We had the AC replaced in our condo September of 2022 by Mojave Air. Now here we are almost 4 years later and the AC stopped cooling. We've been using Fast & Affordable Air for maintenance. Today they replaced the capacitor, but the unit still did not cool. They suggested we contact Mojave Air since it maybe under warranty. It took some researching, but I found a press release that Ambient Edge acquired Mojave Air. Jamie Castro came out today and quickly diagnosed that we needed refrigerant and dye to seal any micro leaks. The AC is now cooling again! Unfortunately it was not covered by the warranty but at least the AC is working again in time for the Las Vegas summers. Thank you Ambient Edge. read more

My mother-in-law (who's from another country and speaks English as her second language) unfortunately put her trust in an unlicensed "family friend" to install a new HVAC and A/C unit. She paid $5,000 for the unit and $2,000 for labor, thinking she was getting a good deal. What she got instead was a total mess... the guy basically "Frankensteined" the system together and even left a gaping hole near the unit. We had multiple professionals look at the setup, and every single one of them was shocked. They all told us, respectfully, that it was absolutely not installed properly and could've led to something dangerous like a fire or carbon monoxide leak. That's when we called Ambient, and honestly, we're so glad we did. From start to finish, they were incredibly professional, efficient, and kind. They removed the botched setup, installed a proper HVAC system, and got everything running all in the same day. Huge shoutout to the whole team: Dawson was the first one we met. Super respectful, and immediately gave us a clear, honest assessment of the situation. He explained everything in a way that made us feel informed and confident, especially after the stress we'd been through. He really earned our trust. Jaime and Brandon came out next and were just as kind and professional. They took the time to explain why hiring licensed professionals is so important, and even brought a little treat for our dogs when they returned to help with a portable A/C setup. Small gestures like that go a long way. Steve, who helped us with financing, was incredibly patient and kind with my mother-in-law. He walked her through all of the options in a way that was easy to understand, and even contacted his manager to help us out. Thanks to him, we were able to get a donation write-off for the faulty system she had paid for. We're so grateful for his extra effort. Nick and Harland were the ones who actually installed the new system and wow, they worked nonstop from 7:50 AM to 8:00 PM without taking a single break. They were respectful, hardworking, and made sure we were comfortable the entire time. Even in a tiny, hot attic with dangerous, sloppy work left behind, they handled everything with care. My mother-in-law felt so comfortable, she even took a nap while they worked! They cleaned up thoroughly afterwards too, vacuuming and dusting, which we truly appreciated. Overall, we were put in a terrible situation, but Ambient completely turned it around. We can't thank them enough for their honesty, professionalism, and kindness throughout this process. I had a problem with my air conditioning freezing up . Ambient Edge came out and told me to turn it off so it could unfreeze . Then they came back and checked everything . They needed to add coolant but they also put a dye in to see if there was a leak. Christopher checked everything again this morning and said there was no leak . I have been a member of their loyalty program for about. I want to say one year but Ii might've been two so far. I can't remember every maintenance person they have sent out to help me has been above the top. Just fantastic! Nick Scott came to my home today after, a bad situation with my air conditioning unit and he is one of the most professional, compassionate knowledgeable workers that Ambient Edge can offer. He was great and he resolved the issue and just a couple hours. AC back and running and back to a cool temperature as opposed to 105°. he was a great guy and very helpful and I am thankful for him. This goes for all workers at Ambient Edge as well. Those on the phones those in the office the maintenance guys everybody I have encountered from Ambient Edge is top-of-the-line! If I could give 0 stars I would. I purchased a completely new hvac system for my elderly mother who is also sickly and now trapped in a home that is over 90 degrees because we cannot afford to fix this issue on our brand new system. It was installed December 31, 2021. The company came out in 2022 3 times to fix failures. In 2023 they've come out twice. Now, 18 months later on a $10k unit, the compresser failed and needs replacing. This until should get 15 years without issue and didn't even get 2. Ambient edge REFUSED to replace it without us shelling out $2300 on labor (only) as the unit itself is under warranty. They claim that they are not liable to fix any issues from Mojave air whom they assumed last year and actually suggested I reach out to the deceased former owners family to see if they will cover it!!!!! To put a nail in the coffin, the customer service manager REFUSED to provide me with a copy of my receipt where she claims it says I only have a 1 year labor warranty. Sounds pretty fishy right.... She also claimed they are not responsible for the work of the company they assumed which sounds rife with illegalities. Do NOT use this scamming company. Read the other reviews. They are scammers who DO NOT CARE about their customers and will rip you off to save their bottom line. read more

