This place is located in the same area as the Cost Plus World Market in the Marketplace. When wandering around the place we noticed the list prices for most items were higher than those of Ralph's, and one will need to use coupons from the newspaper or on their Amazon account to decrease the prices to something more market rate. Fortunately we had a coupon. Items available included both generic items and some items from Whole Foods. We tried to focus on buying things that were unique and lower priced for fun. At the exit there was a sign that said they would give out paper bags, but we didn't notice the sign (since it wasn't at the cash register) so my local friend took out some of her own bags. If they were at the front of the checkout counter we would have noticed it and been able to get some more free bags. They were paper bags, so I probably would have only used them to recycle cans. The transaction went fine as far as I could tell. If one drives around the corner to the curbside pickup there is a Pokémon GO gym there. I think not a lot of people use it and there are some normal parking spaces available so one will not have to buy curbside pickup to use them. read more

Amazing convenience. I loved the experience I had while shopping for items, but was frustrated that they don't accept more than two cards at checkout. I also don't suggest cashiers asking customers if they want to keep their receipt or not. But perhaps that's personal preference. All in all... it's a grocery store... with some extra bells and whistles. Love that Amazon has the same selections as Whole Foods... and vice versa, I guess. I also really loved that some employees on the floor that were restocking some items suggested some products. They mentioned a wine that was $2 when the retail price was $22!!!! ***3.5 stars Amazon Fresh is the most efficient and technological advanced grocery store out there. We were able to check out the first installment to OC in Irvine. There are several locations popping up in LA. Upon arriving, there are two lines to enter the store. The left side is for "traditional" shopping which is the regular cart. If you want the "Dash cart" experience, stay on the right side. This is a smart cart that links to your Amazon app. It is programmed to scan items placed in the cart. Some items such as produce will need to input the four digit code on label to be recognized. The store itself is not that big. It's the same format as a Whole Foods. They offer organic options on most products. Once you're done shopping, you can check out on the app. Then you can return the dash cart to the designated area and you're done. Honestly, it's fun to try it once. Other than that, I'd rather order online to have it delivered the same day. read more

