I have been going to Amber for about 5 years now and I absolutely LOVE her!!! For my wedding, I told her I wanted a style that was up for the wedding but could easier be pulled down for the reception. She did exactly that. My style held up during the ceremony and pictures and with the pull of a few pins, was able to pull the curls down. I hadn't colored my hair in years because of the damaged that had been done by previous stylists. Amber assured me that color would not damage my hair. I had 6 ladies and myself who needed curls for the big day and Amber was able to do it all in no time with the help of another stylist. 4 of the ladies had beautiful updos with braided or twisted styles and the rest of us had long curls. I recently moved to Cali and I needed a hairdresser. I've been getting my hair done by my aunt since I was born, so I knew it wasn't going to be easy finding someone. I came across Amber's page and the way her clients talk about her reminded me of how I talk about my aunt (she's also a hairstylist) Before Amber started doing my hair she asked me if there were any products I couldn't have in my hair (a certain brand of relaxer, for example). Amber put some serious TLC while doing my hair. The last stylist I went to cut my hair so unevenly but because Amber values her clients' beauty, she noticed it and corrected it. She was a good conversationalist and she just made me feel right at home. It really felt like my aunt was doing my hair, especially when she rinsed my hair, they have the same technique. When I left her salon, I didn't know how to act, lol she made me look so good! Just from talking to her I could tell she takes pride in making every client SLAAAAAAY and she enjoys it! The next day I went to work, (with my usual cover on, thinking no one would notice the haircut), I had several women asking to see my hair.
