First time here and I enjoyed it. I especially liked the calmness of the environment and how it was complimented w soft massage parlor music. I don't know anyone to doze off while getting a manicure but I'm certain I'm not he first. Sat down with Lisa who appeared to be shy. The first 10 minutes were really quiet. It wasn't until I spoke to her then she started to converse w me. It was a bit awkward being so close in proximity and not speaking but I can say we're best friends lol. She's so sweet. A true professional and knows her craft well. I will make this a habit and come see her a couple times a month going forward. I'm not familiar w he market value of manicures but for the transformation of my hands, $20 plus a $10 tip was worth it. Lisa was firm yet gentle w my hands. She worked fast too. I don't know how anyone could give this place less than five stars. It's beautiful, the manicures and pedicures are always the best quality and the staff is amazing and kind. They were shut down for a bit due to a fire so they replaced all of their chairs, tables and polishes, and everything is brand new and sparkly. I had to go to an alternate location while they fixed the salon during the fire and it was miserable. This is the only place I would ever go to on the west side. read more

It was $60 for a basic gel pedicure which is pricey in my opinion for a basic pedicure. The nail tech did an OK job. The nails are uneven and the nail polish is sloppy and already chipping on some nails. My brother had to wait 20 minutes before they even started on him and we called ahead of time for appointments. What really turned me off is that the technician demanded a tip from me before I even had the chance to offer it myself. Super weird, I have never had that happen to me before. I always tip but when it is expected it really doesn't feel good. Of course I tipped her. I wouldn't go back though. read more

Horrible service left several messages for Jessi and she never called back. I also drove to the shop and all the ladies pretend they don't speak English. My client received a gel mani and reg pedi and the gel mani chipped the next day. I called to get the 3 nails fixed and they kept saying only Jessica could fix and she never called me back to take my elderly client who doesn't do any housework or any reason why her gel nails who chip the next day. read more

I went with an appointment, but they said - in a RUDE manner, that I didn't have an appointment. They started to scream among them in a foreign language while looking at me, who, calmly and decently, expected for them to clear that mistake. I came in for a polish change. I had gotten my nails done the day before and ruined them while moving furniture. The entire time I was there they were speaking in their own language which is fine, but it wasn't a relaxing environment. I wanted to tip in cash so I paid with my card. It was $15. I asked for a receipt after but the lady who did my nails was saying it couldn't work because of a printing issue. This was my first time here so I was like okay whatevs. Now looking back at my credit card transactions, they charged me $15.60. If they told me ahead of time that they had to charge extra for card or any other reason, I would be happy to pay. But not telling me, charging me, and not wanting to give me a receipt is sketchy. If each customer gets overcharged it adds up to a huge amount. Not cool! Also, the polish change was not great. My nails chipped the next day. Only good thing was the cute dog. This was probably the worst pedicure experience I've had. I had read the reviews about the rudeness, but figured it would be fine. The lady barely worked on my feet, barely shaped the nails, barely cut cuticles, didn't touch the nail beds and left the nails sharp and lopsided. When it came to scrubbing the calluses, she literally gave each area one swipe and when I asked for more she asked if I want to pay for extra. She massaged my feet for 5 seconds and asked if I want "extra massage." After she was done, I paid and tipped generously as she was standing over me. I regret that. Then, after sitting there for some time, I asked if she thinks I'm ready to go (usually they check on you, she had not). She said yes, probably. I asked for help getting my sandals as I didn't want to ruin my nails getting up and getting them and she pointed to my sandals on the floor and told me "you can get them yourself." I was quite shocked bc I've always had people help me with putting my sandals off. She finally got up and handed them to me, but didn't put them on for me. Wow. Here I am about two days later and my nails are chipping. Perhaps bc she didn't put a top coat. My pedicures usually last for around 3 weeks to a month. No wonder this place is always empty. $45 later, I have chipped toe nails and will have to get them redone this week. Ugh, so annoyed. Avoid this place like the plague. read more

I called day of to make appointments for mani pedis for myself and a colleague and we got to have our meeting over self-care. The salon is clean, smells good, and we had lovely foot and hand massages while getting our feet scrubbed and polished while enjoying the massage chairs.Nails look great and we feel great! A bit spendy with the 20 minute foot massage but we'll worth it! $100 even for callous removal, mani pedi and 20 minute foot massage. read more

They do a thorough job (not the best, not the worst) but they did not notify us that they raised their prices considerably until after their services were complete. I spent $75 total on a gel manicure and regular pedicure while my friends pay at least $20 less elsewhere. I am always kind and courteous to nail salon staff so it surprised me how much of a foul attitude I was getting from the nail tech here. Clean lovely shop. Not too friendly but my nails are perfect. I was a walk in and they did take me. I thought the price for a gel manicure was a bit high at 45. I usually go in Westwood where I pay 35. The manicurist told me 35 but when I went to cashier she charged 45. One of the fastest gel manicures I have ever had. Bottom line this shop is clean efficient yet pricey and left wondering why the cashier lifted the price. I will not go back. read more