Located to the east of the I-5 Freeway on the south side of Jamboree Road before El Camino Real at the Irvine Market Place, you will find Amazon Fresh. In the past few years, the name, Amazon, has surged through the world in fierce competition against other major businesses. Amazon has acquired major names and has invaded our homes with technology and products that we need....AND don't need within a DAY! Now, Amazon is still relevant with box stores. With two other major competitors still running for 1st/2nd place, Amazon's name alone scares the market. Now, we got a shakeup in the grocery industry. We thought the purchase of Whole Foods was enough, now we got a prototype store possibly becoming a new norm. At the Irvine Market Place, there is plenty of parking and towards the side of Amazon Fresh building, there is curbside parking if you decide to order online and pick it up. Even before you get out of the car, you will notice the bright, green carts that show, Amazon is here to stay. As you walk up, with social distancing, there will be TWO lines. One is for the TRADITIONAL Shopping; the other is for the DASH CART EXPERIENCE. Traditional Shopping is just getting a simple, standard Amazon/Grocery shopping cart and going to a checkout register to pay. The Dash Cart Experience is something else. The wait is much longer than traditional due to Social Distancing and limited use of the Dash Carts. My wife and I came in around 2-3pm on a Saturday. Our wait time was about 8-10 minutes. **If you have an Amazon Package to return/pickup, please notify the Amazon Employee at the door, and they will allow you in. You will walk to the back near the kitchen to do Amazon Online Returns/Purchases. When it was our turn to enter the store, we were greeted and informed us to open the Amazon App and swipe to the Amazon Fresh Section for the Dash Cart to scan the QR Code that is at the handle of the Dash Cart. The default payment used on your regular Amazon purchases will be the form of payment used when you check out. When you are complete, you will return close to the store exit where there will be Amazon Fresh Representatives, waiting to help you close out the purchasing session, by tapping the button. Let's get to the fun part of the Amazon Fresh: the Dash Cart Experience. I won't be reviewing the details of the pricing of every item, but more of the experience. In summary, the prices of the products/food are as close to the major grocery chains. Amazon Fresh is competitive and if there was anything major, it would be a few dimes more. I would redistribute the higher price to the cost of the Dash Carts. Guess how much the Dash Carts Cost? $30,000 EACH! That's a cost of a mid-size sedan. The design of the Dash Cart is quite bulky, but I am sure overtime, it will be smaller and less like a desktop and more a size of a smart watch. There are at least four sensors: two within the front and rear of the shopping cart. You will have a console that will track your purchases. At the time of this writing, the Amazon Fresh, load bags for you due to COVID-19 and reusable bags are prohibited. When you pick up an item and drop it in the cart, the Dash Cart tracks it and adds it to your screen. What if you add more than one and load it in your cart...it will track and add ALL of them. Even with the sensors blocked, it will still track your purchases. I really don't know what to say. There are probably more to the tracking than what I saw, but if this is a prototype...Imagine when it rolls out nationwide. When you are complete with your experience, your bags will be transferred to a standard shopping cart due to the hefty price tag of the Dash Carts. Amazon Fresh is something unbelievable and while it is new, it sometime is scary. No need to take your wallet out, no need to put on a conveyor belt, no need to wait to bag. It all has been streamlined to the extreme. When sliding doors, conveyor belts, or even hot food served in a grocery stores, initially, scared us, it became an everyday thing. Like the other competitors, Real Estate is the key. One Stop Shopping! Malls are becoming things of the past and online ordering mixed with physical shopping is a great way to make hybrid products. I was super excited to check out the first "Amazon Fresh" location in OC...until I saw the lines outside. After waiting a few weeks to try to avoid the crowds, I saw only two people in line on Friday afternoon (11/27/2020), so I finally decided to stop by. Located in the Irvine Marketplace, "Amazon Fresh" is a pretty cool concept. When you walk-up, you choose to stand in either one of two lines depending on the shopping experience you want. With the "Traditional Shopping Cart" experience (no wait in line), you simply shop & pay at the check-out as you normally would at a traditional grocery store (no Amazon account required). However, with the "Amazon Dash Cart Experience," (longer wait to get inside), it's a whole different ballgame. And...you already know which one I picked! ;) * Dash Cart Experience*: After a short wait, a friendly associate welcomed me inside & gave me a quick tutorial on how to use the cart & how everything works. There's also a video tutorial on the screen of the cart. Simply scan your Amazon QR code on your phone to the cart, & away you go! Without getting overly technical regarding algorithms & all that fancy-schmancy stuff, it's basically a "tricked-out" cart with a bunch of cameras & sensors all over it. If you place an item in the cart, it will scan the item, & all of its specifications will appear on your Dash Cart screen as a running "tab." If you remove an item from the cart, it is automatically removed from your que (supposedly), but be careful: you don't want to end up paying for something you'd already removed from your cart. This happened to me because the sensors did not sense an item I had removed, & I had to log-out & re-log-in to get the item out of my que. Fortunately, there are plenty of friendly associates to help you, so that part was cool. When you're ready to check-out, simply go to the check-out area designated for "Dash Cart" customers, push the cart over the green arrows, confirm your purchases, & your Amazon account is automatically charged with your receipt emailed to you! Easy-peasy! The only thing I didn't care for was the disorganized clutter of customers waiting to get out...not good during these COVID-19 times. * The Store*: As for the store, itself, it's pretty much your basic supermarket. The produce & meat departments seemed clean & fresh, & the store has your typical packaged & canned foods. There were also "Whole Foods'" 365-branded products, as well as some Amazon brand I'd never heard of before. The prepared foods ($2 pizza, roast chicken plate with roast veggies, etc) look good, but the bakery department did not impress me at all (limited variety of freshly baked goods & they didn't look that great). "Amazon Lockers" are available, plus an "Amazon Customer Service" area, & a special section devoted to "Amazon Best Sellers".....of course. More compact & less upscale than your average Whole Foods, but it has the potential to be a nice little market for a quick grocery run if you're in the area. *COVID-19 Know-Before-You-Go*: Although there are directional arrows in the aisles, social distancing was not being enforced (at least not when I was there). Customers were cluttered much too close to one another in the narrow aisles, & many of the Amazon Associates were running around frantically up-&-down the aisles filling orders, ignoring the directional arrows, bumping into customers if you didn't move out of their way fast enough, & a few were not properly wearing their masks as they pushed you out of their way. Needless to say, I was not comfortable in this setting, so I got out of there as quickly as I could. *Conclusion*: Overall, "Amazon Fresh" is a great concept. There is a nice variety of product, it's quick & easy, & the "cool technology" factor is definitely there. However, it would be better if the store would restrict the number of patrons inside & adopt best practices & enforce social distancing to help keep everyone (employees & customers) safe especially during these critical times. If you are not comfortable being in a crowded space where social distancing is not being enforced, you may want to think twice before visiting. Considering the number of COVID-19 cases steadily rising with more "stay-at-home" orders looming (as early as tomorrow for our neighbours in the adjoining county), I will likely not return to Amazon Fresh for a while. read more

