No food or drinks, half the sodas don't work, we had to settle on nachos, they don't have nachos, hot dogs with soggy buns is the only thing, speakers inside theater are so loud it's almost dangerous, like no one is working the sound correctly. Called three times today to try and figure out the food situation before we left, no answer. Like 7 seats in the theater (including the ones we bought) broken and covered in trash bags. I get there's a "transition period" but this is just so bad, and it shouldnt be open. We miss Cinetopia where things ran smoothly and customer experience was always the focus because this is a joke. read more

Can't do zero stars so this is already giving this place too much credit. Came here because I remember how great cinetopia was, wow....things have changed. They took all the footrests off the chairs, but they aggressively FALL back when you sit down, leaving your feet to dangle. Most of the arm rests are broken, there's food and garbage everywhere. The staff openly stated they know it looks horrible (employees were great and friendly, and clearly embarrassed). Anyway, there's a 1000% chance your living room is nicer- so just wait til you can stream it. Which is probably why this place is a dying relic anyway. read more

Since AMC purchased Cinetopia these movies theaters have a haphazard, Ill managed, inefficient style. Today my husband and I walked out of this movie theater due to the lack of organization and dirty environment. Miss all the quality Cinetopia offered. read more

I HATE to give bad reviews. I really do. But WOW. This place is TERRIBLE! Went to go see a movie and it never started. We waited 40min past the start time. Finally they had a staff member come tell the audience that the manager will be working on it. Didn't get to see the movie. Went home and watched Netflix. Cinetopia was SOOOO much better. Gonna stick to the Regal Theaters. Even though I don't like them much. At least they can start a movie.... Wahh Wahh. read more

AMC has let this theater go wayyy downhill since they bought it from Cinetopia during Covid. Theater has sticky armrests, the paint is peeling off all painted surfaces and we had ANTS crawling on us! Ew ew ew! Who knows how long it's been since these theaters were REALLY cleaned. I would think that would be a priority in a pandemic world. The bathrooms were disgusting, black rings in the toilets, sinks and floors so gross. All surfaces clearly hadn't been cleaned in a very long time. Will not be back to this theater. Very sad because Cinetopia was our favorite. AMC, not at all. read more

I'm only giving this theater 1 star because there isn't a 0 star option. The website blacked out empty seats so you can only reserve a crappy one. They also have a Frozen 2 collectors cup advertised on a video screen in the snack bar, but they sold out the first week, way to disappoint children! This theater is much nicer than the AMC Dine-In Progress Ridge and cheaper, too. It does not have better projection and sound than the AMC Vancouver Mall, however. $5.00 Discount Tuesdays are a nice perk. The bathroom areas and concession areas are clean and well attended to. This might be the nicest of the three Cinetopias that AMC took over. I'll be back. read more

Went to this theater the other night. The staff wasn't respectful and they were talking about how cinetopia is better than what amc is. An I was basically pushed to purchase my tickets an be on my way instead of being asked if I wanted to get refreshments. This is sad because I really liked this location before but the people and the cleanness of the location I was not impressed with. I will be sticking to Regal theaters. read more

I didn't think the theater was near as bad as the reviews. It was clean when we were there. The theater we saw a movie in wasn't very big and it was freezing cold but other than that our experience was good and the seats are not the best ever but they are comfortable. read more

Visited for the first time in 12 months, when it was Cinetopia. Found the facility neat and clean. The bathrooms and the theaters could do with a make over though. The staff were very friendly and helpful although hated paying $15 for a samll popcorn and medium drink. Enjoyed the movie and sound and projection. I will be back ! read more

Terrible. Won't be back. Poorly staffed and inefficient service. Movie was so loud, us and another person ( there were 5 of us in theatre) had to ask to have trailers turned down as they were so excessively loud it was painful. They turned down tiny bit but volume went back to whatever ridiculously unhealthy level they had it set at when movie started so we had to ask again. I sat in lobby until my husband asked again about turning it down. I'm surprised there isn't an infomercial about a lawsuit against them for unhealthy levels. No wonder nobody was there. ‍ read more

