Recently came here for the first time and had a great time! The process of purchasing tickets was super easy and quick to do. The theater itself was fairly clean and the employees were polite and respectful. I enjoyed the layout of the seats and that they could recline. There's a good amount of space between the seats and sections, and I think it's a nice spot to sit cuddly and close during a movie night. I will say that the seats were uncomfortable after a while so just keep that in mind if you see a long movie at this location. Can't wait to come back soon nonetheless. read more

Dear AMC Team: I went to a Christmas Eve showing of Licorice Pizza with two of my friends. The experience was the worst movie experience of my life. Here is what happened. 1. Right before the movie started- after the last preview - the fire alarm went off. We had to evacuate - this is obviously not AMC's fault - but the response by staff was awful. We left the building - no staff to guide people out, or preperation for an emergency. Once outside we just waited for about 40 minutes without any update from the staff as to what to do, expect, etc. Once allowed back into the theater we were provided a free voucher to a future movie - which is appreciated - however - the only way back in was through 1 single door so that the theater I guess could ensure everyone received a voucher. As a result, the entire theater that had been evacuated was now returning through 1 specific doorway and lobby in an extremely unorganized fashion during a pandemic. 2. Once back inside the theater the movie did not start back up. No one told us when the movie would start or what the procedure was. I had to go out and ask a staff member to start the movie. At this point - the commercials and previews that we had already seen started again. In total about 1 hour and 30 minutes extra had to be spent on the movie due to evacuation and re-watching the commercials and previews that we had already seen. 3. The theater itself was not set-up properly. What i mean by this is that the volume of the movie was so loud that it was hurting my ears. I brought a staff member into the theater who stated that the volume was way to loud for the small theater we were in. The volume, however, remained the same until I spoke with the manager - who then sent 2 people up to adjust the volume. Live music is a passion of mine - and the volume in that theater was way beyond healthy for the ears. The volume was finally turned down to an acceptable level - but this should have been taken care of or calibrated properly before people are in the theater. This is the only time in my life that I've had to actually request a movie volume be lowered - I consulted with my group to ensure it wasn't a personal issue and they all agreed with myself and your team member that the volume was way to high. 4. Our food was delivered - all of the food delivered was cold. I had a pretzel that was cold and not soft - so I told our waiter - and the response was that I could go to the cashier for a refund. Terrible customer service. I would have gladly taken a replacement of the item - as part of the movie experience at a "Dine-In" movie is the food. To tell a customer that they should just get a refund instead of making the situation correct is really horrible - especially after they have waited in the cold during a random evacuation from their movie. My friend ordered the tater tots and some kind of chicken finger dish - both came out cold - but he was hungry and decided to just roll with the punches. 5. I asked to speak with the manager after having the above experience but was told that the manager was to busy to speak with me. At this point I saw the manager helping the kitchen staff and literally cooking what I assume was backed-up orders. I understand that the fire evacuation probably threw a wrench into the kitchen operations - but to tell a customer that they should just get refunded on their food item and that they can't speak with a manager is not the right approach. 6. We watched the movie at a still pretty loud volume - the food that was actually consumed was gross. The movie itself took an extra 30 minutes at least due to the second showing of commercials and previews. The movie itself was good - no complaints there. The seat was comfortable - but for $16 the dining and every other part of this theater experience was garbage. So that's my brief review of our Christmas Eve with AMC in Levvitown. A fire evacuation with no communication from the staff. A re-admission with no real thought on how to start everything back up. Awful food, and even worst customer service. I'm a fan of the AMC chain - but this location does not live up to the AMC brand experience. I don't know if there's a solution to this problem or if this is the typical AMC Levvitown experience - but I do know that this was completely unacceptable. I loved it. At this point reclining seats is the norm and extensive menus are getting more selections erry season but for my first dine in/bring ur order to ur seat was great. The burger I order was better than any apple bees, T.G.I. Friday's, chili's burger I've had. Really good It's gonna be my go to food when I want something that I KNOW is good. Well, if you're gonna position yourself as a dine-in theater, you better be prepared for criticism regarding the food. As advertised, Ricos nacho chips are "made with stone-ground yellow corn" and are "thicker," but once you open the bag they're really tough and mealy. Folks, theater nachos are now considered basic fare in almost all cinemas but instead of the light snap you're used to, these are heavy and granular. I used to be able to eat these when AMC offered a salsa or cheese dip option, but now they only offer the cheese. And this is where it really goes wrong: the Della Terra cheese is truly inedible; I mean, god help you if you have high blood pressure because the salt content is through the roof, but moreover, it's not a good-tasting product! Actually, it pairs well with the Ricos chips, because it challenges you to make a determination--is it the chips that are bad, or is it the dip? The Ultimate nachos (one of the few options available) should come with wet wipes or a ton of napkins, especially when eating in a really dark theater. The toppings on the Ultimate Nachos were cold and it didn't take long for the chips to get soggy, so I would skip ordering them altogether. Not the best food to eat in the dark. I didn't plan to order them to begin with, but they were 1 of the only few kitchen menu items available. Recently I went to see the lion king here because it was once my favorite movie theatre. After buying the tickets a coworker informed me the theater was recently closed by the health department due to vermin infestation. It reopened this week I believe and when we arrived I noticed popcorn was ALL over the carpet floor in the HALL!!!!!!! It's one thing for popcorn to be on the theater floors but the one place it should be clean is the outside of the theater! You mean to tell me staff could not come in between screenings and sweep !!!!!!? This used to be my go to theater because it was clean and spacious but not anymore. Great location and you will always find parking here. Lots of showtimes. They did away with that ridiculous different priced tiers for seating which is good. Also good to go to a bargain show which are the first few shows of the day. Food and snacks are way overpriced, but I still like my popcorn. The bathrooms are, we're and always will be skeevy. Some seats in the theaters need attention as they are coming apart. I think that has to do with the clientele as well as the management. It would be nice if someone walked around the theater checking that people have there cells off and aren't talking, but those days are long gone. read more