This has been my go to salon. Today I went in with my daughter. She got a regular mani-pedi and I got a gel manicure. I was charged $85!!!! So when I left it really bothered me. So I went back in and asked how much a regular man-pedi was and she said either 25 or 36. Again I left...still bothered. So I called and spoke to Megan and asked her how much for what my daughter and I got and she said $50. So I turned around and went in and the lady who did my nails said sorry.....she thought my daughter had gel (even though I told her she didn't)...and so charged me $50 for her and 35 for me.... The owner was not there and I think they just randomly make up numbers. I feel totally ripped off! BTW I took back my $5 tip! read more

You can expect to have a decent (not great) manicure/pedicure here. It seems clean. What really bothers me, though, is every time I pay for my services in cash, they return my change in a solid $5 bill (instead of singles). This happened 3-4 times I came in. This last time I specifically asked for change. The lady gave me 3 $5 bills. This puts customers in an awkward position - do you just give a 25% $5 tip and not make an issue about it or do you stick to what is right and tip what you think is deserved by asking for singles again? I don't appreciate this. The tip amount should be left up to me, the customer, and I shouldn't be made to feel badly about it. If you've earned a $5 tip I will definitely tip you...but leave that decision up to me. read more

Everyone is friendly, courteous and very accommodating. This place also looks the cleanest. There have been several occasions when I came in during their busy time, and I honestly wouldn't mind waiting because they do a fantastic job. It had been a minute since I'd gotten my nails done and finally decided to treat myself to a gel manicure. This place is a walk away from my apartment so I decided to check it out. I came about an hour from closing on a Sunday and they told me it would be a 15 minute wait so I went across the street to the new Face Values and shopped while I waited. I came back and was seated about five minutes later. The place is small but there were a lot of people there (as is expected at a salon on a Sunday). It could definitely benefit from a larger space by my experience wasn't really impacted negatively from it. They have a lot of options for gel colors and did a great job overall. While they are a bit pricey, I never had an issue paying a premium as they were always quick and thorough.however, today's experience corroborated the other reviews. I'm guessing the issue is isolated to one particular person. However, unfortunately I got her today and she was sullen and rude throughout. With all honestly, I don't understand how these businesses stay in business and how woman go to these places where they get treated like pure garbage. This particular salon is beautiful and seems cozy but the staff here are rude, angry and not polite. they will rush the service and paint your nails in a rush with no precision will literally paint your skin with zero care in the world. They don't do their job with love and care and this is why we the customer go out to get these services, to get treated with care, love and most importantly respect. They are rude when ask to fix a nail that had lint on it, the lady who was doing my mani totally gave me an attitude and sigh as she went on to "fixing my nail". terrible energy. The lady on my toes barely did anything to them, scrubbed me for a minute, when moving my feet she would grab my whole foot and aggressively place it in the water with an attitude as if she didn't want to do the service. They sit there looking angry and speaking in there language which makes it very uncomfortable place to be in. It was terrible, I cant believe woman sit through this and pay for a horrible service and attention. I ended up walking out and was still charged $45 pedi price for just gel pedi removal. I don't like to give low rated reviews but this particular place requires one. Me and two friends went there a couple of weeks back on a Sat afternoon . To be clear, this review isn't necessarily for the actual work done on my nails - my nails still look fine - my review is for how we were treated. We came in to get a gel mani and basic pedi each and we sat down on our designated spaces. The three of us were talking about work and just general life things because that's what you do when you don't get to see your friends as much these days and you're an adult with normal social tendencies . There was one other customer sitting on the corner by the storefront and she was on her phone. In the middle of getting our feet buffed, my manicurist started muttering " you're all talking too much, so much talking " but didn't make any eye contact. It was odd but then she looks up and shushed us! She then proceeded to tell us that there were "other customers in the nail salon so please no talking- you are all talking too much". I'm sorry but how incredibly rude can you be? You're charging $85 for a mani and pedi- nothing special and you're going to shush us? The other customer wasn't even looking our way- it was just us and the manicurists. To reiterate- we were just having conversations- it's not like we were out at some bar or restaurant screaming at each other and laughing loudly. She backtracked because it went dead silent after that and she said "oh yes you all work so much - a lot of talking " and she said it with a smile. Whilst this was happening, my other friend was getting increasingly uncomfortable with her manicurist because her lady kept aggressively moving her hand around and snapping at her yes or no questions. I guess it's best not ask anything about a service you're paying for if your manicurist is in a mood? At that point we just wanted to leave. Two of my toes actually smudged whilst we were rushing to get out and my manicurist attempted to fix it (to her credit) but we didn't feel welcome there so we left anyways. It was one of the most unsatisfactory experiences I've had in a while. We have all been stuck in the house for over a year and getting the chance to pamper ourselves has been scarce. Nice place and good service, however they're considerably more expensive than the other nail salons on the block. Double than the other salons for callus removal and mani / pedi about $10 more expensive as well. The ladies are nice but I don't think it is that much better for service or quality to justify the difference in cost. If they did longer massages for instance, I would be willing to pay more but everything is relatively the same as the other salons on the block and block over. read more

They are open during COVID-19 and have extremely stringent health and safety precautions. There is a temperature check when you enter the salon and everyone has their hands sanitized before beginning the manicure. Also the staff wears masks and face shields. There are plexiglass dividers and the door is kept open for a fresh breeze. Please everyone come back to the salon and have a fantastic and safe experience. I am a long-time customer and the service is exceptional and my nails look fantastic. Please continue to support this local business. I have been here dozens of times and can vouch for the experience. My last visit was in late October 2020. read more
