    The BBQ Burger
    Jack M.

This bar has an extensive beer list and knowledgeable staff. The food is made from scratch and you can tell. I ordered the BBQ vurger The bun was drier than I'd like, but acceptable soft and chewy. The burger did not have a dense maillard crisp and was packed too densely, but the meat quality was good, both juicy and flavorful. The tangy BBQ sauce was intelligently contrasted to the savor of the cheese and bacon. Overall this was a good burger. And the side fries were fresh, crisp, and well seasoned.

Came here for a birthday get together over the weekend and it did not disappoint. The drink prices were reasonable and the food was delicious (highly recommend the spicy fried pickles and the bbq chicken pizza). I think our group overwhelmed the staff since it is a small place. Service was a bit wonky at times because of this but they couldn't have been nicer or more accommodating. We were downstairs for a majority of the evening which was great aside from that they couldn't take cash down there, only cards. The downstairs closed probably around 10:30 and we were asked to go upstairs instead to mingle. I look forward to going back on a normal evening, not with a large group.

    Happy hour sampler

This new restaurant is not located in the best of areas but would not let that pass it up. Upon entering the upstairs bar is rustic, open, and industrial. Very different than anything this area has. The windows are garage doors that open up which is awesome for nice weather. The music is awesome- everything from hits to oldies. Each table has an outlet at their seat which is always a nice touch. Their happy hour menu (4-6) is very great- $3 beef tacos, $7 sampler (wings, dumplings, calamari, meatballs), and $1.50 off all drinks. We got the sampler and would highly recommend that for a happy hour. It should be added to the regular menu to try all that the rest of the menu has. My only reason for a star off is when ordering the pickle back we thought it was an actual cocktail, but it was pickle back shots. It was awesome that it was in a pickle I just felt like the menu writing was off. The other was that the staff was not confident at all. When presenting the menu or needing to answer questions it was very hard to get an answer. I know they are new but this was something I felt effected my rating. We went downstairs and it was not what I expected. Seems like a basement with a bar and games. Christian was our bartender and he was so friendly and personable! He let us know there will be a 70 inch tv coming soon for games. Also that live music will be coming on Thursdays and Saturday's and possibly karaoke! **heads up the word specials is spelled wrong on the menu** I will be back and are curious about deals they have for eagles games because this area needs another sports bar!

    Cape May Haze Pale Ale

This bar is right around the corner from me and I absolutely love it. They did an excellent job with the decor and atmosphere. I have been able to get here 3 times since it has open but just to grab a drink and appetizer. The beer selection is good, but I hope it rotates and stays fresh. I enjoyed the Cape May Haze Pale Ale each time I have been and then had the sweet potato pirogies which were delicious. The staff was very friendly but there are still some bumps in the road, as expected with a brand new restaurant. They seem to still be learning their POS and prices sometimes don't match up so double check your bill, they are very understanding and get it changed ASAP. With 2 floors and over 8 TVs this is a great spot to watch the game without being in a huge crowd as well as a great place to grab an after work drink or pre-drink before heading out on the town.

    "Nachos"
    Ishani M.

This place has the best ambiance, good drinks and they don't kick you out like most places in this city when you hit an hour & a half. Almost 5 stars but the nachos were less than satisfying....Idk who serves 5 chippies with a dash of cheese and fancy fixings for $13 and calls it nachos.....See photo for reference

My partner and I always drive by this place and we're drawn to the curb appeal and design. So cute! The perfect city neighborhood bar. We had just finished eating so we only ordered drinks. They were really tasty. The community fridge is the cutest thing, we love the concept! The menu was solid mostly made up of bar food (wings, fries, burgers, grilled cheese, etc). We will def come back for food.

Some food has been eaten but large portions and such accommodating staff!!

The people that work here were so amazing. Outdoor seating was perfect. They turned on the lights the moment it got too dim out. Service was incredible and the short rib tacos were the best I've ever had. Large pours of wine too. Great prices. Stop by for sure :)

Two beautifully handcrafted cocktails, to the left we have the "The Dutch's Mezcal" and to the right "The Empress" both were amazing!

Each table has three sauces. There is the white sauce, and a red and green sauce. The white sauce is good - like a mix between ranch and tzitzaki. The green sauce is minty, and the red one is spicy. I was really happy with the lamb. It was very tender and flavorful. It also came hot out of the grill. It didn't have a "strong" lamb flavor and was slightly smoky. The rice was super fragrant. I think it had a lot of butter or oil so it felt moist, and the carrots/raisons inside were a nice touch. The food went really well with the three sauces. There was also a good cardamom flavor inside. The food came with a ciabatta-like fried bread. I recommend this restaurant

To that end, we never had problems with their food. We typically get their Make your own Bowl option. Their Slaw and Potatoes are very distinctive and delicious as base options. We appreciate how their Yeeroh Meats are actually shaved fresh and not some pre-packaged meat or something that isn't shaved, which kind of runs counter to the point. Their hummus is solid as well. The only thing to note is almost all of the veggie toppings aren't necessarily always prepared -- the tomatoes for example are straight up grape tomatoes they throw onto your bowl which could overpower the meal. Still would recommend them as a solid restaurant in the area. What you didn't come here for: - Water: There's no free water option (or at least if there was, I'd be suspect given Philly's reputation) - Restrooms: There is a single occupancy restroom in the rear but... - Accessibility: While it's wheelchair accessible, the path to the restroom gets tight since that hall is where they store their high chairs for kids as well. It could be workable but you'd need some help from someone to move things around for you. - Seating: There is limited seating up front but it's often enough. - Will it fill you up? Yes the serving sides are generous.

I ended up creating my own bowl. I selected the steak, rice, cucumbers, tomatoes and a hummus. At Naf Naf Grill, it's all about fresh ingredients, flavor and the ability to create your meal as you would like. I ran into one minor issue when I went in and there was no pita available for purchase that night. They actually gave me extra hummus which I thought was very nice! I didn't like the steak as much as I had expected. The steak was a little chewy and difficult to eat. However, the fresh vegetables and the hummus were very good and helped make up for the steak! Overall, the experience was good enough for a quick grab and go type of dinner. Since it was convenient and they were open at the time I arrived, I would give them another chance if in the area again. The employees were helpful! The ingredients seemed to be good quality and Naf Naf was one of the only places in the area at the time open at night, so that made the restaurant a pretty good bet for a quick bite after a long day of work. There are probably some adjustments I can make to my protein selection next time, or some new options I can look into trying from the menu before I go back. But based on this experience, I would likely visit again if I'm in the area!
