I'm updating my review because the new weekday hours = open at 8am! I'm so happy they took the local feedback! Not a full 5 stars because sometimes it takes foreverrrr for the food to be prepared. I don't expect it to be instant of course, but since it's a to-go style location with few places to sit and wait, it could be a little more consistent when it comes to preparation. I've been in there with literally 2 other people and had it take over 20 minutes, but also been in there when it's packed and had it be only 5 minutes - yes, for the same order. It's just odd. But the food is consistently delicious and extremely reasonably priced, so glad it's in the neighborhood! read more

Ambience is just as important as the product, to me, and Amazon Juices hits the mark on both. Great location with street parking right in front, and amazing juice combinations. Today I got the Detox which had one of my favorites: ginger. Besides the juice they have sandwiches and your favorite South American products for your kitchen, or a great hostess gift. OMG!!! The 3 bowls we ordered were so fresh and super DELICIOUS!!! Wish we had an Amazon Juice in Campbell!!

I give my experience 3.5/5 stars. the Tri Tip Spring Salad I ordered was a very good portion but nothing was particularly amazing about it. The tri tip itself was a huge portion but the pieces were not cut up enough (they only had plastic knives so I think it would have been nice if they cut it up more). The salad had a nice variety of veggies: beets, cucumbers, carrots, cherry tomatoes, sprouts, hearts of palm & lettuce. I could have done with out the single mushy slice of mozzarella. The two employees I interacted with were both very friendly & helpful. When I asked how many ounces of protein was in certain dishes they didn't know the numeric measurement but seemed happy to show me the amount before I ordered. I also asked them if they had a vinaigrette dressing which the woman working the counter responded that it was an herb vinaigrette though after eating it I believe it was more of a creamy balsamic. While checking out they stated their internet wasn't very good in the area & they needed to reboot it to try to run my cc again, which was fine I wasn't in a hurry but hopefully they can get that fixed before a busy day when customers don't have time to spare. I've heard of AJ and have enjoyed my visits to Cafe Brazil so when my step Dad suggested we go to AJ I replied YES! We both got Acai Bowls and the first thing I noticed was the very pleasant cashier she was genuinely interested in how we were doing. We found a place to sit at the bar where there were two others sitting enjoying their visit. In a matter of minutes our bowls were ready and we picked them up at the counter. I already was pleased before I sat back down because my bowl was filled to the brim with acai smoothie and fruit and granola. Much larger servings than cafe brazil which has won me over bigtime. The flavor of the smoothie and the bananas strawberries and granola were heavenly. The serving was just right, we had a nice visit at AJ, and the folks that work at AJ all wished us well when we left. Great folks, great food, perfect portions, it was perfect! read more

If you guys were open later I would eat here twice a day. As is I eat lunch here everyday. Some of the best food in Santa Cruz and that includes dinner restaurants. This place is fantastic and has the best fresh healthy food from salads to rice bowls, breakfast and lunch burritos and sandwiches. It's much more than a juice bar, seriously amazing food and super friendly and inviting employees. We've been without a kitchen for nearly a year remodeling so this place is my daily go to. read more

Came to Amazon juices due to my love for cafe Brazil. The location is far from downtown Santa Cruz, but being in Capitola it is only a few minutes from the mall and beautiful beaches. The location is in a great place to spend your Sunday morning. This spot is much less crowded then the infamous Cafe Brazil. Although, parking was a little tricky since there are only a few spots in front of the restaurant and many cars passing through 41st. I recommend parking on 41st if the restaurant parking is filled. Once inside the ambiance is very relaxed. Low level music makes it a great place to conversate. Service is quick and there are practically no lines, so you can go in and out. The food is also conveniently packed ib biodegradable to go containers so even easier to take out. I ordered a passionfruit acai jr. bowl and my partner ordered a Portabello bowl it came out to about $17. I was pleasantly surpised when my food came out in about 5 minutes! My passionfruit bowl was delicous. The base was tangy and the right frozen conistency. The toppings included bananas, strawberries and gronola. The bowl was really filling even though it was just a jr. Size. The description said there would be coconut shavings, and although my bowl did not have any I still found it perfect. I am however, giving a lower rating due to my partners bowl. The plate came with three peices of muchroom. Portions were really small for the price. Other then the small portabello peices there was rice, and a lackluster salad with a plain peice of motzarella, and ranch. The rice was extrmely dry and flavorless. Same for the salad. Together it was a measley, unfufilling salad. The plate was suppose to come with carmalized onions and bell peppers but did not. My partner and I just ended up sharing my acai bowl. Really do not recommend the plates, but really recommend the acai bowls. read more

