My husband and I attended Tuesday senior day to save money and the cashier charged us $19.00. When asked what the senior price is she said $5.49. When asked why we didn't get the reduced amount she said we were not signed up. It certainly would have been better customer service to let us know before we paid that we had to sign up. I called 4 times no one answered so I drove to the highway 99 location to find 3 cars in the parking lot because it's mid day on a Wednesday, which I knew it was going to be slow they just didn't want to answer the phone and was being lazy, we're waiting in line, and one cashier is busy and we see another cashier just hanging out with her coworker so we stood there for about 10 mins before being helped. Uncomfortable New seats - but they have no lumbar and if you are shaped like a potato- it will work. The head rest portion either hits you in the back of the head if you're short. Or in the back of your shoulders if you're avg height. We got there early. They show you 20 mins of commercials (each repeated 3 times) and then 30 mins of previews. So the movie doesn't even start until 30 minutes after the time it is scheduled for. While they did replace the seats - they are uncomfortable and there is somehow less leg room than before (and I know my legs didn't grow!). If you can go downtown Vancouver to that theater - it's worthwhile. This was just a reminder to me why we only go to the movies every couple years because it's so uncomfortable. Love this theater. It might be old and dated but it is clean and the people working in the concession are super nice and friendly. Love, love the $5 Tuesday when tickets are $5 all day as long as you are Regal Member (membership is free and you earn points for discounts). Small popcorn is $4 (bigger ones are also discounted), Nachos $3 and Hotdog $2 but only on Tuesdays. So we always watch movies on Tuesdays :-) Never crowded and if you like watching movies, they do offer the $21/month Unlimited movies. read more

The Good: you can purchase tix early and choose your seats. It's not a very busy venue, so lots iof seating even right before a movie. The bad: the volume of the movies is SO quiet that you can hear popcorn chewing and can wrappers more than movie dialogue. This has been consistent for several movies and I have brought it up to managers. What's the point of a high quality surround sound system if you keep the volume turned down? read more

Lots of choices and truly, there is no screen like a movie screen. They have Refillable drinks .. And Refillable Popcorn I Iove the walls they are draped in deep red curtains with silver wall sconces that reminds me of lava lamps. The chairs are comfortable and there is lots of leg room. I have lots of great memories seeing movies as a child and even though I rent movies on line, I appreciate the atmosphere here. The staff is helpful and cheerful! How many places can say that!? Took family to see Avatar 2 in IMAX 3D - the sound was turned up so loud it distracted from the movie and made our experience terrible. Others around us were complaining about the volume as well. At times the sound was distorted. My whole family had headaches after the movie. When you pay a lot for a movie it shouldn't be a painful experience. Perish the thought you lose something of any sort of value here because chances are pretty good that it will not actually be turned in. In my experience management was kind, BUT the perception was that they (yes male & female) was extremely annoyed not only by my inquiry, but that he and she had to do something outside the norm of his and her usual mangerial duties. Further perish the thought that either one of them do something to try to appease the customer by offering more than just an apology (and I don't mean goods like a free movie or snack stand item, but actually an effort by at least searching!) There is not much in the way of dining near this theater so if you're hungry before or after your flick then I'd recommend going elsewhere. Nearby freeway traffic can possibly prove a distraction during quiet scenes, but hopefully if you come here then you can tune this out every time. I've been here a couple of times and have driven by this theater a couple of times and unlike other theaters I've seen in this area there more often than not always seems to be a line to purchase tickets so I'd recommend arriving at least a half an hour before your movie if you like the preview trailers. As usual the concession stand is pricy, so I'd recommend going to like say Dollar Tree and getting something to drink in a bottle as well a big box of candy... unless you're one of those types that simply must have "Movie Popcorn!" Attention Regal... I'm going to bend over so you can watch my A** then add this location to the Black List! read more

