    Pork Tenderloin Katsu

My coworkers suggested getting lunch from Amazing Katsu, which surprisingly most of us have never tried before. So, my coworker doordashed our orders. NOTE: Takeout only. Pork Tenderloin Katsu: Juicy & tender pork tenderloin, breaded & fried to perfection. Served with rice, cabbage salad, & miso soup. I'll order from them again. Support your local business.

It was difficult to find this place at first, it's located inside the Elite center and has no seating inside -- seems more like a grab and go, takeout kind of place. However, the food was delicious and of great value! I got the chicken katsu, and it was crispy and delicious. It came out very quickly, and also came with miso soup as well as a variety of sauces. Would definitely come here again to try out the other dishes!

Good portion sizes you simply order online and can pick up within the banquet hall building. Chicken Katsu, although was a bit dry I liked it pairing with the side salad vinaigrette sauce, and also liked how they gave you a generous portion of cabbage to eat with it. I will have to come back next time to try the cheese Katsu. The pork Katsu is definitely juicier and not as dry inside compared to the chicken Katsu overall, the breading for both the pork tenderloin and chicken is nice and crispy made to order

This place is inside the Elite Event Center, so I would recommend placing an online order, they make everything to order so it will take some time. It took them about 20 minutes to prepare my order and around 5 - 8 minutes for when I arrived and waited. We got the Signature Combo Katsu, it included Pork Katsu, Loin Katsu, & Ebi!: this was super delicious everything was meaty and not heavily breaded. This also came with miso soup which was pretty average but super awesome it came with it. We also got curry sauce which made everything else taste super good along with the regular katsu sauces. It came with 2 scoops of rice and plentiful salad. We also got the Dubai chocolate chewy cookie, didn't picture it because my girlfriend and I ate it so quickly since it was super good. This place is great, I hope it becomes a restaurant so we can sit down and eat!

I think this spot offers the best katsu in the game. They have this unique flakey fry and crust they do which is unmatched. The shrimp/ebi is superb. The chicken, pork loin, and pork tenderloin are all really good. Chicken has the best value. I order from DoorDash and every few orders I get a $10 reward credit from the Restaurant which is nice. Ghost kitchen. The Katsus also come with rice, greens, sauce, and miso soup.

I tried Amazing Katsu when they had their Groupon deal awhile back. It was a good deal back when they first opened, but unfortunately they don't have it anymore. Prices are a bit high, but the portions were decent and the pork katsu was extremely crunchy, even though they focus on takeout. Too bad they are only open during weekdays, as I would love to try them more.

My fiance said this was some of the best katsu curry he has ever had, so I agreed to pick up an order on the way home. It is located inside an event center, so it's a bit confusing. Just walk inside and you'll see it. There is no seating available, so you have to take your order to go. My fiance placed the order at 6 and it had an estimated pick-up time of 6:10-6:15. Unfortunately, it took an extra 15 minutes for my order to be ready. The woman working the counter was running back and forth to the kitchen the whole time I waited. She didn't acknowledge anyone and would only look for an order if she was asked about it. Most of the time, she would disappear for 5 minutes and come back with a different order. There were about 5 groups waiting when I first got there, which then grew to 10. One couple told me that they had been waiting 40 minutes for an order they placed in person. The biggest frustration was that one doordash driver cut the line and kept pestering the workers for his order. I understand he wanted to make his delivery, but there were so many other people waiting too. This kinda made me upset. At the 15 minute mark, a young guy clocked in and told everyone he would try and figure out the delay. He came back with my order within 2 minutes. He was super apologetic and double checked that my order had everything. With all that being said, the food was delicious. We ordered the takoyaki, pork katsu curry, and the shrimp katsu curry. The curry was flavorful and topped with pickled scallions, pickled radish, and green onions to balance the dish. The shrimp and pork were cooked perfectly with a light crispy exterior. The takoyaki was a little too doughy for me, but still had great flavor. My only complaint is that you only get two shrimp in the katsu curry, but they are sooo good. I will definitely be back. For anyone considering trying this place, be ready to wait, but know it's worth it!

Friday lunch adventure led me to amazing Katsu in Santa Clara. They operate out of a shared kitchen because the pick up location was inside an events center. The place was a completely empty ball room and the pick up counter was the far back wall of the place. Picked up by name, no verification needed. The food was packed well, they even cut a hole into one of the containers to release steam. I ordered the katsu plate with rice and cabbage salad, a chicken katsu curry, and a katsu cheese. The food had good presentation and looked good and that was it. I love Japanese style curry and usually curry dishes would be swimming in the curry sauce. The chicken katsu curry barely had any curry in the serving which was really disappointing. They should have boxed the curry on the side too so that it doesn't make the rice soggy. The chicken katsu was inconsistent, one piece was so dry and another piece was fine. Like did I get a bowl of whatever leftover pieces of chicken lying around? The katsu cheese appetizer is pork deep fried with melted cheese in the center. The melted cheese couldn't save it, the meat was super dry and the bread coating didn't help make it any better. Super disappointing. The tonkatsu plate was a little better than the rest. But also dry pieces of pork with more of the loose somewhat crispy bread coating. I don't know what they do to the bread coating but it just is lacking. Maybe it's the communal kitchen situation and they're trying to figure out how to use equipment but I don't think I would order here again. Try another location maybe.

