With the high anticipation of foot traffic for barbenheimer weekend (Oppenheimer and Barbie); There was a severe lack of preparation in regards to food. I am not upset that I had to wait 30 minutes for cinnamon and sugar pretzels, but I am disappointed in the lack on transparency and communication. If a guest is to wait for an item I believe that it would be courtesy to tell them that there is an expected wait for items before finalizing payment. If I was made aware of the wait I would have purchased another item and would not have missed 10 minutes of my movie. I try not to write reviews as a knee jerk reaction, but after my experience last night I feel like it's warranted. I used to be a huge fan of this location, and I've probably seen more movies here than any other theater. That being said, the quality has dropped so much that I don't foresee myself ever coming back. This honestly pains me to say, since I have so many memories at this theater. Everything here is filthy, do they clean anything anymore? The bathrooms were a wreck. Our seats were atrocious (we were in auditorium 4) and we felt disgusting having to sit in them. The auditorium had clearly not been cleaned at all and there was a ton of trash everywhere. I was so upset I went to go complain at the front, something I almost never do. Surprise, surprise - there's no customer service counter anymore. I mean what?? It said to speak to the person manning the box office, which was packed and I couldn't get anywhere near. I gave up, since I realized complaining wouldn't clean my seat in time for the showing I had tickets to. These seats were so filthy it seemed like a biohazard. All I wanted was a nice date night with my husband, and for $50 (30 for tickets and 20 for drinks) I expect the theater to be clean if nothing else. We showered immediately after we got home, that's how dirty this theater made us feel and swear I'm not being melodramatic. This place has gone downhill as of late. Last time I came here it was to see 3D movie and they had no glasses. They gave me kiddie glasses. I'm 48 Another time they had no butter for the popcorn. Like no one could just go buy sticks of butter and have a dispenser for it or something. Today I went here and they have just one popcorn machine but had a fire in it and apparently can't use the old area they used to have in the back. I mean, they had just about no concessions that didn't come in a bag. Literally had the worst and traumatizing experience at this movie theater today that it made me hate movie theaters and never want to go back to one ever again!!!! So disgusting both the theater cleanliness and how they treat and manage their guests of the theater. This theatre used to be fantastic but today, not so much! They do have reserved seats but the seating is close, leg room is minimal. Other theaters have the reclining leather seats. These were fabric and squeezed together. The theatre was so hot! We all stripped down as far as we could go to cool down. Will definitely skip this theatre in the future. read more

IMAX volume was so loud that the dialogue was indiscernible. The music drowned out the words when the sound effects stopped. Hearing loss is irreversible. Never again will I go into an IMAX feature. It should not be permitted to be this loud, I'm surprised there is not some kind of protection policy. read more

A nice AMC that's rather low key despite its popular location and serving as a hub for heavy mall traffic. This was only my first time here, but every other AMC discount Tuesday I have been to has been PACKED. The AMC Neshaminy was rather quiet on the theater chain's biggest night of the week. It's a big theater and it uplifts nostalgic movie going vibes--and that's just what I like. I saw a smaller released film, so the auditorium itself wasn't big and the screen wasn't either. Seats were OK but had a nice slight recline to them. Overall I enjoyed my experience here and could just feel the energy on a packed night, despite the low amount of attendees this evening. Saw Bladerunner II at the IMAX. Great sound, great seats. Movie was an update of the film noir classic BRI. Could easily have been made into a TV series, before this movie. 3 hrs long but provocative themes and decent special effects. Could not actually figure out who all the real humans were guess I will have to re read the book. Worth a look. Mark read more

