The technicians are amazing and making the eyelash extensions look so natural! I would only say the front desk does needs to improve went it comes to handling money and scheduling. I scheduled my appointment weeks in advance and two days prior to my appointment my lady is not available so they rescheduled me with a master which is $20 more. Then when was tipping I authorized a 20% gratuity and they charged $20 dollar tip from a 54.00 bill. And when I asked the girl at the front desk how did my bill come to 74.00 with a 20% tip she stated it rounded off to 74.00. She told me their computer calculates percentage too I don't know what computer they're using but that is stealing. I was so upset I didn't know how to react at the moment. I called back and asked to cancel my future appointment and email me a membership termination form. The front desk failed to attach the form the first time the emailed it to me. Went back in person the next day to request a refund. The manager was able to refund the difference in tip and the $20 for the master fee. Thank you for taking the time to listen and apologize for inconsistencies and misunderstandings. I would not recommend getting a membership, if you do, your credit goes towards refills. If you get full sets you still have to pay out of pocket for a difference in price. It's really up to you, I don't believe you're saving by getting a membership. That's just my opinion. I am very upset with this location. I am not sure what occurred at this location that caused it to close for several weeks. I started receiving text messages from this location that they would be reopening. I also received emails stating if I was a member at any of the following locations Voss , sawyer heights etc that our membership could be transferred. So being that I was unable to get an appointment I transferred my membership and now was informed that I was wrongfully transferred and that my active membership was not valid at the sawyer heights location and Although I paid my membership fee at summer wood, I would need to contact them and be refunded my membership fee in order for services to be rendered at sawyer heights . And that the appointment that I attempted to make would only be held and not confirmed until my account was resolved . However I was charged 79.99 non member fee for not keep an appointment that was not even confirmed due to account status . I would like the cooperate manager to contact me ASAP please provide me a telephone number and a name !! read more

Went her as a birthday surprise from my best friend. I was getting a full set and I had such a horrible experience. When I got there no one was at the front desk. There were people in the back but no one came up to help us. Then when I finally got in the room the girl was so rude. I was trying to get advice about what I should get since I had never had lashes before and she was short and had a super annoyed tone. Then when I got on the table it was nothing like what was described online. It was everything but relaxing. I asked the tech if I should close the door and she said "uh... no it gets hot in here". There wasn't any relaxing music. I felt like I was in an awkward doctors appointment. The whole time I was hoping it would be over. Not only was the experience of getting lashes awful. I had many lashes fall out as soon as I left and went to the target across the street. (The tech had stated to come back in two weeks) At this rate I would have no lashes in two weeks. I did everything she stated "don't get your lashes wet for 48 hours and don't brush from the root as that will cause your lashes to fall out". I waited more than the 48 hours but on the 7th day the lashes were falling out at an alarming rate. I told my sister that this place was a joke since she is the one who suggested it. She said that she had never had an experience like the one I had at sawyer heights and to go to her location in the woodlands. I ended up having to go on the 9 days after getting my full set because if I would have waited any longer they would have charged me for a full set. Please please please do not go to this location. They give amazing lash studio a bad name. There service is horrible and not worth the money. I had to spend over 50 to get a refill at 9 days after my initial set. At first I thought it might be my lashes but my refill is amazing. I have only lost 4 lashes and at this rate I will only need one refill a month. I don't want anyone to think that the experience at the sawyer heights location reflects other amazing lash studios because it couldn't be farther from the truth. Outside of Tracy and Tasha whose amazing, I'm so fed up with this place. The scheduling is horrible... It seems like new management or owner has cut down work time which rushes the technicians. Someone is always calling off or whoever scheduled made a mistake. Extremely disappointed in the customer service here. My lady didn't even tell me her name. Didn't explain the difference in thicknesses. This was my first time getting lashes. I was actively asking questions. And not getting a very good explanation. My lady started doing stuff to my face without telling me what she was doing, she didn't tell me she was placing eye patches on my eyes, and literally put them on my eye ball and didn't give me any warning that she was going to seal my eyes shut. And didn't tell me it would burn. When I asked if it was supposed to be burning she didn't acknowledge my question. Then when I repeated my eyes are burning she didn't say anything again. When she was done she said okay I'm done. And didn't even offer a mirror. Then when I was asking about the empty spaces in between my lashes she said oh don't touch them that much. I received no directions on how to take care of my lashes! I've heard that you're not supposed to get them wet for 12 hours after? I don't even know what to do. And she and the front staff knew this was my first time getting lashes. When I went to check out the lady stood next to the receptionist while I was checking out and was waiting for me to give her a tip. I'm sorry but that is rude if you are just standing there while I'm paying and inwas trying to tell the receptionist I wasn't happy, and the lady made it awkward. Also when I was walking to the restroom there were girls that worked there cursing in the hallway about "bitches" that is super unprofessional and not classy. I'm honestly so upset. When I tried to call back 5 minutes before closing, they answered and then put me on hold till they closed. Hopefully when I call tomorrow they will make this right. I have been coming to this place for over a year and love my lashes. Master stylists do a great job. Lashes look full and last long.