Amazing katsu that's on par with those found in Japan! Unlike many katsu places where they use fattier cuts of pork in order to get a more tender texture, Amazing Katsu uses comparatively leaner cuts but is still able to get a very tender texture. The exterior retains its crispiness despite the fact that you need to take it home with you as there's no seating at the ghost kitchen. The portion sizes are good but not too large, but the cuts of meat are generous. We loved both the Tenderloin Curry Katsu and the Pork Loin Katsu. The tenderloin cuts were much more tender, but the firmness of the pork loin nicely contrasts against the crunchy exterior. It took around 40ish minutes to get the order ready on a busy day.

I was convinced to try Amazing Katsu after seeing photos and high marks on Uber Eats. After much deliberation I chose the Pork Tenderloin Katsu Deluxe Set. I came away pretty impressed. IMO, the Katsu in Japan is the holy grail. But the Katsu here definitely holds its own. Props to them for the ingenious packaging on my Uber Eats Order. Some cut out vents were made in the container as to maintain the crispy exterior. Pork was flavorful, juicy and the Katsu breading was delicious and hallmark of a great katsu. The katsu sauce was excellent as well and none of the "mid" quality from the Hawaiian restaurant chains around here. I need to try this place in person to give it the full experience. The takoyaki was decent but nothing to write home about. Pork Katsu Set: 4.4/5 Takoyaki: 2.8/5

Yay ! Guess I don't need to travel all the way to Japan for my katsu cravings . Let's face it . Japan is considered one of the food mecca's in the culinary scene. All of the food I had there was mindblowing. One random weekday Husbie asked me what I wanted to eat , I said some chicken katsu!! Thankfully stumbled upon this restaurant on the search bar . The photos looked legit . I usually judge most restaurants by the pictures of the food & the chicken katsu was calling my name. Placed a to go order since this establishment only offers takeout. For firstimers like myself , make sure you go into the building with the huge sign that says ELITE EVENT CENTER . Walk inside & Amazing Katsu will be located in there. We decided to go nearby to a park to eat. Honestly, I wasn't expecting much since the last time I had katsu was in Japan & I usually never crave katsu . Pregnany is weird . All the foods you love , you have to throw out the door with crazy food aversions . Next moment , you're craving some random food you never would eat. The baby wants what it wants. Ordered the chicken katsu deluxe set . $24 Comes with double the chicken , rice , salad & 1 miso soup . When I took a bite of the Katsu it was perfectly crisp , light & the chicken was so tender and juicy & super flavorful. It was amazing !! I loved the cabbage with the light sauce ! it went great to break up the fried food with a light salad . The rice was also really good ! This place was so good I went back again the next week . It tasted just as amazing as the first time. Got the same order but added the fried shrimp tempura !! Holy moly. It was probably one of the best fried shrimps . I really loved the tartar sauce that went with it . Perfection. So happy I found this place !! It's one of my go to's now when I'm having my cravings =D

Amazing Katsu is located within a shared event center amongst other ghost kitchens, so it was a little difficult to locate. Be warned, it is a delivery/takeout-only spot (no indoor seating). My friend and I ordered online for pickup; service was quick, got the food in 15 minutes. No ambiance to rate haha. We got the pork loin and tenderloin katsu sets. They cut a hole in the box to keep the katsus crispy which was a plus! The katsu breading was pretty light and crispy, and the meat was juicy! Really liked how thick and tender each piece was, I feel like it's hard to find katsu in South Bay that has both qualities. For $20 a set, it's above average in terms of price for katsu, but the quality is there and was totally worth it. Overall would come back again! Tip: If the weather is good, order takeout and drive 5 minutes to Central Park, plenty of benches and seating!