I consider this location the best AMC theater I'd been to so far. We decided to come here tonight though we are all from Eastern Queens because we wanted to try it's dine-in service. We liked the theater and restaurant rolled into one idea. We were not disappointed. Had the best movie experience ever. There are two options to have your food serve while enjoying the movie and seated in the most comfortable recliner seats: 1. order in the concession stand before going to your seat and food will be deliver to your reserved seats 15-20 minutes after. This option was what we picked. 2. order at your seat via call button , they'll come to take your order and food will be deliver after 15 -20 minutes. Pick whichever way you are comfortable with. Schedule your arrival inside the theater accordingly. Be considerate with other people if you will pick option 2. Its food menu selection is good. I find it a bit pricey but understandably for I paid for its service as well. We will definitely come back to try it's wine and cocktails option. The movie house is huge, it's lobby is big, the number of seats are more than standard movie theater, the screen is wide, the sound system is excellent, the seats are comfy, the seat number signage is very visible and the lighting is sufficient. It has huge parking lot, in a good location, situated in a commercial center. It has well maintained restroom. Waiting lounges are very spacious and well designed. Staff is nice. Lastly, its movie ticket price is lesser with good quality service in comparison to other movie theater with the same amenities. Well recommended to enjoy a planned movie date. read more

This is my go to movie theater in Long Island. It comes equipped with a full bar and after ordering your food at the counter you can pay a one dollar delivery fee to have them bring it to your seat when it's ready. They also have self-serve kiosk's if you've purchased your tickets in advance. Can get pretty messy when they're busy but other than that I really can't complain it's a good theater. read more

Prior to covid I had joined the AMC A-List and would go to the movies a few times a week and never have been to a Dine-In theater. Such a huge difference from going to a regular theater because there are other options for food/drinks and alcoholic beverages. When ordering your tickets online you can also put in your order for foods or beverages to be ready when you arrive for your movie. If you can't decide prior you can order when you arrive and just take a seat in your theater and they'll have an attendant bring the food directly to your seat. Absolutely great venue. Would recommend this location to anyone who still travels to see films in the theaters. read more

If I could give 0 stars, I would have. I ordered my tickets online for a 2pm showing of Wakanda forever. Ticket scanning was quick and efficient. Let it be known, this isn't my first AMC dine experience, so we went straight to the theater and figured we could order when we reach our seats as I have normally done at other theaters. We walked past the long concession stand in the main area and thought we would be good. Firstly, this theater was extremely dark, it was so difficult to see. How would we even be able to eat. There was no menu or kiosk to order food, so I figured I would go in the app to order. Ordering food was available in the app however there was no option for my 2pm showtime, the earliest showtime to order was 10 pm. I now had to leave my seat and miss part of the movie to walk back out to the concession stand. I was told I had to order in the app in an hour advance of the movie. This was not explained in the email or any other communications. The concessions manager was apologetic but this ruined my whole movie experience. I had to order in concessions ( waiting in a 15 mins queue) and wait for it to be delivered to my seat. I only ordered a fries and drink because I just couldn't bother to eat a large meal in the dark. The seats and tables were also very sticky and I had to disinfect them and wipe down in advance. AMC this theatre needs upgrades and overall better details for the dine in service. First things first why was my theatre PITCH BLACK. I had to use my phone each time I went to the bathroom to see where i was going and to see what i was actually eating. Lets talk about the Dine -in experience. it was a utter fail. We went to see Wakanda and walked pass the concession stand to enjoy the previews and place our orders for food. after about 20 minutes on the app and seeing most items not available we decided to just go with what we had. To my surprise our showing was not coming up on the app. I to leave the beginning of the movie to get something from the concession. Whe i spoke to a manager he informed me we were to order a hour ahead of the movie. New rules since covid apparently. I would of done exactly that if it stated that on the AMC site or even on my ticket confirmation when i ordered a week ahead of the movie. Ok I get it. It's a movie theatre review. The actual theatre's are comfortable and you get to reserve your seat. The positives end there. The concession stand is the main issue . No matter how many registers are open , they all pull from the "premier" line first . So if you don't have that membership , you can be stuck waiting forever for your turn to get some popcorn . My favorite movie theater in Nassau County. Each time they make changes to this place it's gets better and better. The ticket machines to pick up online orders are very easy to use. The staff is always friendly. The chairs are SUPER COMFY. We usually only get popcorn, but what I've seen from the new food selection, it looks pretty decent. And overall it is pretty clean. We no longer live near this theater but we still make sure to come here to see the movies and will continue to do so no matter where we live. Love this place! read more