If they aren't going to spend the money to replace the seats in all the theaters they should at least have them cleaned. I don't see how AMC can think these seats are acceptable. It's evident that going to the movies is slowly becoming a thing of the past. AMC was not at all crowded on a Saturday night. They have one concession stand open and it seems like their second concession at the back of the theater is permanently closed. It's pretty inconvenient if your movie is at the back and you have to walk to the front for snacks and drinks. The theater itself is outdated. Seats are worn out and uncomfortable, especially compared to the recliner seats at other theaters. Of course, their food and beverage prices are outrageous; $20 for popcorn and a soda. Good thing we brought our own stuff. They have a bar in theater which, to us, is completely ludicrous. I can't imagine needing a drink at the movies but, then again, we don't drink at all so, maybe booze at the movies is a thing now. AMC reminds me why I'd rather watch movies at home. read more

Tickets were cheap and there were like 20 people in our theater. Only two good things. Could hear movie next door when our movie got quiet. Never experienced that before. Place was not busy at all and it was still a mess. Straw wrappers and lids all over by the soda fountains before and after our movie. While employees in the concession area were just hanging out. Actually saw an employee look at and step over a piece of trash laying in the middle of the floor. Next movie I'll go to oxford valley. read more

Theater is falling apart. Today they had no soda. You could only get lemonade or hi c. Also, the theater we were in had no air conditioning. When I complained, the said oh, yeah it's broken. The choices were money Bach or wait an hour and a half for the next show. Only bad seats were available so we suffered. Finally they forgot to shut off the house lights. This is a nice movie theater... It's clean. Nice staff. If you get hear for the 10am movies it's $5.99 then any movie after the tickets sky rocket. The popcorn with the butter is by far the best and always have to get. The popcorn makes the movie more enjoyable to watch, look to pay alot for any of the food, even the candy. It's kinda like going to a baseball or hockey game they rack up the prices because they know people will pay it. Make sure to sign up for the AMC theater rewards. It's great to have if you go to the movies alot. Sometimes it's better to order tickets offline because sometimes some of the movies are sold out. We've never seen such a collection under one roof of people who take pride in being disruptive. The full treatment! Using cell phones, texting, talking, yelling at the screen. Honestly it's sad to say but that theatre was disgusting, there was no toilet paper in the women's bathroom AT ALL, the sinks didn't work only one and no soap in any dispenser. The seats had white stuff on them. One of the best theaters in the Philly area to see a movie. 24 Clean theaters with comfortable seats. They have an IMAX theater, and a lot of 3D screens to showthe latest 3D film. They even added a bar the last time I went. The self serve soda machines are a nice touch that help save time at the concession stand. I've been going here ever since it opened. It was bigger and better than Oxford Valley in the early years, plus its connected to the mall, so you can do some shopping if you get there early. As an adult, I kind of hate going to Neshaminy Mall on a Friday night because its filled with weird and annoying high schoolers, but I'll still go if I want to see a movie. The theater itself is pretty typical. They have decent seats, it's relatively clean, there are large bathrooms, and do it yourself popcorn butter (oil). Prices are outrageous, but not any worse than other theaters. On the weekend its definitely good to go buy your tickets early, and to get your seats early if there's more than two in your group. read more