I finally came here because I wanted to try out the fancy shopping carts. The technology is pretty cool and worth experiencing once. The caveat is that the smart carts only hold two paper bags' worth of groceries, and you can't take them out of the store. The selection of items matches what is available on Amazon Fresh, but it is smaller than what you see at most chain grocery stores. There's a good amount of shelves that are just empty, which is a little odd. If I'm ever in the area and need to grab a few items, I may stop by again. read more

A tall slender black woman was harassing a vendor handing out samples. She was pretty rude to the vendor, she went to the back, changed her Amazon shirt and was back pestering the vendor again. She became angry that she couldn't sample the alcohol without her driver license. Even the manager was standing there and told her the same thing. The vendor was very polite and professional, but the woman kept snarling at her and complaining because she was turned down not having her driver license. It was obvious she was harassing the vendor for no reason and should have a more professional attitude in the store. Makes for a negative customer experience. read more

This store still has a lot of bugs (of the technology kind), so I would stay away until those are worked out. Someone else's purchase showed up on my Amazon account, and my own purchase didn't. Not sure if I was charged for their purchase or not (it was 10x as big as mine). Pretty sure the issue wasn't with the Dash cart, so the issue here was with the normal grocery checkout process. How can that have bugs? Spent over an hour on the phone with AZN customer service to attempt to resolve and they offered me a $10 promo certificate. What a joke. I'm a big fan of Amazon so of course I had to try Amazon Fresh. There was a small line of people waiting to enter the store due to COVID. I was given the option to use a DASH cart or a traditional shopping cart. I chose a DASH cart. The DASH carts have touchscreen displays to show you what items are in your shopping cart. The items are scanned into your list by the numerous sensors all over the cart. You get a running total of everything as you shop. I can see this being very helpful for some. There are other feature but I didn't try them. The first thing you do when you get one of these carts is scan the QR code that you pull up on your Amazon app on your phone in order to use your credit card you have on file with Amazon. Don't expect to be doing your weekly shopping for a family of four with these small carts. Whether you choose the new high-tech carts or the traditional carts they are very small. I believe both only have room for two paper bags which are already pre inserted into the new carts. Now that you understand how the carts work let's talk about the store itself. It looks like a traditional grocery store and it feels very much like a Whole Foods if I had to choose a chain that it was similar to. This makes a lot of sense since Amazon bought Whole Foods not that long ago. The store is very clean and well laid out. Prices are a mix for sure. Some things are overpriced while other things are on the cheaper side. I definitely wouldn't call this a discount grocery store. There are a lot of pre-made food items that you can take to go. Some are hot and ready to eat while others come in the form of meal kits to either microwave or cook fresh at home. It really is a nice mix. I didn't buy any of that though. It's all on the pricier side similar to Whole Foods with their fresh food. All the food seemed of high quality from the produce to the deli to the bakery. Definitely similar to Whole Foods. They do have cashiers although since I had a DASH cart I didn't interact with them. In fact, I didn't interact with a single employee other than having to excuse myself multiple times from them almost crashing into me at every turn. They seemed extremely stressed out. I have read a lot of things about the Whole Foods buyout by Amazon when that was happening. Those Whole Food employees were stressed out then just like the employees here. I would imagine that they are constantly being watched and rated just like I have heard from people that work at Amazon warehouses. Once I filled up my two bags it was time to check out and go. There is a single exit lane for people with DASH carts. Once I entered the exit lane an employee came over and explained how things work. Since they already have my credit card on file with my Amazon account all I had to do was verify what was in my cart on the touch screen and agree to pay the total. You take your bags from the cart and leave the cart behind for the employee to put back into rotation. I don't believe you can leave the store with these carts considering how much tech they have on them. Overall, I would say it was a fairly positive experience shopping here. I do wish the prices were lower but they have corrected the biggest flaw in any shopping experience in my opinion. That's the checkout experience. You can be the quickest shopper and have it down to a science but once you get to the checkout line there's always at least one or two customers that slow everything down and that's if you have a good cashier. Often they slow things down. I will definitely be checking out the newest Amazon Fresh store when that opens in Fullerton this week. I'm curious if my opinion will change. read more

