I'm sorry to see that the physical store will be closing... I guess most folks prefer ordering delivery, and they will continuo to offer that but I like to browse the store. I always find amazing deals. I like to "shop small" and support local establishments, of course, but it's nice to earn points for my Amazon account as well as find almost everything I need at decent prices in one stop. The staff is always pleasant and helpful, too. Their hot and salad bars, bakery, pizza bar and hot chicken sections are gone already, as they are closing in two weeks, BUT I found today when I shopped that they had cut prices dramatically on many, many items that I buy, and from healthy brands that I like. I spent very little for quality food items. That was always a plus here - they carry the mainstream brands, their own brand, some of the Whole Foods 365 brand, and many organic and hard to find brands at decent prices. I am sorry to see yet another grocery store leave this spot, though there are others in the area. I will continue to shop for deals until they close, and I hope others will take advantage of it as well. read more

I'm so sad about the news that Amazon Fresh is closing!! I frequent this location and the Cerritos location pretty frequently where I go to at least one of these locations 1-2x a week for groceries. This store particularly has great deals and the friendliest employees! I've never had a bad experience here and will continue to visit while they're still open. Worthless employees that couldn't care less about the safety or the customers experience. 11/9/25 2:25-2:45pm (timestamp to watch the security cameras) The hot foods was done for the day, saw a guy putting empty clean trays back on the hot food counter. I had to circle back to get a salad I forgot, then I went back down and the guy doing the trays was gone, but when I walked by the counter I slipped and almost ate the pavement. Water all over the ground. Apparently when they clean those trays they don't care to dry them off. They let them drip water all over the floor. There was water on BOTH sides of the hot food counter. I saw the same guy walk by and told him "Hey, come here!" "I need your help" I point to the water on the ground. "I almost broke my freaking neck man, look at all this water" He did not care what so ever. Ran away in the back of the kitchen. I don't think he actually cleaned it up. Then trying to find some pork rinds, and couldn't find any. Asked a guy who was stocking the chips if they had these. He says they were on the next isle. The next isle was sports drinks. He basically lied to me to get me away from him. I notice employees will send you on a goose chase in order for them to get you away from them. The rudeness of these employees doesn't end there. I go back to get another salad because they didn't have another salad I wanted so I wanted to get 2 cobb salads. The same employee still there milking the clock still isn't done. But this time he blocking the salads. I asked him if I could get in there real quick. Completely ignores me. I stand next to him for a min or so realize he was not going to move. I circle back around behind him to watch what he is doing. This guy is just milking the clock doing nothing. I mean hes just touching the shelves literally doing nothing. I walked around the whole store getting my items and came back to this guy doing the same thing. The absolute incompetent employees I have ever seen. Bunch of no F's given worthless people that do not care about anything. People out here wish they had a job and you got these clowns working here. Who ever their boss is needs to keep an eye out on their employees because they do NOTHING!!!! read more

Came in for my son he wanted a snack lol (after our chiropractor visit across the street. Today he got a broccoli soup that another passing customer was recommending. To go along with that he also got a salad. I like coming here, we feel welcomed as we come in, someone always greeting us and ready to help us. The store always looks fully stocked and organized. This Amazon Fresh is currently my favorite grocery store! They have the Dash carts where you can scan your items as you go and pay from the cart in a special lane before you exit. Love the family parking spots in front with extra space. Everyone I've encountered who works there has been very friendly. Prices are fair and they frequently have coupons. Pizza isn't that great especially compared with Whole Foods but I like that they have hot food at all. Would recommended giving this shop a try! read more

Order was "lost" and never found so I had to shop in person, therefore wasting even more time than if I had just done so to begin with. I had exactly 15 items and he raised his voice, made me put everything back in my cart, cleared my screen for me, and go to a regular checkout all before I could explain myself as I had exactly 15 items and he wouldn't budge. This store can be a bit overwhelming at first, but once you get the hang of it, it's lovely. I'll preface this by saying I did not use the smart cart available (I didn't feel comfortable logging in and doing things for the first time). The produce section is ample, and well organized. Some deals are listed on the items themselves, others you have to look up on the Amazon fresh section of your app. The store is laid out in an understandable manner, with the exception of one aisle with miscellaneous "clearance" items. There's also a random salad and olive bar that's reminiscent of whole foods. The freezer section can be sparse depending on sales (for example, talenti sorbet was wiped out understandably because of a buy one get one sale). Service was helpful, and cashiers seem to want to help you get the best deals. They're also incredibly patient, which is nice. I will be back. read more