This AMC is kind of hit or miss. They definitely have upgraded certain areas - like the imax theaters and the bar that is now inside of the theater. They also recently just got these giant iPad like devices so you can check yourself out. They offer fast lines at the ticket booth and at the concession stand for premium members. They also recently put in those cool fancy coke machines. They have multiple snack areas and I definitely think they should consider using them because the one in the very front is disgusting. It always is. It's dirty, overcrowded and dark . The whole theater is dark but there's zero reason why the concession stand needs to be that dark, except to hide the filth! The prices I think are slightly cheaper than Regal , slightly, and this theater definitely is rather large. Overall it's a nice theater and it's great because it is connected to the mall so all those families and tweens that are looking for a full day out can spend it here! Not trying to scare anyone here but please be cautious of eating the popcorn here with butter . Last month , I was hospitalized to the point where I was throwing up from 4am till 7pm non stop on top of that incessant diarrhea and nausea . I thought it was from the 3 cups of wine that I had but Ive been a responsible drinker since I was young . I couldn't wrap my head around what was causing me to feel like this a few hours after leaving the movies . Fast forward , to July 15 once again I went to watch the anticipated , Sounds of Freedom . Before I even get to what happened to me , I couldn't even sit comfortably because I felt like germs were creeping up on me from how filthy the seats were . The screen is way too light and sound is medium . Now back to me so just like last time i had some popcorn with butter once again . I'm not biased and I know everyone's body functions differently and immune systems are stronger than others but there's no way I got sick again . I'm in tip top shape not even trying to boast !!! I run sub 18min 5ks and I'm also a calisthenics athlete !! This time my colon became inflamed and infected . I passed out the next day on July 16th while out with my fiancé , pooping and peeing on myself . I was unconscious for about 30 seconds !!! I have proof of all this in my medical papers . I had to visit the ER again and then after that the GI doctor !!!! I was so scared because they did a CT scan at the ER to determine what was wrong and said I had colitis . If you guys don't know what that is , it's one of the main factors of inflammatory bowl disease . When I'm telling you my stomach was cramping , dirrhea, vomiting and food was pain rather than pleasure . My body was rejecting everything . Thank God it is something acute . I believe and feel in my heart it was this AMC butter machine !! Look at how dirty their movie is , I wouldn't put it past them if they don't clean their food machineries!!! I go to the movies roughly once every 8 years, so I didn't realize how cool this place got recently! The most notable of new additions I would venture to say is the bar area. My companion got a double shot of whiskey and dumped it in his soda. I got a margarita I sipped on throughout the movie, utterly delightful. The snacks, while still ridiculously expensive-are more varied than the AMC of yesteryear. There were even options for real food too, should you want it. Oh, and the soda machine is pretty sweet. I was seeing a less popular movie, so the theater wasn't as hooked up. Judging by the pictures, the bigger theaters are more comfy and equipped. The theater has undergone a huge renovation in the past years. I love the new reclining seats. Some of the theaters have employed new technology so the sights and sounds of the movies are crisper and clearer. There used to be 3 concession stands but now they only have 1 open. The one stand gets very busy especially during popular movies. I have a premier membership so we can use the premier priority line but during busy times, that line is just as slow as the regular line. There is a McGuffin's Bar for alcoholic drinks. Very expensive just like their overpriced mediocre food. The bathrooms and theaters aren't always very clean. Came in a Sunday morning to catch a 9am movie and the floors around the concession stand were dirty, obviously they hadn't cleaned from the night before. Decent theater with our IMAX and one Dolby sound screen that I know of. The concession stand is fairly busy and kept somewhat clean. I would usually pass on the food. Don't trust it, eat in the Mall. Great place to go she IMAX films on 3D one draw back is that in the middle floor were the carpet section stars on the left and right sides, the first seats next to the stairs on both sides are blocked by a wall;now this seats should not be sold at all, since they block the view of the film being viewed. I stopped in for the matinee showing of Logan. I used the kiosk and had my tix within a minute or two. As I had hoped the theater was almost empty besides a few other early risers. The theater it self was ok-the sound quality could have been better. The seats were a little uncomfortable as well. I'm all about the new AMC model of movie viewing now that the defunct MoviePass has exploded! Like most AMC theaters, this one obviously used to be fun and gorgeous! With tons of room and amenities, the theater still lives today with AMC's purchase! This review isn't so much for the theater, but more so for Sara, who was the only person behind the concession stand when the theater opened today (Christmas day). I just wanted to commend her on being able to handle a long line full of ungrateful patrons complaining that it might take 15 minutes to get a coke and some popcorn. She was super-professional and didn't throw any of her team-members (who obviously called out sick) under the bus. Thankfully, she was really good at her job and moved the line a lot faster than we thought she would. AMC, hire a bunch more Saras, and maybe give her a raise or vacation, or both. read more