Tried the fancy smart shopping cart just for fun and it was nice. In terms of practicality, not so much. It can work if you plan to buy small items but the moment you start buying bulky stuff such as toilet paper/paper towels, it doesn't really fit well in the shopping cart. During the COVID situation, it's really hard to social distance inside when it's crowded and the spacing between the aisles are super narrow. I'm probably refrain from coming here until the pandemic is over, it's just too crowded and not a good place to social distance safely due to the narrow aisles. read more

Terrible, experience. One lady servicing returns and pickups line of 20 ppl just waiting.

Came mid-afternoon on a Sunday. There are two lines, one for regular shopping cart usage and one for the new Dash Carts. Both lines were about 20-30 minute waits, although the regular cart line moved faster. The inside resembled a more compact Whole Foods with prices being more expensive than Ralphs/Trader Joe's/etc for regular grocery items. An employee gave a quick tutorial of the dash cart upon entering the store, explaining that the Dash Cart is intended for quick pick-ups and not for bulky items or if you're planning on buying a lot of stuff. I had some trouble with produce, but regular items were simple to register in the Dash Cart. Social distancing was not really enforced in the store. Almost no one was following the one-way aisle directions on the floor. There are equal if not more Amazon employees frantically running around fulfilling grocery delivery orders which ended up blocking many aisles and causing some extra stress when trying to navigate around. I also took advantage of the pre-order feature at the Pizza Bar ($8.99 for an entire pizza). The system on the app was easy enough to use when ordering the pizza, although I was surprised at the lack of customization options (maybe I didn't see them). My pizza had been sitting out for about 5-10 minutes before the app notified me that the pizza was ready for pickup. You get a lot of pizza for the price, although the quality is average. There were fewer toppings than expected and the crust was not too enjoyable. I would rather go get a similar pizza at Costco for a little bit extra $. Overall, it's a very interesting concept that hopefully improves. Until then, I probably won't return as my needs are better met by other grocery stores. read more

The DASH carts are so much fun to play with but it's not practical at all. You can only fill up almost 2 bags worth of stuff and you can't go over the sensors so you can't really fill up your car. On top of that, you can't take them outside to load the groceries to your car. Make sense. The employees at least transfer the groceries into a regular cart. Seems kind of excessive but it was worth a try. Prices are pretty competitive especially the meat. Produce is not great because it spoiled so quickly compared to other stores produce. You can return your Amazon purchases in the back right corner of the store which is pretty useful. Saves me a trip to UPS and I can get some errands done. read more

