I haven't been to this location in years, but when I used to live in the area, we were there quite often! They've made some changes, adding a bar and self-serve kiosks, but overall, it's just like I remember. The service was great, and the theater was comfortable and relaxing. The chairs all worked and were in great shape. I definitely recommend this location!

We went to see Pride and Prejudice Anniversary showing! Amazing hope to see more classics on the bring screen brought back.

Date night to see Pride and Prejudice Anniversary showing. Hope they play more classics. I like that you can choose your seats when you book online. The seats are big comfy chairs that recline fully. Great experience.

Purchased tickets online (which is pretty easy) and enjoyed the movie, but... Dear AMC, please do a better job of cleaning this facility to have people return. Everything from the food staging area, to the theater seats to the bathrooms all need to be kept up. Not sure if it's staffing or lack of commitment but its hard to enjoy an experience when things around you aren't kept clean. In addition, I know it's a movie theater and the prices are gonna be high, but coming out the pocket $20 for some stale popcorn and a drink is not gonna cut it.

Thank god for AMC! We are avid A-List members and I like that we have the chance to visit locations in other states (especially given that CA charges a lot more than other states) and we were pleasantly surprised by this location. We originally went to their counterpart in Biltmore which I positively will not be returning to due to the fact that there is nothing self-serve there and your refills are basically nonexistent. Here, however, you have self-serve kiosks and fast service. And boy, were they busy! The recliners are clean. I can't recall if they were heated but I don't think they were. The audio and picture was great. We saw the new Alien movie here and overall had a great experience. It's in a huge plaza with ample parking and dining. Highly recommend. (28/100--2024)

Looks clean? WRONG - Wait until you get inside This place is filthy

Updated 7-7-25 3rd Review in 6 Months. Again a 1 star ranking because that's the worst rating possible. A DIRTY THEATRE makes it really hard to relax and enjoy the movie. Again, 1 out of 2 seats DID NOT RECLINE. Can't wait until I'm out of AMC gift cards so I can switch to a new theatre chain.

I did a double header and saw 2 movies- Bonhoeffer and Wicked. I treated myself to some Concessions and had the pleasure of being served by a kind person named Landon. Thank you Landon. I gave it 2 stars because of the smell in the theatre rooms. While having a mask helped, the smell was still there. I originally thought it was isolated to my first movie, but it wasn't. The carpets might need a refresh.

I was here yesterday with my son and my mother and we went to see Lilo & Stitch and this theater was very busy per expected so we had done a pre order to be ready when we get there and all we need to do is go up to the stand and grab our order we had the time scheduled at 8:30PM for the pick up and the movie started at 8:30PM but with the previews we have about 15 minutes to spare so no big deal. When we got up to the stand our order was not there and so we waited for about 5-7 minutes or so and nobody greeted or acknowledged us or anything so then I had to get a workers attention and they told me to hold on which is okay I see they are busy, but then that worker never came back to help after a few minutes passing more and now getting closer for the previews to end and the movie to start.. so I then had to grab attention of another worker but this time he helped right away! So thank you so much to him and I do not know his name sadly but I thank him! So we got all our stuff now and here comes the drinks, one side of the machine has no ice and their icee machine was not working. So then we had to go too the other side and it was filled with ice from others over flowing or I'm not sure exactly what had happened but there was so much ice I had to remove a good chunk for my cup to fit to get a drink. It was just a very different experience I have encountered at a movie theater, and I have been to big movie showings and such before and it was not like this.. I felt like I kept getting hit with many blocks on this experience. However all in all spite of everything, I still managed to make the showing right in the nick of time as it was about to start so did not miss it! So plus side on that woot woot! We got the 3D showing so just as a heads up sorry if graphics look a bit odd! The theater itself inside was nice and comfy loved the seats! It was also chilly in here, we all brought a Blanket. Would have given 5 stars if pre-order was ready, the drink machines worked properly, had ice in them, also if it was cleaned and organized with no over flow of ice on the other machine..

When the theater first opened, I remember being warmly greeted by the staff, and I also like that you can purchase tickets online in advance. Being able to purchase tickets online in advance makes things a lot easier, as you can avoid waiting until the last minute and missing out on the best seats in the theater. One thing I really like about the theater is that their food is great. While it is a bit pricey, I really enjoy their food and their popcorn. Some of my favorite popcorn flavors are parmesan and herb, as well as white cheddar. I also like the theater's atmosphere, as it is nice and cool inside, which is perfect when you are looking to escape the intense summer heat. If anyone in Tempe is looking for a great movie theater with great popcorn, I highly recommend Tempe Majestic 7.

I currently have a love/hate relationship with social media, but I'm so glad I came across a post showcasing this glorious theater located in Tempe! I was going to try it out by myself but the Crazy Cat Lady (if you follow me on the gram, you know who that is, lol) decided to come out from the boonies on a whim, so we went. We saw "Weapons" and it had us hooked to the end! No, the seats don't recline (they do lean back a little) or have swingy table tops for your snackies, but they have cup holders and they're not cloth seats, so for $3.50 (and $2.95 every Thursday) you really can't complain! The theater was clean and the nostalgic decor make for a very enJOYable experience. There's also an arcade in the front lobby to the left once you enter. My only little gripe is that the restrooms are on opposite ends, but that's a very minor setback. The concession stand has all the basics: popcorn, nachos, hot dogs, pretzels, candy and drinks. We got the combo deal for $11.95, which includes a medium drink, medium popcorn AND a hot dog (or pretzel). We ordered an additional small drink and the total came out to $15 and some change. I don't know about you, but I know a good deal when I see one and this here is pretty epic in today's economy! Of course the movies shown here are a few months old, but I love that because that means it's not crowded at all. I can't stand a packed theater. This would be a great place for a birthday party, team-building or just a simple no frills kinda date! There's a bunch of pic opps in here, too. Have yourself a blast and don't forget to take a pic with Chewie, like me! Lol!