I live on the east side and getting over to the West side and wait for an hr+ long line for Cafe Brasil is too much... that's why I love Amazon Juices! It took me a while to figure it out it's the same owner, but now I'm all set! I can grab a nice "Very Berry "smoothie which is my favorite after my work out at In-shape. Wish I could give zero stars. If you want an Organic Açaí Bowl this is NOT your place. Their bowls are filled with non organic fruit and tree top non organic apple juice. When I saw the employee pouring the apple juice into the blender I said, excuse me, I thought your bowls were organic. It says so on the big sign in your window. The employee then replied, yeah the owner likes that sign . So basically if you want an actual organic Açaí bowl you might want to head over to New Leaf on 41st or Samba rock downtown. read more

Love this place! Acai bowls are delicious and filling. Their smoothies and other food are great as well! I'd recommend their breakfast sandwiches as well. Cool vibe, walking distance to East Cliff, parking is a little rough at times, but is usually available behind AJ in the apartment complex! Love these bowls-- More than others since I enjoy a slushier Açaí than the usually dense versions. Quick service. A bit bummed that they state they're open until 5pm and I was there at 4:15 and the guy said "sorry we are closing early these days". Second time this has happened. I came in randomly while walking down Eastcliff with a friend. I had an amazing breakfast burrito and a coconut water/cucumber/mint juice drink. Both were so flavorful and great. So many choices of veggies and fruits for the juices and the burrito I had a hard time choosing. The ambiance was soothing with reggae music playing. Very clean. Very friendly staff as well. I was at Samba Rock one weekend brunch and the lines where absolutely crazy. I've like Samba but I don't like wasting time putting your name on the list and hanging out for an hour to get a table. Well one of the servers told me that they have a sister place called Amazon Juices on 41st that is not very crowded. Funny as I had no idea this place existed and I pass by hear to the beach a dozen times a year. Well I came over here immediately and was impressed. One thing I really like about this place is the ability to modify your order. If they use apple juice as a base and you really like orange juice you can customize your order. They also have a lot of choices of bowls that you will not find at Samba like Passion fruit bowls acerola . I'm less of a sweet tooth person so I like the acerola cherry bowl or the Sunset Smoothie that has cacao fruit and acerola in it. Both are great and filling. I haven't tried the juices or salads as I usually just go to New Leaf for that. But this place is now my go to quick stop to get me some Brazilian goodness. read more

Paid $7 for a juice that suppose to contain kale, spinach, cucumber, ginger, lime, apple and orange (what I normally juice at home) but only tasted the bitterness of kale and ginger. I asked the girl if she could add more apple juice and she just took my cup and said something to the guy who made my juice. They were talking amongst each other and chuckling. A few things that might help: * The food at this place is great, but you'd never know it from the name "Amazon Juices"??? Not sure how many people have driven by this place looking for lunch or breakfast and skipped it thinking it's only a juice bar. * Kind of tied to the last point, but why not just name the place Cafe Brazil since it's under the same ownership? Cafe Brazil is always packed and already has a great following. You don't see Betty Burger naming their downtown location "The Milkshake Shack". * If you're going to do breakfast - 9am is to late. I've walked by this place a few times thinking I'd try out the breakfast only to see that they're closed. Anyway... good place with great food. Much more to offer than just juices. Excellent juices and service! Haven't yet had any of the food, but the blueberry/banana/almond milk smoothie on the "light juices" menu is absolutely delicious and refreshing on a warm day. Not heavy, but has enough substance to fill you up (especially if you add whey powder). The guys behind the counter are charming and friendly. The ONLY thing I wish they'd add is a calorie count for each menu item. It's hard to tell exactly what you're getting, calorically. Wholesome ingredients can still add up! read more

Low sugar, high protein, superfoods, etc. They offer vegan and gluten free options, even raw vegan options. Sheesh! They have everything. I spend forever trying to choose! A perfect place for busy people to get good nutrition! The add-ons are great: things like spirulina, chlorophyll, chia, etc. Prices are good. So nice to have a place focused on the juices. Finally! I used to drive to the West Side to Cafe Brazil-now they've brought they're wonderful juices, bowls, salads and light plates to Capitola! Huge portion in ACAI bowel, and now you can add protein. I had their chicken plate with brown rice and "small" salad. The salad was incredible for a side, huge with many fresh ingredients including beets. The chicken is marinated in their special beer sauce and is very light and delicious. Staff is warm and friendly. Will definitely be here often! read more

This place is fantastic! Really good food, pretty reasonable prices and very lovely service. I called in an order for breakfast the other day, it ended up running late from when they said it would be done. While I waited, they handed me a little acai granola cup with apologies for taking longer and assured me they were getting it made up - this was a) delicious and b) attentive and thoughtful. Running late happens, acknowledging it thoughtfully is very nice. And they're always smiling and attentive when I go in, so I definitely recommend this spot if you're on 41st. read more