I've been shopping at the Jamboree location and walked out twice without buying anything. They never have any rotisserie chicken advertised at $4.95/per chicken When asked how soon the chicken would be replenished, they state about an hour and a half. I have yet to see any chickens on display. They don't lose any money at this price since they never have any in buy. Secondly, tried to buy ribeye steaks on sale at $4.99/lb at 11:00 in the morning and they were out. I heard the butcher explaining to some irate women that you have to get there early in the morning for sale items. They have plenty in stock for the other overpriced goods. They give new meaning to "loss leader" items on sale. I would have purchased there other overpriced groceries at the same time as the sale items but I was so pissed off I left my full shopping cart and drove to Stater Bros. What a ripoff !! read more

Our new favorite neighborhood grocery store! It's conveniently located off of the 5 fwy off jamboree rd and next to Ulta and Bed bath & beyond stores. We've been here twice and so far, it's been a great experience. My husband and I love using the Dash carts which is super convenient to grab the things you need and not have to wait in the checkout line. Everything scans easily in the smart cart, the only tricky thing is getting produce since you have to enter the PLU number and getting multiple items sometimes causes an error. If you figure out how to use the Dash carts like us after the first time, you can literally be in and out in less than 30 minutes! We have yet to try the regular shopping carts since Dash cart is so much easier and quicker! Everyone who works here is super helpful and friendly. We've gotten $10 off $35 purchase coupons each week and the prices are so affordable that we haven't spent over $40 here! We usually spend around $60 or more at Sprouts or Whole Foods Market. I haven't used their online shopping with in-store pick up option yet but it's available on your amazon mobile app. I also love that this store is similar to Whole Foods market concept where they have a deli, pizza, hot foods bar, an bakery which is a convenient option for on-the-go meals. One con is that their vegan options for bread, cheese, protein is limited compared to Whole Foods Market. It also can get really busy so I highly recommend going early morning if you have to shop on the weekends to avoid a line. They open at 7am for those early risers! Another con is that the Dash carts can only fit 2 paper bags full of groceries but we've used that to our advantage to really cut down on unnecessary groceries! We are more mindful shoppers now whenever we get groceries here. Quick update. I received a $10 off coupon if I spend $50. Not a bad deal for a grocery store. I decided I would go check out the grocery experience. I got a smart cart. They are small, and you are limited to two bags. The front door greeter explained that the smart carts are for light shopping. Ok. You have to have the Amazon app on your phone to use the smart cart. That was ok with me because I have the app. The cart itself is not super easy to use. You have to be careful when you put items in or they won't scan. The coupon I had said no alcohol, but my wife had asked me to get vodka so she could make vanilla extract...wink, wink. I had a bottle in the cart, but my groceries totaled more than $50 without the booze. When I got to the checkout, I could not go through because the vodka was in my cart. Staff said I could not use the coupon if I was buying liquor. That was less than optimal. I handed the bottle to the staff member and proceeded out the door. Still giving four stars because the return counter is super convenient. I doubt I will shop for groceries here again. I threw out the other coupon I had. read more

from my experience, most people come here primarily due to the $20 off $40 coupon because when there is no coupon available for the week, this store is much more empty and items are more so stocked. when there is a coupon though, you have to go in the morning to make sure the shelves are fully stocked because at night or during the day, it's not always guaranteed. i do like the dash carts because it's fairly easy and fast to use. recently, i've noticed there has been more of a line to get the dash carts, and the store doesn't allow for customers to use all of the available dash carts because there's always about 10 carts in front that aren't employed. read more

