Less than a week ago I was recently there. Decided to have a manicure in order to prepare for attending a sweet 16 year old party. The atmosphere was fine. The Food Network channel played overhead, plus it was uncrowded & quiet. The tools were clean & Lee my manicurist shaped my nails exactly how I wanted them. Essie's Mademoiselle was the color I chose, a pale pink. I liked my manicurist Lee who I thought did a great job for a simple $17 manicure. I sat & let it dry there for 1 hour. The next day I noticed there was an orange peel texture under all my polished nails. So disappointed, maybe it's the quality of the polish? What a shame. Won't be returning. What happened? Hey! I just discovered this place today and am so glad that I did. They have free parking in the back lot that is very convenient. I came in to have my fake nails removed and they did it without any hassle. I had fake nails with gel-x and they took it off and were so nice too! They put on regular nail polish and charged $32, which I felt was reasonable for the work that they did. read more

Went in for my first mani-pedi and the service was great! Forgot the names of the two women who worked there, but they were very kind and worked efficiently. The massage chair was also perfect. I only got the basic mani-pedi and spent about 30 minutes there. They actually open at 10am and not 9:30am - the sign outside and on Google/Apple maps may be outdated. read more

i got gel-x and it's the worst nail salon i've ever got. people in the shop cannot even understand what you mean and they kept talking Vietnamese which is so irrespective. also the shape is so bad and i can't even look at it. it's so ugly. the worst thing is they cut my skin and it's hurting all the time. read more

I hadn't got my nails done for quite a while. I had been to this salon before and was quite impressed with the service and the quality of service. It was a weekday morning and they were just about to open. Only one lady called Holly was there. She did an amazing job on my mani/pedi considering she was the only person there to attend at least four other customers. I guess it was a bad traffic morning. HORRIBLE service! The manager is terribly rude. She screams across the room. Gel comes off easily doesn't last more than 2 days and chips. The manager will not listen and will scream at you instead. If you set an appointment one must wait for them to be available for over 45 min. No point in setting an appointment. The lack of respect towards a customer is astonishing. She should not be allowed to stay in business treating people with so much disrespect and desdain. Very angry woman. read more

I've been here twice now for a spa pedicure and for the price - this place is great. Location is clean and staff are friendly. Chairs are comfortable and adjustable. The pedicure polish has lasted for WEEKS each time and the basic pedicure comes with callous removal. Service was awful. My appointment was for 12, I wasn't seen until 1. The nail lady kept drilling my cuticles until they bled and aggressively grabbed my hand when I pulled back from pain. To make matters worse, I was charged an extra 20 for polka dots (which wasn't my original design of choice, I had to resort to it because the nail lady couldn't do heart designs). I'be been coming to Amazing nails & spa for many months now. At this point, I refuse to go anywhere else. Lena is extremely talented when it comes to acrylic nails. Not only that, she is very thorough and careful with her work. No little detail is overlooked, especially when it comes to shaping. She is incredible at keeping the nail strong while not leaving it thick. My acrylic nails look and feel natural every time. She never leaves glue or excess paint beneath the nails. Literally, Lena is the best at acrylic nails I have ever been too. This nail salon is so underrated! They also just updated all of their spa chairs for pedicures and they're soooo nice. Prices are reasonable as well! Next time you need a manicure, hit this place up!! read more

I love this place. They have a large screen TV going- usually with Cooking channel or something that I am not interested in but it's entertainment. 21$ for mani pedi without SPA. I never get the Spa but they DO clean their foot tubs with some sort of disinfectant. They clean their instruments which is a must for me. They use new liners in the soaking basins. I love Lilly. I love some of the others but I always want her. She's hard to get. I wouldn't normally let out the good ones- so I can keep them to myself- but this woman deserves the work! Little parking lot in back. Starbucks in same parking lot IF you have to wait. I really never do. They do a good job. Try it out! read more

This is the absolute worst nail salon experience I have ever had. It was a disaster from the start and even several weeks later I am still having problems with my nails. Firstly, the wait time is very long so make sure you have plenty of time in your schedule. I asked for acryllics and came in with clean nails (ie no nail polish on from before). My nail tech began by using the electric nail buffer on my raw nails. It was noticibly painful and I've never had the electric buffer used on my nails like that, usually only when I'm getting gel removed, but I had bare nails. After the acryllics were on, the tech was filing them down. Not only was she so rough on my nails, she also missed and cut into the skin on my thumb which started bleeding. There was no apology and this cut got infected- I literally had to put antibiotics on it and it took three weeks to heal which was not ok. The tech also used the electric buffer on the underside of my nails to file my real nails into the acryllics. I have also never had this done before at any other salon. It hurt SO MUCH, I said so outloud, and was literally about to cry from the pain- the tech still kept going. Not only all of this, but the actual polish paint job was so bad, I had to touch it up myself at home. When I removed the acryllics, one of them ripped off my real nail too. 0/5 stars would highly not recommed. read more

BEWARE! They didn't honor a gift certificate that was bought and paid for including tip. Said the lady (Nancy) that issued the certificate had left the salon. So what? It's still the same salon/ownership and the same people I had been going to for a pedi for years! Mind you I would never get my nails done here. I had a hard time finding a good nail place when I started working in West LA over 3 years ago. I needed a place that could get a full set and and a pedi during my lunch hour. Nancy was the answer to my prayers! She knows exactly how I like my nails done, and never gives me attitude when I ask her to change something. I was brave enough to change my nail style because of her. Nancy's work has lasted up to 5 weeks! Now I do have to say that if you come in with any kind of attitude, don't except them to be sweet to your face. I'm always super friendly and therefore have always received good customer service. These ladies work hard and can get very busy so an appointment for smooth service is a must. I have walked in before but like any nail salon, you'll have to wait. This is a no frills salon. It's a quick, clean, affordable place to get your nails done and they do the job nicely. I left one star off because I don't keep a consistent pedicure tech so I'm not always thrilled with the pedi, but it has always lasted at least two weeks. read more

They arbitrarily set their prices depending on their mood and make your nails look like the clunky images that you find all over the internet that look like children did it. Not to mention that she filed my cuticles off with a drill that was painful instead of clipping them because it was faster and there were customers waiting. I got my nails done here recently and not only did the technician file off my cuticle so hard that it started bleeding and she had to apply pressure to get it to stop, the nail polish is all over my cuticles and under my nails and on the surrounding skin. This is to add onto the fact that I asked for a specific shape but instead, it looks like an upside down triangle that is all lopsided. I would not recommend this place unless you want really messed up nails that cost $60. I could've had an entire shopping spree but instead got unlucky and ended up with the ugliest nails I have ever spent money on. read more