Ambient Edge is the absolute worst. They say they want to help you but they dont! We bought the brand new unit from Mojave Unit which Ambient Edge purchased Mojave in January 2023. We had issues from the start. We had to leave out of the country. When we got back we called Mojave which was transferred to Ambient Edge. When they came out in the summer they told us Mojave really messed things up. They were spending the summer fixing the issues from Mojave for FREE. When the technician left they sent me a quote for a $1000 to fix a pipe that they said was the issue. Brandi the "Customer Experience Manager" is absolutely horrible. I guess she would be as the owner is horrible as well. They don't take any concerns seriously. I had someone else from a different company come out and they said the piping was fine. Not to replace it because that was not the issue. We called Ambient Back they sent another technician out and what do you know they said it was another issue. I spoke to Brandi again and she said no this time they had it right. Well they didn't. The reason I replaced both indoor and outdoor unit was because the heater would blow cold air. How can I spend 9k and still have the EXACT same issue. Monday Jan 8th the technician came out and he said nothing was wrong if anything we can add a pump to help with the air filtration. I called Brandi again two days later because on the night Vegas got down to 27 degrees and we woke up to sore throats and able to see our breathe inside our bedroom. Brandi called me back saying they FINALLY found the issue. Um Im sorry how is it I've had four other technicians with different quotes and all of a sudden the issue is found. Oh and they want us to pay for just the labor but then sends a quote charging the PART! What a miss representation! Horrible company Highly do NOT recommend this company! read more

Called on a Sunday evening and they were able to schedule me for Monday. On Monday morning the technician Jay F texted and then called to say he would be arriving shortly. Upon arrival Jay put on shoe coverings without being asked before entering the house. He took the time to explain what he discovered was going on with my air-conditioning along with videos he took. Our review would be a 5 were it not for the misrepresentation [lies] on the part of the salesperson. If Ambient sends Robert to give a bid do not let him in your home. Prior to our purchase we were guaranteed a new system in total and photos were used to illustrate salient improvements. When the install crew arrived I asked about the new thermostat that was part of the package agreed upon and was told that it was not included in the specs provided by Robert. When Robert was called he denied that a thermost was agreed upon and offered to sell us a new one at an obscene price. Ambient was contacted and agreed to install as promised. Robert also showed photos of our existing set up and said that an existing 90* bend in the ducting would be eliminated and the new unit placed in a different manner, this also was a lie. I will close by saying that the tech and the install crew were on time and represented Ambient in a very professional manner. The Internet is a vehicle that can be good or bad for a business. If Ambient continues to allow Robert to lie to potential customers they do so at their own peril. Hot weather is here and we are once again grumbling Ambient Edge for 2 bedrooms that are hot. Prior to purchase of a new Lennox a/c & Heating unit we talked to the salesman about how the two bedrooms furthest from the a/c unit are hot during summer months. He assured us this new unit would take care of that problem. Needless to say that did not happen. When we called the first summer after the install we were told they could come out and do a very expensive assessment of the duct work that we would have to pay for. Nope, They won't get another dime from us. Also when installed they did something wrong and water leaked into the master bedroom due to the drainage pan in the attic. This took several visits for them to fix. They had to pull up carpet, dry everything and repaint. My partner and I do not recommend this company for a/c and heating. read more

I am going out of my way to write a review for this company (rare)...I have scheduled 5 appointments with this company for a simple A/C tuneup. All 5 times I've sat around until the end of the day just for them to tell me "Hi our tech got stuck on a long job can we reschedule you" today I did receive a call from a tech at 9 am when I requested the afternoon appointment. I guess these jokers just think people sit around all day every day and we're at their convenience. PLEASE READ IN FULL. I contacted Ambient Edge to get my commercial freezer at my business looked at. The technicians arrived and I even showed my phone to my business partner and the time was 1:15pm. I left the store after about 30 minutes and came back but didn't go back into the physical store and waited in my car. I watched the technicians drag their feet and walk outside to their vans. They were out there for 8 minutes and already spent over an hour trying to fix my freezer. I decided to walk up to their vans to find out how much longer since we closed at 3pm. As I approach, I see one of the techs just holding a cigarette! They are charging $105 for labor and here they are having smoke breaks on my dime. They immediately come back in to put my freezer back together because they didn't have the parts to fix it. They finally approached me at 2:45pm to tell me they were done. The tech, Christopher Johnson, tells me it's $345 as the total. I asked how exactly he came to that price and told me he was there over 2 Hours. Which clearly was not the case. He started backtracking when I told him the breakdown was $79 for the truck fee and $105/hour for labor. As he was there for 1.5 hours, I deducted 15 minutes for their smoke breaks. Total came out to be $210.25. So they essentially tried to scam an additional $200 without fixing the problem. I called to speak to someone about the poor service received and it's been 10 days without a callback (Even though the receptionist Emmy assured that I would receive a call). To add to that, one of their sales people had the audacity to send me an invoice for $4,000 to fix the freezer. Hello?? A brand new unit costs $2,000 from any supplier. read more