The night my husband and I went for the hot and ready section? It was pretty much empty. Pizza wait was an hour and there was a couple of warm sandwiches that we were able to order. I got the meatball sandwich and he got the Cuban. My sandwich was ok, not a fan of the bread but my husband liked his. We also got whatever was left over of the samosas, which were ok. They were dry. I feel like you got to here for lunch. The grocery store seems nice! Despite the reputation of Amazon as focused on low prices I would say unless you're an Amazon Prime member you're probably not going to save any money shopping here and even then maybe not unless you are also shopping with the Amazon Prime card or a credit card offering 5% or better back on groceries and there is some other promotion going on. A lot of items for the list price on the shelf are quite a bit more expensive than at Target or at Stater Bros that are only a couple blocks away. There are some occasional promos (e.g. 20% off on $50 or more) that will make it price competitive on many items. Their print coupons do usually also offer discounts to non-Prime members, but they're obviously quite a bit less appealing so are much less likely to bring the inflated shelf price to something competitive. I went here a couple times after their Grand Reopening, but honestly didn't see a huge change. Whereas selection it is largely a subset of the much larger selection of Whole Foods. There are a couple of 365 brand items from Whole Foods sold at Amazon Fresh, but if you are looking for selection you are better off going down the road to the Whole Foods at Tustin Legacy. I struggled to find much here that I couldn't easily buy at another grocery store. Honestly, the selection isn't even as good as a Stater Bros. It is bigger than a Grocery Outlet location and obviously carries more brand name items than Grocery Outlet, but there are fewer unique items here than almost any other grocery store. If you're not too particular on brand names Grocery Outlet will often carry things are cheaper. One other thing I have ran into 2 of the last 3 times I have gone here is that they sometimes double scan items. You may want to do self checkout or be on the lookup for errors. I had one cashier that told me it was going to take 15 minutes to void that extra item and it would just be easier to grab another off the shelf. I don't think I have seen comparably error prone cashiers elsewhere. I will say on the plus that you can drop off Amazon returns here so it, but I'm not sure that there is a lot to attract one to shop here unless you are a Prime member, you have a cc that will give you 5% or more back on the transaction, and there is a promotion going on at the time. Concept is there, execution is off. Customer service needs some love. On approach, nobody greets you or even tells you what to do or where to go (since there are lines setup). There wasn't anyone in line and the people were too busy chatting with each other to acknowledge me or my question for 5 minutes. Once you're inside they offer you a regular or dash cart, I opted for the tech to try it out. Definitely needs some work. The smart carts are okay, but basically they're beta. They only scanned some items properly, others wouldn't process. The dash cart was also too small for anything more than dinner for the night. The prices are decent on some items, astronomical on others. Selection is mediocre, and they have most standard items. When we tried to checkout the cart had major problems and the girl had trouble understanding what was wrong - took about 5 minutes to checkout once she re-added our items with her little code. We paid with the Amazon app and my card on file so that was nifty. On our way out we almost got plowed down by all the Amazon Fresh drivers picking up orders. Someone should probably ask them to not kill their customers out front. Overall, we'll likely skip this place next time and just go to Target or Ralph's as usual. read more

The employee did a good job of explaining how the cart worked. Positives: 1) Items are tallied as you out then in the cart 2) For produce, you enter a PLU number. Cart automatically weighs the produce 3) Enter a quantity for produce that is per piece (such as bananas) 4) prices are real good 5) paper bags are free 6) total is automatically charged to your Amazon account (you pair your Amazon App with cart on entry) Negatives: 1) The Smart Cart only holds 2 bags (employees give you more bags when you go through the verification area) 2) Smart Cart usage slows the movement through store because if need to enter qualities (in produce area). 3) Produce, meat, seafood counters were slow (I think because employees are new) 4) you sometimes have to take item out of cart and renter to get it recognized properly 5) need to carefully review electronic receipt before emerging verification area as some items were counted twice Overall good experience. Here's my completely honest review. I'll just list the pros and cons. Pros: 1) very clean 2) lots of workers to answer questions 3) prepared food area has a large selection from sushi to sandwiches to seafoood/beef, chicken entrees with sides, etc... 4) the dash cart is pretty cool Cons: 1) One way aisles are a pain especially when people don't follow the signs. The aisles are too narrow for 2 lane traffic so when you run into an oblivious person, you have to make awkward eye contact and let them know they're going the wrong way. 2) lots of workers STANDING IN THE AISLES BLOCKING THE WAY. Like seriously. There are SOOOOO many workers just standing around oftentimes being in the way. 3) maybe it's the pandemic but all the aisles seemed to have been ransacked and lots of items are missing. 4) everyday items are more expensive. Milk costs $1 more than Stater Bros. Eggs cost 0.75 more on average. 5) You cannot take the dash carts out of the store. So the options are either a) take everything you bought in paper bags or b) they bring you another cart. This extra steps defeats the purpose of the instant checkout as it takes up even more time. Fun as a gimmick. Definitely go try it out once then never go back again because other markets have more selection and lower prices. The dash carts are cool though. Hopefully Amazon improves the shopper experience and work on the layout of their store because this is a huge swing and a miss. read more