Used my Groupon for a full set at $79. The customers service is horrible. Once you pay $79 for the full set you have to register you credit card for membership pricing. They charge your card monthly for a refill and if you need additional touch ups its more. If you dont want to join the cost is $60 for a refill. I've had lash extensions before and this is way too much for a refill. Most places charge much less and offer refill amounts based on the number of weeks in between service. Lets say you got a full set on the 1st of the month but then in the middle of the moth you have an event and want your lashes retouched. Amazing Lash will still change you $60 the same as if you would have waiting a full month. There are no other options. For some this might work but for me it doesn't. My lashes already look not so great after two weeks. I've gone to The Lash Studio here in Houston and they charge you according to the weeks which is a much better option. read more

I've been going to a certain stylist at a different location but she was on leave and gone for a bit. I assumed that ALL amazing lash studios were trained equally and that the front desk all were trained. I came to this location temporarily because it was closer until my stylist returned. I'm never going back to this location again. The front desk sucks, they do not care and do not know how to book an appointment correctly, especially when I book weeks in advanced with a certain stylist and show up booked with a beginner. She needs to go through training again and Needs to remove the old lashes before applying the new ones. Any way never coming back to this location. I'm mainly leaving this review for the front desk and not coming back for that reason. Im sure the junior and senior stylists there are great. But Ya while I was getting a discount for them messing up my booking, another client comes in complaining about the front desk next to me. That speaks for itself. read more

I have had my lashes done for almost a full year by 3 other Amazing Lash locations, I will NEVER return to Sawyer Heights. During the process, the technician was anything but gentle, pulling out my real lashes and poking my eyes and taking 2.5 hours for a full set (it is supposed to take 90 minutes). After she said she was done, I looked at them and there were still top and bottom lashes glued together, visible chunks of glue at the base, and looked like I had them applied 2 weeks before. I waited 20+ minutes to speak to a manager and when Phelesha finally came out, said that she had to get to Conroe by 8 and couldn't help other than separating my eyelid from the bottom lashes, she didn't even apologize for a bad experience then charged full price for a botch job. The staff is a joke. It's like who's on third. No one knows what they're doing, not to mention the phone etiquette. The person I talked to was so not into helping me and could have cared less what I was calling about and NEVER called me back like she said she would. Answering my questions with a lazy yeah, or huh. I was disconnected twice before i got to actually speak to her. I have never encountered a more unprofessional "staff" at this location. I will tell you that Yuen was the nicest and best stylist I have had. She is the only redeeming factor. The manager of Sawyer Heights location has obviously failed at her job by not training the front "staff" to represent the business better. Shame on you. I will NOT return. read more

Love the lashes! Never had an issue with service as many reviewers have commented. I even had an issue with lashes coming out after a few days after a fill and they were fixed for free and past the day limit they will fix for free. No pain, No issues and they were very full. UNPROFESSIONAL. I had my first appointment here for the intro full set. I got there before my appointment..checked in..and waited until about 10 minutes after my appointment time. When I was called and got back to my room the lash stylist said "for a refill, right?". I clearly did not have lashes on but I said "No I booked it for the intro offer full set." She then asked me why they would book it for a refill. Obviously, I wouldn't know the answer to that. After she leaves to go to the front & comes back, she tells me that she doesn't have time for my set & I'd have to come back. I clarified that she was actually ask me to leave because of the front desk's mistake. Yup. This business asked a new client to leave without the services they booked over a week in advance because of their mistake. I read the reviews but I threw caution to the wind to get a nail salon two week lash set removed. I told the lady that answered the phone The details of what I needed and that they had been originally put on at a nail salon and were not extensions. I made sure to give her the details so I would not waste my time driving out to the studio if they couldn't help me. I made sure to ask the name of the lady that would be working with me before I hung up. I got to the studio checked in and 45 minutes after my appointment was supposed to start the Young lady that replaced the front desk at five asked me if I had an appointment. I told her I did she checked could not find my name. She called the lady that was at the front desk before and then told me that my appointment has not been booked even though the front desk lady before 5 had said she checked me in. Then the front desk went and asked in the back about my lashes after I explained to her my situation and she told me that they would not be able to remove my lashes without taking some of my original lashes due to the fact that they were not type of lashes they typically remove. The lady that took my call and "checked me in" at the front desk wasted my gas wasted my time but I was stupid for not listening to the yelp reviews. read more