Clean. Friendly service. This is our go to for movies. We all know theater food is already costly, so go ahead and just get the XL soda and XL popcorn - you get one free refill on each. The 5 of us enjoyed the benefits of sharing a bucket of extra buttered popcorn, the refill was quick and painless midway through the movie. All in all a great time with the family! You pay an arm & leg for the movie to then pay out the other pocket for concessions you'd think you'd get good fresh popcorn..nope! No hotdogs, icee out, chicken bites are NASTY couldn't eat even 1, my butterfinger bites were old & tasted like cardboard! I did not like anything about this place. I didn't appreciate that I had to wait in a long line at the snack counter for tickets. We got here 20 minutes prior to the start of the movie but the line was so long we weren't going to get our tickets in time.We decided to buy them on line from that point so we made it in before the movie started. I guess Regal cares more about forcing an impulse buy on us by selling tickets at the snack counter and cutting out a job( ticket seller) then getting movie goers into the theater in a reasonable time frame. Also we had lots of confusion about seating as did others because you can't easily find where your seats are after your on line purchase. Never ever coming back here. read more

We walked in about 15 minutes before our movie and had to wait in the very busy concession line to buy tickets. We don't buy concessions so we had to wait 20 minutes to buy a ticket while waiting for all the people to buy their confessions. This is the dumbest process I've seen yet. We will NOT be back to here. They are so slow at getting someone a drink and pick their seats. This is why I will be saving my money and not coming to this theater again. Every Tuesday is Regal value days at this location and you can enjoy a movie for just $5 with your Regal card! 3D is just $3 more and you also have the opportunity to purchase a small popcorn for just $2 (or just $4 more for a refillable large!). Can you beat that deal for a new release movie? I think not! This Regal cinemas location doesn't have many frills (you won't find living room seating or fancy cushy reclining seats), but it is always clean and the staff is kind and I have never had a bad viewing or sound experience. There is nothing "cut rate" about this location and yet you can enjoy cut rate prices every week. Definitely worth switching up your family or date night and save some money ;). (Tip: $5 value days is also on Sunday at the Regal on C Street in Vancouver, but you won't enjoy discounted popcorn like you can on Tuesdays at this location). read more

Awesome theater! popcorn is a little meh to be honest, I have had better popcorn that i purchased from a grocery store but its not terrible. Concessions are expensive but that's how they make money. Go on Tuesday you will get cheaper tickets to make up for concessions. Now onto all the bad reviews I see about customer service. I am 26 years old. I have been going to this regal location since I was 18. YES 18. Never once have I had an issue with customer service. Read that again. NEVER ONCE. Not a single time. So all these people complaining about bad customer service are the type of people that have 1 bad experience and they lose their minds. Can it improve? sure. Is it so bad that I would never return? heeeeeell no. People just need to learn to relax and not get so upset. read more

I hate to write this but I will not be attending this theater again. Today(Saturday the Dec 9th) I went to see a 1:45pm showing, brought my friends and their small children to see Coco and was virtually ignored by the staff for over 10 minutes. There was no one out front at the ticket booth, just a sign that said buy tickets inside. When I walked in there were two guests being helped by employees but no one else in the entire foyer, it was completely empty. After one couple was helped the employee never acknowledged me or my friends, she left from behind the desk and simply went to sweeping up popcorn and tinkering with devices behind the concession stand. The other employee behind the counter looked like a manager; wore a grey suit and had what looked like short brownish-reddish hair, perhaps a bit balding, he was helping an older woman with a gift card issue. We waited behind her for over 10 minutes. Never once did he look at me and my friends, acknowledge me or speak to me. Didn't even give the courtesy of saying "I'm with a customer, I'll be right with you" or "do you need to purchase a ticket". Just 10 minutes of a customer feeling utterly invisible by its staff in an empty foyer. I've worked in retail and restaurants long enough to know how inappropriate that is. We originally arrived a little late to the film to avoid the previews and the possible frozen short film we heard was playing before Coco so when we were finally helped the manager didn't apologize for the long wait and even scoffed a bit that we were late to the film, completely dismissing that he kept us waiting in an empty foyer, thus causing us to miss the beginning of the film. I could understand if they were busy but they were not. Not a single person in line for tickets or concession except us. As a black male in a completely all white city like Vancouver I wondered if my what I experienced was simply bad management or someones racial bias being played out or both. But regardless, as a customer it seemed like I didn't matter. And that alone is why I won't be going back to Regal. read more

