold clean up was completed and the machines would now run for 2 days and Jesus who did the work even scheduled with the office when the machines could be picked up. The next day after learning that we would be using our own company to do the testing we were told that he was not done working on the attic, that there were still two spots to work on. There were only three spots total to work on, what did he do the whole first day??? It was so unsettling to know that once they found out we would use an outside company for the testing they went back and did the job right...the second time. Everything had to be pushed back because of this and the machines had to run for additional days. Also, when Jesus came back the second time he actually put up hazard signs on the enclosures, added the zipper that goes on the plastic enclosure and installed more machines because he knew another company would be looking at his work. We didn't have any of that the first 4 days of remediation!!! The only reason I'm giving 3 stars (and I'm being generous) is we actually passed the test and also Veronica, who does the scheduling, is very nice and accommodating.