The first time I walked in the ladies in the front were so sweet, friendly, patient, and very welcoming! They answered all my questions and when I left I felt confident and ready to put these beauties on. I came in the next day and I was so nervous by another person touching my eyelashes. Their manager Catrina helped me out and made sure I was happy with them before I left. She couldn't have been any nicer or any more sweet! I couldn't be happier with my eyelashes and I look forward to going back!! I recently changed over to this location because I had an issue with the location at Bunker Hill. I have been going to this company for about 9 months, BUT, I noticed that the last 2 visits my eyelashes have only lasted about 2 weeks. Initially, when this first happened I notified the receptionist and decided to go to the location closer to me. When I arrived at the location, the stylist was amazing, TASHA, she was able to give me what I wanted. HOWEVER, after about 2 weeks, I had major loss of eyelashes from each eye. (the same issue I previously had at BUNKER HILL). I called the location to get assistance and find out if they are using a different adhesive or if they were receiving additional complaints about the same issue. I was told that they were receiving complaints about the eyelashes not lasting as long. The receptionist advised that she would take my complaint down and give it to the manager. When I finally got the call from the manager (DYNA), she left me a voicemail indicating that I only had 2 more days left if I needed to get a "mini refill". I was not even aware that this was offered or if it was an additional cost. I returned her phone call to be told after that I did not "qualify" for a mini refill because she had looked at the date incorrectly and I was pass the 10 day "grace" period, which I was not aware of as well. I then tried to see if she could compensate me, If I needed to get a full set, since this would be the 3rd full set that I have gotten over a 9 month time frame. She advised that she could not help with the situation and that I would have to pay the difference for the new set. I requested to speak to the OWNER of the location and was told that she could not disclose that information????? I then requested how I could submit a request to cancel my membership since she could not accommodate my situation. She explained that I needed to go to the "original" location where I set up my account and submit cancelation paperwork. I then asked where I could go to file a formal complaint and was told that I needed to email amazingeyeleashstudio.com. and that there was not number to call. I tried to do so and the internet was unable to find such an email or account. I find it very odd that this information is not offered on the company website and when requesting to make contact with a particular AMAZING EYE LASH it provides me the phone number to the one near me to call. I NEED HELP WITH THIS SITUATION !! I don't think it is worth the hassle and money spent, when a company does not seem to care how you feel and be willing to assist you in a matter that is not your fault. WHAT DO I DO?? read more

I am new to ALS, and on my first visit, my appt was with Anna. When I got there, they stood at the register discussing who they were going to send me to. Not one time did they advise me there was going to be a change. When you make an appt with a certain tech, you should rcv services from that tech. If that is not the case, then the front desk associate should advise you of that, and then it would be your decision on whether you want to reschedule or not. The second time, I rcvd services from the person I made an appt with(Kimmie) she was great. When I checked out, they set up my next up, with the same person. Once again, got there and I was not advised on anything. Don't like that at all. With me being a new customer, it really wasn't a great impression. read more