We went here for $5 dollar tuesdays and they bring your order to your seat. Even if it's popcorn? It doesn't matter. They will bring it. They have all sorts of dishes from hamburgers to ribs and nachos and if it's a date night, they have adult beverages for a well rounded night out. I brought my older children here to watch Deadpool 2 here. We normally visit the amc in fresh meadows or sound view by the water but today we decided to hop in for a dine in experience. The tickets are selected at the time of purchase so they are assigned seating. No worries of overticketing or singles seats here...everyone picks where they want to sit when they purchase their tickets. The burgers we ordered were placed in plastic take away containers, and the dressings were carefully prepared inside the container. This made it easy to separate who ordered what and more convenient to store away after finishing. They have a self serve soda station with numerous touch screen machines. They also had different flavored icee machines which was cool. Just remember to fill the soda cups before entering the movies...there is only one fueling section in the front. We had a little trouble balancing the popcorn and nachos and our food and drinks while fumbling for our mobile tickets until we realized they can deliver your order to your seats....well, it would have been great if they let us know at the time but will definitely keep in mind for next time. You can't tell from looking on the outside but it's a pretty large theater and there is a bar inside this theater...I wasn't expecting to see that!! That's a very nice touch if only there wasn't a line. I only saw one bartender and a bit of a wait so between popcorn, burgers, icee....I was already on my way to way more calories than I'm allowed. This theater is nice, clean and modern. There are also plenty of bathrooms so no lines forming right after a showing. We had a fabulous dine in experience and enjoyed watching the big screen in comfy plus sized reclining sofas....Tuesday's are $5 ticket days so what you save in tickets you can spend on movie snacks...love it!!! read more

Ugh never again. This location is NOTHING like the AMC Dine-in in Jersey. Had I known this prior to arriving I wouldn't have driven 40 mins to come here. If you're coming here for the dine-in experience, don't waste your time. Unlike the New Jersey dine-in AMC, You CANNOT order alcoholic beverages or food from the comfort of your own seat. You have to stand in line just to place your food order, then wait for them to bring it your seat. If you want an alcoholic beverage, you have to troop to the bar across from the concession stand to get your drink. But don't hold your breath for that, cause the bartender is never at the bar. We had to wait at least 8 mins for her to pop back to the bar out of the wood works. This place sucks and its so inconveniencing!! I hope they upgrade their dine-in service asap. read more

This is the last time I listen to my stepson who said going to an AMC Dine-In theater is "awesome". My wife and I at first wanted to go to Dallas BBQs then watch The Predator. But, my stepson said we should go to AMC Dine-In. It made sense when he told us that you can order the food before you sit in your chair and the staff would bring the food over. We were starving and the food came about 35-45 minutes later. I had ordered a Bacon Ranch burger and fries (which was massive and delicious by the way) for $14.49. My wife got the Big Bite Sampler for $15.79. She said the wings were rubbery and not that flavorful. The pretzel bites were bigger than the AMC Fresh Meadows where we normally go to and she could not even finish that platter. I can't say that the food was overall terrible....it was good. Plus, I would have spent more if we went to Dallas BBQs...so that's a positive. The bathrooms were clean and the staff were friendly. Here's the negative...you can't see your food while watching the movie. My wife and I had to constantly use our iphone light to see LOL. My wife always expects her food when we go out to check for....let's say....bloody chicken or steak. It was just annoying not to see what you're actually eating. Especially for the sampler...you need to know if you're grabbing the nachos, wings or pretzel bites...plus be able to see the dipping sauce LOL. Would we do this again for the DIne-In experience..nope. We would come back here to watch a movie if our Fresh Meadows spot seats are sold out. read more

This is my usual movie theater I usually go to especially for the morning shows. There very clean and they had upgraded there theater with the recliners, bar, and making it a Dine in theater. Sometimes this theater I feel can be perfect but at times they overbook the seating which happen to me. While your movie is beginning another person has the same seating as you now you have to clear the whole situation with the managers while your movie is being played... not impressive at all... sometimes the employees do not refill there soda machines so many times the soda machines are currently not working or does not have the basic drinks. AMC also sends you certain coupons which they do not honor many times since the employees had told me they are a dine in theater.. The concept of the dine in the theater is cool however you still have to wait on a line to order your food and you then go to your theater and wait for it. read more