The night manager on Saturdays informs us the oven is not on due to closing in 30mins. We get to the movie theater ask for a personal pizza and its denied, we ask for a large hot dog also denied and then chicken nuggets the same. All items on the menu but all denied because the concession is closing soon even though my movie hasn't started. We are told we can only order popcorn, nachos or candy anything that doesn't require an oven since the manager is lazy to give good customer service. Bring your own hot dog, pizza or chicken since movies that start after 10pm don't qualify for the full concession menu. This is the second time we have issues at this theater. read more

So, this past Saturday will be the last time I come to this theatre. I see a lot of movies and come here often because It's close to my house. This past Saturday I went there to see Captain Marvel, which I'd been excited to see. The experience was downright awful. I go to the movies to escape. To immerse myself in a movie and not think about anything that's going on in my life. This Saturday I was threatened by a group of loud and obnoxious people sitting being me in the last row because I told them, at least 5 times to stop talking. The 5th time I actually stood up, turned around and told them loudly to have some respect for other people in the audience and either leave or stop talking. That's when 3 of them, jumped up and came at me. I quickly jumped over the seat in front of me to get away from them and left the theatre and went right to the front desk and complained. I specifically told the girl at the front desk that 3 people came at me like they wanted to fight me because I told them to be quiet. Threats of violence inside a movie theatre should not only get the offenders immediacy ejected, but in my opinion, the police should have been called. Did that happen? Not even close. Since I had invested almost $30 in this movie experience, I wasn't about to walk out on a movie that I had been wanting to see half way through, so I went back and sat down in the first couple of rows. Now you may be wondering why I'm complaining about this theatre, because it wasn't their fault some young punks were being rude. I'm complaining because of what the management did. They sent someone in that stood for about 5 minutes halfway up the stairs. Noticing that the theatre was quiet, (obviously) he moved to the hallway andoutnof sight. Immediately, once out of site, the punks in the back started again. This time I heard them say things directly to me like, "yeah, we see you down in the front now, wait till you get out in the parking lot". The theater employee, hearing them now came up and told them all to be quiet, then, to my surprise, left back down to the hallway again. Not 30 seconds go by when they start talking again. The theatre employe goes back a second time and tells them again, which the punks started arguing with the theatre employee about the movie being almost over, then to my surprise the theatre employee just turned around and walked out of the theatre!! For the rest of the film, these guys in the back continued to talk, yell and shout and nothing happened to them. For fear of my own safety, I left about 10 minutes before the movie was out. What kind of place are you running when your patrons don't feel safe in your theatre and even after complaining, they still do nothing about it? The first time they received a complaint, especially if someone complains of threats of violence, management should have ejected them from the theatre and probably even called the police. Not give them multiple warnings and let them stay and ruin the experience for everyone else. I'm going to shred my Regal card and make the 10 minute extra of a drive to see a movie at Cinetopia at the Vancouver Mall from now on. Thanks read more

Went to see Star Wars Rise of Skywalker yesterday and was severely disappointed with the sound quality in this theater. It seemed like we were watching a TV and using the TV speakers. No surround sound or subwoofer for the fight scenes. Only thing they did to warrant 1 star was they had some people dressed up in costumes. read more

Last night went to a movie there was only5 of us in the theater. The 3 other people left five minutes before we did and it was the last movie of the night. We forgot a wallet and when we went to pick it up the next day the $400 cash was of course gone. The employee who found it emptied it before giving it to his boss.