The only reason I'm even giving this location 2 stars is because the technicians are so good. The customer service at this place is astonishingly horrible. You're hardly ever greeted when you walk in and if you are, it's a fake smile followed with a short hi. Unless you see someone else sign in or you're already an existing customer, you have absolutely no idea what to do when you arrive. Do you sit down? Do you go to the front desk? Nobody knows because nobody greets you and lets you know. Then once you sit down, expect to wait at least 10-15 solid minutes before anyone acknowledges your presence. Once you get in for your appointment and your lashes look amazing, thanks to the awesome technicians, you go to pay and you would expect them to ask you if you need any mascara or any other products, because upselling is a typical thing in a business right? So when they fail to let you know that you need to either buy their oil-free mascara or buy an oil-free mascara from the store, you leave the place not knowing what kind of mascara you are allowed to use on your false lashes. The main reason I am writing this review is because of how I was treated this past Saturday when I came in for my appointment. I had an appointment at 2:10pm and I was coming in from north of Houston and I knew I was going to be late so I call ahead of time to let them know and see if I was able to get in a few minutes late or if I needed to reschedule. I guess the girl who answered the phone was in a good mood that day because she was very kind and let me know that there was a 15 minute grace period and as long as I was there 15 minutes after my scheduled appointment, they would be able to get me in. So I rushed as fast as I could to get there by 2:25pm. I pulled up and ran in the door and I looked at my phone as I was signing in and saw that it was 2:24pm and I thought to myself "thank goodness I made it in time". As I'm sitting there for at least 5-10 minutes, I'm wondering if my technician is just running behind or if they just forgot about me. So I quickly ask the girl at the front desk if I can use the restroom real quick; I go to the bathroom, come back out and sit down for another 5 minutes before the front desk girl named Brittany rudely says, "umm we're going to have to reschedule you because you did not make it in time." And I was in shock because 1. I had been sitting there for 10-15 minutes already, 2. I had asked to use the restroom so I had previously had a few words with her and 3. because I know for a fact that I made it there with less than a minute to spare. So I told her that when I walked in it was 2:24pm, and I even have a text message proof because my friend had text me as I was signing in. She rudely told me, "Umm no it was 2:28". I have no problem admitting fault for being late but the fact that she not ONCE apologized and she not ONCE acknowledged me when I walked in for my appointment and if I was late when I walked in she should have told me that she needed to reschedule me at that moment, not make me wait for 15 aimlessly minutes. Luckily there was an open appointment at 4:10 that day so I took it, but when I was about to leave she then decided to let me know that it would be an additional $10 because the technician was a master stylist. Not only was she rude and lying about the time that I came in, but she was letting me know that I had to pay an additional $10. Money is not the issue here, the issue is how she treated me and not ONE TIME did she apologize for the inconvenience. I recommend the technicians but if you decide to go to this place, expect Brittany, the rude front desk girl, to not pay attention to you and not inform you of anything regarding your lashes. Highly disappointed with the management staff for letting this be how their customers are treated. read more

I have been getting my eye lashes done with Amazing Lash Studio for about 5 months now, I decided to give this location a second chance since the first time I went I was disappointed with the results. I should have learned my lesson the first time going there because its only been a week and my lashes look terrible! They are all going different directions, I have a big gap on my left eye, theres glue on my eye lid and I've tried brushing them but I doesn't help. I decided to call and see what they could do to help me, the girl on the phone said she would book me for a "mini for only $35" I told her $35 was too much since its only been a week. She told me I had go in and speak with the manager if I didn't want to pay that much. So I went and all the manager could offer me was 25% off making the mini $26. In my opinion thats still too much to pay. I think its their responsibility to help customers and give them satisfaction. Its ridiculous that my lashes look like this after just a week. I will stick the Bunker Hill location, a bit farther from me but they never disappoint me. read more

If I could give 0 stars I would. I've been getting lash extensions off and on over the past 3 years and I have never had an appointment as awful as I did here. I have been visiting a different location but was closest to this one today and decided to make a refill appointment. My appointment started with her brushing my lashes so aggressively that I could feel multiple of them (real and fake) being pulled out. Then, she went through and proceeded to use her tweezers to yank and tug on the ones needing removing, even after I told her it was painful. I've had other technicians use the solution to remove stubborn ones, but I'm fairly positive she just yanked the entire eyelash out. So much for being safe for your natural lashes! When I complained about the pain, she responded that it was because I must be wearing eyeliner and not cleaning them well, and that I should buy some of their cleaner. This is the first time I'd ever had a technician complain about this, and I know I brush/clean them religiously but I let it go. She continued to aggressively tug at my lashes. She then taped my eye to where it couldn't completely shut all the way, and proceeded to use so much glue it felt as if it was being poured directly into my eye. My eyes started watering like crazy, and even an hour later they remain puffy and red. I told her several times my eyes were burning, so she turned a fan on but did not stop to re-adjust the tape to prevent more glue from entering into my eye. This was by far the most painful lash appointment I have ever had, and I will most definitely not be returning to this location. read more
