Clare and BJ Ambrose provided an absolutely wonderful experience from beginning to end. Our basement unexpectedly flooded and after we discovered it (a day later), we called Ambrose Carpets. Clare provided us "spot on" steps to potentially mitigate the issue in an attempt to save the carpet. After it was realized the basement carpet needed to be replaced, both Clare and BJ paid a visit to our house and provided us with outstanding advice, suggestions and countless options for new carpet. After providing some much needed color scheme, design and carpet quality advice, Clare special ordered larger samples of carpet and had them delivered to our house within two days. BJ and his team took precise measurements (not to overcharge for wasted carpet), even though our basement was not a standard configuration for carpet lengths. Once ordered, the carpet arrived within 4 days and was installed the very next day. The installers were very polite, professional, did fantastic work and were in and out in a half day. Once the install was complete, both BJ and Clare came back to ensure our complete satisfaction and happiness and even provided us with carpet care advice and a bottle of spot care. I cant say enough of the Ambrose customer service and attention we were given and I highly recommend them for any Carpet project. I couldn't be happier with the carpet installation Ambrose did for my house. Yelp states that they serve "Littleton and the surrounding area" - I live in NW Denver and they were completely responsive to doing an installation in my house. The process was quick and painless: I talked to them on the phone, they said if I took basic measurements of my basement that would be fastest, otherwise they would gladly come out and do the measuring. I took measurements and did rough sketches of the layout, then visited their showroom in Highlands Ranch. Clare showed me a number of color and style carpet choices, in various price ranges. She suggested that I test a handful of choices, and then had carpet samples sent to my house from the manufacturer. BJ contacted me to clarify a few layout details on my stairwell and basement, I selected a carpet style and color (by Shaw - excellent carpet), and they were able to schedule an install just a week out! Joaquin and crew showed up on time and did a flawless install. It was all MUCH easier and less stressful than I feared. If anyone is wondering if buying carpet from a big-box home store would be cheaper - it won't be. Ambrose's pricing is very competitive with big orange-lettered home improvement stores, their installers are fast and meticulous, and the whole process is much easier and the result higher-quality. I have used Ambrose Carpets to clean my carpets for a few years and finally it was time to replace my 13 year old carpet. Since I had such a great experience with them cleaning my carpet I wanted to give them a chance to replace it. Clare is so great to work with and BJ came to my office with several samples that he let me take home to show the family. They were both very knowledgeable about everything and explained about warranties, stain blocker, material, length and color. Once I finally made my decision the scheduling and install went very quickly. They were at my home at the exact time they said they would be and install was super fast. The moved all my furniture for me and put it back exactly the way it was and were very careful. They were also very careful with my baseboards and had no scratches whatsoever. I could tell the installers took pride in doing an excellent job! They did a great job cleaning up and walked the house with me to show me where they had carefully placed the seams out of the high traffic areas. Ambrose Carpets are the only people I use for all of my carpet needs. I found them years ago through a recommendation for carpet cleaning from a neighbor. I had my carpets professionally cleaned many times before because I have kids and a dog but was never completely satisfied. When Ambrose cleaned, I could not believe how good my carpets looked (like new) and how they could get stains out that no other carpet cleaner got out. Not only did they do a good job but the guys who cleaned were very nice and extremely professional. I have now had the opportunity to work with Ambrose Carpets twice in the past few months. The first time was for a new carpet install at my mother's house following flooding that occurred in her basement. Not only were they responsive in an emergency situation, they went WAY above and beyond in the customer service area. Selecting the new carpet was a joy for my mother! They also cleaned the upstairs carpet to help out my mom when this was not even in their scope of work. Clare and BJ truly care about their clients! I personally have a rental townhome where tenants left the place a disaster following vacating the unit. Needing new carpet, Clare and BJ visited me the day I called them and had a crew ready to install within one day! This was perfect as I needed to find new tenants ASAP. Entry level service at VIP price. Tore up my baseboards and transitions, and when I asked to have the transition replaced, I was told to go to Home Depot and do it myself. I worked in the hardwood floor install/refinish industry for years, and I know this is not top quality service. May as well pay half the price at Empire and get the same result.
