We come here every time we are in Breckenridge. The breakfast burrito is filling, healthy and yummy. They can accommodate any food preferences too. It's so nice to find a place that's not serving up garbage food...you can feel good about your meal. The staff is nice, the wood burning stove heats the historic building. And the location is just far enough away from the crowds that you can relax and decompress. read more

Amazing Grace is an amazing place to eat. Had breakfast there with my girlfriend before skiing and it was delicious. I had a a super food burrito which was excellent and she had eggs & biscuit. Plus we had the vegan peach muffin and it was great. The girl wt the counter was also the cook, do it took s little while because 3 of us came in around the same time. When they're open this place is a healthy, friendly and comfortable option. We've had the nachos with beans, spinach, salsa etc. and veggie deluxe salad with carrots, zucchini, cucumber etc. They have bottled beer. Parking is free unlike other restaurants in town. The bathroom and walkway to outside is off the kitchen hot plate area which is odd, but it's a historic building so they can't have a stove. The food & service gets five stars, but we've had to drive by on many other days so they get three stars total. read more

A co-worker had given me a gift certificate to Amazing Grace, so while I had a bad experience the first time I visited this restaurant, I was willing to give it another shot. Once again, completely disappointed by the service. The woman working the counter greeted me by lifting her eyebrows. No hello; No how may I help you; just the eyebrows. I assumed this rude gesture was my que to order, so I rattled it off. I paid with my gift certificate. She said it would be about 10 minutes. I sat down, distracted myself with the trusty phone and awaited my lunch. She told me the sandwich was ready, and when I started to walk away, excited to chow down, she asked, "Did you pay?" As if I'm walking out of this place without paying for the sandwich. When I responded, "yes, I had the gift certificate," her reply was "You can just say yes." WHAT???? This woman made me feel as if she were doing me a favor by serving me lunch, a lunch that I paid for. I do buy local at every opportunity, but I would rather go to Starbucks and be greeted by a friendly staff. Brought the family to this little place and couldn't be happier with our decision. It wasn't super easy with a stroller but we made it work. We had the Opus and it was outstanding. I have a crush on this place! Delicious food, health-conscious, in an old house (charm, quaint, small). They have a scone of the day! And they are delicious. This visit had the tuna on a salad, my husband had a turkey melt, and we shared the blueberry scone that they voluntarily heated (in the oven, NOT microwave) for us. The food was delicious and fresh! I enjoyed the BOB (Best Organic Breakfast, or something along those lines) and my boyfriend had the same thing. The eggs lacked a bit of flavor but thanks to the bottle of hot sauce they had on the table, it livened them up. The toast was hearty and flavorful and then butter and preserves tasted amazing. I got the vegan chocolate chip cookie to go and found it yummy but not something I would prefer over an organic chocolate chip cookie. The menu is very small, with about 5 options for breakfast so if your looking for selection, this isn't the place for you. My one gripe with this place is the "dining room" was nothing a dining room should be, with 3 different rooms and school desks as tables. We sat at a table that was on such a slope from the uneven floor that a one of the items on our table literally slid off. When we walked in, we were almost tempted to leave because you feel as though your walking into a dollhouse or something. The lady that took our order seemed rushed and pre-occupied with something in the kitchen so perhaps that is the same experience one of the other Yelpers had. Would I go back? Probably not, I enjoy a little bit larger menu and more creative twists on breakfast favorites. read more

I was happy to find this place while on vacation this past weekend. My daughter has a dairy allergy which makes it tough to eat at a lot of places. We arrived on a snowy Sat. morning to find the place nearly empty. All four of our meals were delicious (breakfast) as were the scone and vegan choc. chip cookie that we got to go. This is the kind of place I have been coming to for years. A down-to-earth vibe dominates - mismatched furniture, unusual coffee table books line the shelves, a space that clearly was a house in the not-so-distant past. I've always felt at home in places like this. The coffee is usually good, there are meatless options, interesting people come by, and the music is mellow and unabrasive, so you can sit and read or chat quietly for a while if you want. I had no problems with the service or the people working there - maybe because I don't look like a rich tourist? (lol) I just wish I had liked the food a little bit more. It wasn't bad, but the turkey sandwich I ordered, while of good quality, was a bit skimpy for the price tag - I could have made something like it at home without too much trouble. read more