The dash cart is a cool and interesting experience, super simple to use and my kids love it! Very fast and convenient - unlike any other grocery store. Cool store! The staff was helpful and friendly, and the cart concept is super awesome. If there is a line outside and you don't care about the smart cart (it's pretty much the main reason I wanted to go to this store), you can bypass the line (or move to a shorter line) and opt for a regular shopping cart. If you get the smart cart (I recommend trying it), don't forget to get your Amazon app ready on your phone ahead of time; you need to scan a QR code to the cart (don't worry, a staff member will explain as you enter). Overall, pretty exciting to see what the future of retail might be like. read more

It absolutely boggles my mind how many people shop at this store when it is so poorly managed. It's not like the prices are cheap here, you can get the same or better at your local market. They do have some of the Whole Foods 365 brand products. But most of the staff are not able to answer any questions. And the set up defies logic. This was only my second time here but here's what I noticed. In any other market all of your non-dairy milks would be in the same approximate area. Not here. Here it is in 3 different areas. I was looking for a specific kind, unsweetened vanilla almond milk. There is a large refrigerated section with unsweetened almond milk(not vanilla), sweetened vanilla almond milk and coconut milk. As I continued walking I saw a couple of other non-dairy milk varieties at the far side of another refrigerated case. Figured that they didn't stock unsweetened vanilla. Found it when I was looking for something else. It was at the other end of the store, opposite their cheese section. I was looking for a particular frozen dinner on my prior trip here, Amy's gluten-free veggie loaf. It was not where the other Amy's frozen dinners are. I left without buying it. On this trip I found it by accident when I was looking for something else. It is by itself in a completely different freezer section, with no other organic or gluten free dinners. Not only is it a problem for customers but I can't imagine how much time and effort is wasted by the staff filling Amazon Fresh orders. At 7 o'clock in the evening, when I went to check out there was only one register open. I saw three other cashiers at their stations plus a couple of other employees doing other things. They would glance over occasionally as the one line kept getting longer. Finally someone actually decided to open a second register. With all the people looking for jobs, perhaps they'll actually hire a manager who knows what they are doing. As for me, I will just order on Amazon fresh when I don't have time to shop. When I do have time, I will go to Sprouts (which has great produce, great variety of organic and special diet fare and has great sales. read more

Been there for approximately 5 times and wanted to share my experiences: Pros: 1. Access to a wide varieties of products including fresh produce 2. Provide B&M access for amazon returns 3. Fresh bakery/Bars offering ready to eat foods such as pizza, salad and sandwiches. 4. Pricing is competitive Cons: 1. Shelves needs restock more frequently. 5/5 times when visited the store always seeing empty shelves not being restocked 2. Dash cart needs major improvements. 5/5 times would not recognize the produces that put into the cart. Wasted more time and defeat the purpose of having this technology 3. Paying with Amazon App is a PITA. The so-called "in-store FRESH CODE" is BURIED somewhere within the amazon app which doe snot automatically popped up as needed (3/5 times). DOES NOT take Apple pay either. Amazon you can definitely do better than that. Will change the review next time when re-visited the store read more