So I went again today and low and behold they were better but apparently they don't abide by the emergency declaration of the rest of Los Angeles and allow EBT card holders to purchase Hot food. Even when they have lost everything in the fires. So I called the manager Carlos. He said there's nothing HE can do. I would have to call the 800 number. Hmm it's now my job to do customer service for The store. Okey dokey I thought that's why they have managers to do that. So I left with my cold carnitas and paid Cash for it as it wasn't hot any longer, defeats the purpose really. Bezos is a oligarch who is above us pions and Amazon stores I'm hoping will fail. A solid supermarket with two main areas I like: The produce section and the salad bar. The produce seems consistently fresh and offers a good selection at reasonable prices, and the food bar has a decent selection of tasty salads. The prices for the salad bar are a bit high to buy in any volume, but fine for smaller evening meal quantities. The main negative I have is that they're emphasizing their automated employee-free checkout option, but I'm not a huge fan of those carts. If you choose to check out using a cashier-staffed line, the waits can be unnecessarily long depending on the time of day. read more

I love amazon go and hate Amazon fresh. You walk in and get blocked when the worker wants to convince customers to take the cart. Then they have deals but doesn't ring ip correctly, so then you wait 10 minutes for one manager and the manager doesn't know how to adjust the purchase. I had to walk away because the savings even with coupon not worth it. Cheaper to go to Ralph's, smart final, sprouts, Costco. I get people just got trained but they really need more assistance to get everyone up to par. It's not the workers fault. Upper leadership needs to invest in the workers to make the experience worth the extra cost at Amazon Fresh. read more

Never have a felt so frustrated by shopping at Amazon Fresh as I did today. Also I have 2 orders being delivered there today but I cannot scan at the pick-up window for the in store credit because my orders were delayed by Amazon. So it is CONDIDTIONAL to scanning for the store credit. Apparently my $, orders and grocery shopping are not good enough to shop at Amazon Fresh. It is so sad. We used to find the convenience of shopping here enjoyable and easy. But today our order had to be scanned TWICE because we had an Amazon gift card and linking it to our Amazon account was just too much to ask. This will definitely affect whether we do our grocery shopping here in the future. It just may not be worth the hassle with Stater directly accros the street. read more

Can we maybe get a sign up that says what the self check out hours are and stick to that? One time I go they tell me it closes at 7. Next time I got back it's before 7 and as I walk up they are closing it. Next time I go at 6 and it's already closes. There's 2 cashiers and 20 people. It shouldn't take 20 mins to check out at a grocery store. I come here cause the prices are good and it's quick despite the shelves often being mostly empty and missing a lot of items I'm shopping for. I've been shopping at the Long Beach store off and on since it opened. Customer service at this location is the worst I've ever experienced in a grocery store, period! I've had several issues with missed pricing; today was the last straw. I grabbed an item out of the frozen food section marked $4.99. Although it's not my job, I cross-referenced the description with the item. At check-out, it ran up to $8.49. I walked an employee to where I found it, priced at $4.99. He mumbled something about a mistake and then told the cashier it was $8.49 without acknowledging the item was in fact marked $4.99, making me sound like a liar. There have been many other issues; the employees here don't know what they are doing, and are rude on top of it. I left my groceries and walked out of the store. Here, the customer is always wrong, even when they are right! I have been an Amazon Prime member for years. We deserve much better service than this. I won't be back! read more

The workers there are the sweetest they try their best to help out and create Viv's with the customers. 806 this morning what is today today's the 3rd of December I go in there and I get one of their cooked chickens fresh from the deli they just come out of the oven I was one of the first customers the chicken is raw but I didn't find that out I got all the way to work 50 miles away so I called for a refund and they say no $5.97. They could have put it on my account I buy hundreds of dollars a month from Amazon online so they could have put it on my account $6 but since they didn't and I want everyone to know anything you buy there you better check it before you leave the store it didn't occur to me to cut the chicken open to see if it was bloody raw obviously they didn't cook it anywhere near long enough probably they didn't come in till late and they don't want anyone to know they came in late so they cook it 15 minutes instead of the 40 minutes you're supposed to cook it read more

Good options, store is clean, and the greeter are always polite. My issue is the reservation slots you place your order 6-7 hours ahead and when the pick up time is nearing they text you saying your order is late. Trying to get a time.or a hold of someone at the store it is hard as it prompts you to the 1800 number. It is better to do your own purchase because pick up time for busy people never works out.