Nothing amazing about their Katsu. They don't provide enough sauces that goes with a typical Katsu, so its just plain. The pork is still juicy though. Their miso soup tasted plain, so I threw it away

We accidentally showed when they were closed (our fault, didn't properly research), took some time to shop around, came back around 5PM by happenstance (no line at the moment) and were seated quickly with excellent service. A nice waitress took our orders, ice-cold water was given by a nice waiter (a pitcher of water sat beside us with chopsticks, spoons, and a napkin dispenser for convenience), then our food was promptly brought out by the waitress and waiter. Even faster than fast food service. Staff was incredibly polite and informational to my mother who had questions. They were very observant and aware of everything not just at our table but others and got us the check and a container for leftovers. Excellent customer service. Drinks and glasses served cold were a nice touch, water as well. The karaage (four pieces) was served first. Juicy and hot chicken thighs, nicely crisped up. Came with an excellent sweet sauce and lime to pair. Shortly after, my spicy tuna bowl. The spice and the taste were seemingly mild for my preference (however as I ate it with my spicy tonkotsu ramen broth, it became the perfect match), rice was perfect and the portion was heavier than I assumed which was a happy plus as a ricer lover. Personally love the seaweed bits. Whilst we began to eat the karaage, the waiter came and set our bowls of spicy tonkotsu ramens onto the table. We were able to take our time to eat our chicken, since as we eventually began to eat our noodles, they were still firm and the soup base was hot but not too hot to eat and enjoy right away. The egg is prepared absolutely perfect, the best I've had yet. It's the type of egg made for ramen. Broth was milky and delicious. I asked for extra woodear mushroom and menma on the side, as I do at every ramen spot I encounter, however I shouldn't have here because the topping portions were generous in-standing. However, I did still spoil myself to the extra toppings, so not a total loss since I really love menma and mushroom. I was also impressed by the spicy paste on top, actually felt a kick as someone who enjoys extremely spicy food. I overheard customers ask for "extra firm" noodles, so I might do so but the noodles were still wonderfully firm. Our order altogether came out to $89.98, not including tip. Overall, a wonderful space to frequent if you enjoy ramen and fast service. I'll have to come back with my brother :D

Anywho, we ordered a variety of items to try: new stamina don, clam chowder croquette, kani chirashi bento, and a salmon kama bento. Regarding the food: New stamina don came with slice beef, sliced beef tongue, braised pork, poached egg, and kimchi over rice. The sliced beef was cooked to rare, and the braised pork was very tender. The rice also came with the poached egg, kewpie mayo and a lemon, mixing it all together with the rice made it have a nice creamy flavor. Clam chowder croquette was something I have never heard of before, so I definitely wanted to try it. This was delicious, would definitely get it again. A fried crispy croquette with clam chowder in it but also some mashed potatoes and tonkotsu sauce on top. Kani chirashi bento had snow crab, fish roe over rice, rolled egg omelette, sashimi, fried boneless chicken, and edamame, blistered tomatoes and shisito peppers with pickles. The sashimi came with 4 pieces, 2 tuna and 2 salmon. the tuna was a little fishy but the soy sauce helped. The salmon was actually pretty good - good fattiness. The fried chicken was fine, a few pieces were dry. Overall this bento was good. Salmon Kama bento is salmon collar over rice, fried boneless chicken, takoyaki and edamame, blistered tomatoes and shisito peppers with pickles. The salmon collar needed some salt in my opinion. For the food overall, it was a little bit under seasoned for me but for portion, price and quality are good.

    Takes reservations

The restaurant was pretty full so not sure how long it would take if we waited. The restaurant is inside a plaza with some other stores and restaurants but there was plenty of space even in the evening. They have a happy hour menu from 7 to 10 pm on Saturdays, but they differ depending on the day. They have some appetizers and drinks on the happy hour menu, so we tried the gyoza, mochi and side tempura. The mochi had a house made sauce glaze that was sweet and salty, and came with nori as a wrap. The texture of the mochi was really soft and chewy. The gyoza were really crispy with a soft interior. We ended up ordering a second round of them. The tempura was nicely fried with not too much batter. The shrimp was really succulent and I liked that they have mushroom tempura too. From their regular menu, we ordered a bunch of food. I tried the yaki-onigiri ochazuke with salmon, fried chicken skin, the eggplant and various skewers. The fried chicken skin was really nice and crispy, and came with a ponzu sauce and mayo to dip in. The yaki onigiri was nicely grilled and still had crispy bits when submerged in the soup. I was really excited that they have shishamo/smelt. It was nicely roasted and didn't have any overtly fishy flavor. Everyone at my table really enjoyed their food. I'd definitely come back here to try their other dishes!

The menu is built around yakitori, grilled seafood, fried dishes, and other small plates meant to be shared over drinks. We had the kurobuta pork sausages, grilled whole squid, chicken thigh skewer, shishito peppers with bonito flakes, grilled corn, and crispy panko-fried shrimp. Everything was simply prepared, properly cooked, and excellent. The squid was beautifully charred, the sausages were plump and blistered, and the shrimp were exceptionally crisp. We washed it all down with a bottle of chilled junmai sake. A nice touch: they bring over a basket filled with mismatched ceramic and glass sake cups so everyone can choose their own. Excellent food, comfortable atmosphere, and a welcome reminder that Japanese cuisine offers much more than sushi and ramen.