Fast forward 30+ years and you can imagine my excitement to pay $3.50 for a movie ticket! With cheap seat theaters you make the assumption there's going to be holes in the screens, broken seats, shotty sound and sticky floors however, pollack had none of the above. I caught two flicks today and both theaters were perfectly acceptable. In today's economy any night out comes with the expectation of the price tag going into three digit territory quickly. Pollack takes you back in time both in value and entertainment. You can even stick around and play street fighter 2 in the lobby/arcade. Call me "The Terminator" because "I'll be back"!

You enter through the different doors and then get your ticket scanned. For screenings where you can get the commemorative film strip, they hand them out AFTER the screening, while supplies last. I went to the first screening of the day and will continue doing that to guarantee I get the film strips :) I got there relatively early so I had plenty of time to order concessions, they have the exact same menu as the standard Harkins. After getting my mandatory cinnamon pretzel and cherry coke (my unbeatable movie theater snack duo), I made my way to the theater. Screen is gigantic! So cool that we have one in the valley. I got my seat at the middle of the very top row, which I did enjoy because the seats were separated in batches of 4-5, so I didn't have to walk past 10+ people to get to my seat. This is also the row where they have a couple spaces for wheelchair accessible seating. One thing I didn't expect was the rows to be so close to each other, so even though I was at the top row, there were some taller people in the lower rows that would block your view of the bottom of the screen if they were directly in front of your seat. I find that unfortunate, since the point of going to the IMAX is being able to see everything presented on the screen. Still need to figure out which seats are technically the best here. Audio and lighting was intense, not sure if that's for every movie or just The Odyssey but I felt like I was on the journey with them. I already got my tickets to go see Dune 3 in December :) very excited!

One thing I really liked is that the IMAX theater is separate from the regular theaters and has its own dedicated area, including concession stands and bathrooms. It makes the experience feel a little more premium and less crowded. Concessions are priced exactly how you'd expect at a movie theater, but the food was actually pretty solid. We ordered the chicken tenders combo along with popcorn and a drink. If you order a combo meal, you place the order at the counter and then wait in a separate pickup area where they bring the food out to you. The tenders came out piping hot and the fries were crispy. They also have extra butter dispensers if you want more, which I always do. The IMAX screen is HUGE and the sound system was excellent. Honestly, there really doesn't seem to be a bad seat in the house. We sat in G21/G22, which looked close to center on the seating chart, and the view was fantastic. Nice bonus that there's also an elevator available for guests who need accessible access to the upper seating areas. The only reason this isn't a 5-star review is the seating. The seats were standard theater seats that rocked slightly. They were comfortable enough, but reclining seats with tray tables would have made the experience much better, especially since any food you order basically has to be eaten from your lap. One small touch that stood out: before the movie started, a staff member made a live announcement reminding everyone to silence and put away their phones. Most theaters just play a prerecorded message now, so that felt surprisingly personal and appreciated. Overall, a really enjoyable IMAX experience and definitely worth checking out for big blockbuster movies.

Wednesdays they have a $5 menu for popcorn, pretzels and more. This is one of few places I can eat popcorn without any digestion issues...not something I can say at the larger rival theaters! The theaters are clean and spacious. While the chairs don't have automated controls to recline, they are large, comfortable and spaced apart so you're not rubbing elbows with the stranger next you. They have a lot of quirky and nostalgic advertisements and videos to watch before the movie starts. You may enjoy these more than your feature film! A few drawbacks are 1) the theaters are smaller than most...so if you're looking to watch a hot new release it may be hard to find seats during prime time. 2) Given the smaller theater, the screen is also on the smaller size. 3) As they deliver food during the movies, you may have workers walking by you often depending your seat choice. Their system isn't foolproof as I had them deliver me food for other people and watch my food go to other people. Most recently, I was here for a screening of Tony hosted by A24. It was a pretty straightforward process of registering online then showing up relatively early because the seating was first come, first served. Screening started at 7pm so I showed up at 6pm and there was already a good amount of people in line but I was hopeful. What they didn't make super clear was that the line was only for General Admission, and there was already an unknown number of people in the theater that got in first due to some kind of Priority Access. Not sure how they got that. All us common folk waited in line - which moved very slowly, until around 7:55pm. Then, one of the managers told us 5 minutes before the screening that the seating was full. I feel like there was a chance to tell us a bit earlier, since there were still about 50 of us waiting in line. I was about 15 people away from getting in, but they could have told the people at the very back of the line that it was unlikely they would get in so that they wouldn't waste their time waiting. Not a super big deal - it was a free screening - but the manager showed us a QR code to scan and fill out a google form to get priority access to a screening the following week. Maybe the priority people that day were rejects of a previous day... very enlightening. What she didn't specify is that the screening was at a Harkins location in Scottsdale - and that was only clear after filling out the form and getting an email about it days later. Don't know why they were gatekeeping information; I would have preferred to know more details upfront. I ended up getting a ticket to a different movie that also started at 7pm, so at least my theater outing wasn't wasted. Staff at the concessions is quick- it's just the customers that are sometimes so slow in deciding what they want to order. Appreciate that this harkins has the recliner seats. Overall, I just want the organization of the screenings to be better.