Horrible horrible theater. It used to be my favorite but not any more! First of all the theater was unbearably cold! AC running in November! The seats are the loungers but they've taken out the foot rests so you sit in these bouncy chairs that lean too far back and no ottoman so you have to cross your legs and you're up on your toes! Spoke w manager who blamed the loss of the ottomans on the fire marshall? Really? I would have gone over his head. Alllllll the theaters w these lounge chairs have the ottomans...or get new chairs! The chairs are meant to have an ottoman. The chairs were also broken and worn. I wont go back to this theater. read more

Waaaay overpriced. Crappy beer is over $10 a plastic cup. The card machine at the bar wasn't working so we couldn't pay. They almost made us miss our movie because they couldn't figure it out. They eventually hesitantly let us go to our movie but said they would come pull us out when they figured out the machine. What?? Seats are broken and torn. Bathrooms are very dirty and out of almost everything (toilet paper, paper towels, etc). Horrible service all around. Theater is in sad disrepair. The restaurant is never coming back, they told us. I had a few free tickets given to me as a gift that I was looking forward to using. We went to the Mill Plain location because I like not having to enter the mall to see a movie. We had a few minutes before the movie started so we decided to grab a couple beers to take with us into the theatre. After pouring an IPA and a Blue Moon, the bartender let us know that the liquor license they have doesn't allow for them to pour larger than 12oz drinks...which were $10.07 a piece! After getting over that shock and deciding to fork up the cash for them anyway, we found our seats in the back row of the theatre. I set my beer down in the cup holder and had a seat...which leaned back so far that you couldn't see the bottom of the screen because of the low partition/wall a few feet in front of us. So, I attempt to push myself forward back into a regular seated position using the armrest I had placed my beer in. The whole thing flung backwards and my beer flew with it, all over not only myself but in front of me AND behind me on the ground. I let them know what had happened and asked if they had many complaints about the armrests and the associate working said they had; as well as pointed out how she typically tells people not to buy seats in the back because you can't see the bottom of the screen! Luckily, they replaced my $10 beer and we found somewhere else to sit, but all the seats are rickety, loose, and have holes in them. And I certainly didn't trust putting anything in the movable armrest at that point. It was an awful, disappointing experience and we won't be going back. read more

Worst experience I've ever had at a movie theater, especially when I remember when Cinetopia was here and they gave a crap about customer service. The seats are broken and only allow you to recline (which wouldn't be so bad if they had ottomans, as advertised) or you can sit in a very upright position; not comfortable at all. We paid $10 PER BEER and it they came in plastic cups at the bar. Their card reader wasn't working and we didn't have cash. Their solution was to suggest that as soon as they got their card reader working they would COME INTO OUR THEATER AND GET US. Are you kidding?? I told them that we would come pay for it after our movie was over and they begrudgingly agreed. The bathrooms appear to have mold growing in the tile grout and are in general disrepair. AMC has cheapened their brand by buying this place and doing NOTHING to improve or even maintain it. Poor form, AMC. read more

Wow. I don't know where to even start. During this pandemic I wanted to watch tenet so I drove 40 minutes away to this theatre in Vancouver. As I entered the theatre there was no given information about which theatre I was supposed to enter, no one had scanned my ticket. And as I showed my ticket to concessions all they did was smile and wave. Looking for tenet I decided to go into the theatre that displayed the correct time and showing of the film. As I sat there watching the film, 15 minutes in, everything was great. Until I was pulled out of the theatre as it was apparently a private showing. At most there was 6 others watching the film with me. No one had issues or even told me that it was a private showing. So I obliged to who I assume is the manager who then directed me to a much worse theatre which said that it started at 7, however at 7:35 when I entered the film hadn't even started yet, they were playing trailers. After watching the trailers and waiting for tenet to start yet again the screen stopped and it didn't work for 20 minutes. I asked around and apparently this was the second time this had happened. What an indescribably poor experience. Easily the worst theatre I've ever been to in my life time. read more
