He gave me a price of $150 a wheel!!Which is absurd. That's $300. I can buy all four tires for under $280. I went over to my guys at ETD in Hackensack and payed $84 before tax. That's mounted and balanced. I get you have to pay for the convenience of him coming to you and to make a dollar but taking advantage is a whole different story.

As I was walking in another fella standing outside told me "Hey, Benigno's is closing". I went in the office which was still open and spoke to the guy behind the counter. I asked if I could still buy new tires there, he said yes, took my tire size and quoted me a price for 4 new tires, $140 each tire. I agreed and went to pay with my credit card he said they can't take credit cards and I would have to pay cash. I asked why, he said their credit card machine is gone. I don't carry $600.00 cash on me so, I left. Bottom line, Benigno's is closing and if you were a long time customer as I was, you will now have to find somewhere else to buy tires in the Garfield, NJ area.

They're super accommodating and James even offered to help me out over a holiday weekend when the shop was closed! I've been having issues with my tire and tried many spots in the area. I've even tried Tire and Wheel Performance on Route 17 and they couldn't find the issue. Gil's found the leak and plugged my tire in a few minutes.
