Sodas and popcorn are the usual ridiculous price but they give you a refill on large. The seats and cinema is a little bit outdated but at least there is no carpet on the floor. Went to the theater on 162nd for b day movie with family and family friend. There were only 3 people in the theater. It was disgusting. It hadnt been cleaned between viewings. Left over popcorn and drink containers on the floor. Staff waited until movie show time to to come in and clean. Unacceptable. read more

Man this cinema is sh*t and there aren't any good movie theaters in the Portland area either. We are used to reclined seating coming from East Seattle and Pasadena we were acostomed to places like iPic or even Regal, huge difference is their chairs ACTUALLY recline, not this crap they are feeding you here. At this cinema you have ONE "reclining seating" theater option in the Adobe Atmos theater but to say they recline is bizarre. These seats have short leg parts that will come up but if they recline it's a maximum of an inch or two, worst than airplane reclining room and god forbid your somewhere in the 5"7 rage because they have a HUGE padded headrest that will push your neck forward for the entire movie. Most uncomfortable movie experience and you better hope you come at a time their bathrooms are clean. No idea why a good movie place like IPIC is taking advantage of the opportunity seeing as how Vancouver is growing at such a rate. read more

So so...... Seats small and uncomfortable. Concession prices high but if you buy a medium soda everything else is discounted. One person at concession, took numerous times for her to comprehend the order and she still had to be coached. Even with discount our tab was $40 plus tickets on top of that. read more

The whole reason I went to THIS theater is was it was a second run, coming in at an affordable $4 a ticket. I never minded to wait a little later to watch movies on the big screen. The prices have now more than doubled with no updating. Just another theater with tickets $10ish a pop. Well, I guess I'll just utilize my streaming services more. And if there is something I have to watch in theater I'll just go to the location that's closer to my house and updated. read more

Disregard prior reviews. Those are from when it was a second run house and tickets were 3 or 4 bucks a seat. You put up with the little screens and crappy seats for 3 or 4 bucks. The Wife and I love the place for a multitude of reasons, all of them being cheap ticket prices of $3 to $3.50 a person, but for different reasons. 1. We have a kid who at this writing is almost 10 and he loves a movie but do you really think he is going to differentiate between stadium seating and the quality of the sound system? 2. We have a kid, and because of that do you think we can always afford Cinetopia admission prices for date night? I'll put that same $15 we save on admission and go to a nicer restaurant. 3. We have a kid (see a theme here?) and if he wants to bring a friend along to see a movie with him because we weren't attentive enough to his needs to have a brother or sister for his amusement then it won't be a deal breaker. Others have said it and I want to pass-over it but I'm Jewish (see what I did there?) and this really sticks in my wallet, but the snack bar charges full bore awesome theater seating and sound prices for a 1970s theater experience. I know the popcorn doesn't care what theater it is in but I have done a little research and soul searching and the answer is pretty simple and understandable, even for a Jew. Movie theaters, even higher end ones, don't make a lot of money off movie tickets and if you think about it, the upkeep on running a 16 theater multiplex or a 10 theater cheap-i-plex is up there. Pimply faced kids need to be paid to shovel popcorn into tubs, theaters need cleaning and vacuuming, of course you want a clean bathroom, right? Thank pimply faced theater worker. Utilities are not free, I am sure there is insurance liability costs and all other manners of overhead. Several studies from the Wall Street Journal to Stanford University and others claim that the higher profits generated from the snack bar actually do keep movie tickets lower. So maybe you don't buy the popcorn and drinks every time or you sneak in candy from the Dollar Tree, but maybe once in a while you can and feel good for helping keep that ticket price down for people who can't afford a top end theater. That's how I sleep at night after shelling out $15 for popcorn and drinks. Besides, the popcorn is better than anything I have had from my microwave. Handicapped access is a solid B. There are ramps up from parking lot but they are at far ends of the property and the parking lot itself is kind of rough. There is a nice ramp up to the box office though and seating is available to park your knee scooter or walker or park a wheelchair. read more

I have to say I really didn't want to give this even 2 stars, but 1 star should be reserved for something really awful. This was the junkiest regular Regal Theater years ago before they turned it into a $3 theater, which is, I'm sure, why they turned it in to a $3 theater. It was and is kind of dirty and needs to be upgraded. I can see why people that live in Vancouver would be thrilled to have a $3 theater period, but this place is really not great and what's the point of going to a $3 theater when you will spend over $10 more just to get the minimal popcorn and soda? Most $3-$4 theaters offer a full range of food at reasonable prices and many offer beer and wine. This place is seriously lacking and the the entire time I was sitting there, I just wanted to click my heals like Dorothy and go back to the Laurelhurst Theater in Portland where things are as they should be. Also, this looks like it tends to be teenage hangout with all the shinanigans that go along with that. I won't be back. read more

Three dollars for a movie? Yes please. Sure, the movies aren't the newest.....but this theater is great for those times when you let a movie pass you by, but really wanted to see it in theaters. Who knew this second-run Regal was in Vancouver? Not this Oregonian! I was looking at a a couple of older movies for a quiet weekend and they were all coming up at this theater. I finally put it together that they must be a reduced ticket price show. I drove over to the theater, which looks just look my local Regal. There was no line on a Sunday afternoon and tickets were only $3.75. ($3.25 during the week). The snack area was clean with lots of employees to help, although there weren't any lines their either. I got popcorn. Lots of butter (yay!). Prices are normal prices. My husband and I grabbed our seats in the clean theater and had a good show. As others have mentioned, the sound could be better and they could stand to remodel but overall a good quality, positive experience for a fair price. Lots of options of movies to see, too! I give it a solid 3.5-4 stars. read more

Just watched Star Wars at this theater. This theater shows movies that are at the end of their big screen shelf life. The tickets are around $3.50 a ticket. Compared to other theaters, this is dirt cheap. The building itself is a little haggard, but the screens and seats are fine. If you don't mind waiting a little longer to see a movie in a theater, this is a great option to save some money while still getting a quality viewing. read more

Used to be a great place to catch a movie on the cheap. We're adults. We could wait for a flick to do its run at the flashy, more expensive places and then land here. We could get tickets and concessions for less than the cost of tickets at those other theaters, and the whole reason we went almost weekly was because it was affordable. Not anymore. This was a great place to go. As a family, we would drive up from east Portland to see a reasonably-priced movie, with some money left over for some candy. We could watch a recent movie for about $20. Raising their prices to almost $10 now means family movie night is $35 or so. If we wanted to pay that, we would watch a first-run movie at any of the dozen or more theaters that are much closer to home. At the new price, we won't be back. At least there is still discount Tuesday at the Eastport Plaza Century 16. read more
